  • McGregor talked the talk and walked the walk. Took out everyone at 145, knocked out the 10 year P4P king in 13 seconds, RDA pulls out and Conor just accepts a fight 2 weight classes above him just to save the fight. Goes 1-1 with prime Nate Diaz at welterweight just to prove he can fight at any weight, then drops down and has the greatest title challenger performance and becomes double champ. Yeah eventually he lost to Khabib, but Conor has taken a year off the game and went to box and made 100 million. But Conor was never a coward, fought everybody and never missed weight or got injured before a huge fight, and knocked people out like no other.

    • I totally agree with most of that. I’m not a fan anymore but he was literally the most fun fighter to watch when he went on a tear. I don’t think we’ll see another like him for a veeeery long time. I do think Conor’s second fight was entirely too close in his second fight with Nate. He has avoided the 3rd fight like crazy though. Also, he wasn’t going up 2 weights because his fight with dos Anjos was at 155, I’m pretty sure. RDA never fought featherweight.

But I'm happy for him for winning the trilogy against a man who really was way too into himself and talked way too much. @anthonykublawi@anthonykublawi3 ай бұрын
    • I doubt it man. The main differenc between the 1st and 2nd fight was Dustin’s growth. He let Conor get into his head that 1st time and fought emotionally. That 2nd fight Conor didn’t try to get into Dustin’s head but he definitely tried for that 3rd fight. Only difference is Dustin didn’t get mad he just clowned Conor back.

    • Disagree with this tbh Dustin was way more mature and the mystique around Conor had faded immensely since their first fight so I don't think anything he would've said would have fucked with Dustin

      @francismartial6427@francismartial64273 ай бұрын
    • It would be difficult for anyone to stay as commited to the game when u ran the fucking thing for years and literally became the most popular and profitable fighter there ever was in MMA. It's kind of a no brainer that he would fade. It's clearly not the same guy mentally, fighting Dustin the 2nd and 3rd time around. And on top of all this Dustin had grown so much and stayed the course all the way up until they fought again. The paths they went on after theyre first fight are drastically different and for Conor to even rematch him just shows his love for the game no matter how much fame or fortune comes his way, but dude just wasnt the same unfortunately.

UFC ain’t the same without him around like he was. The press conferences were just as exciting to watch as the fights. Not taking anything away from Dustin because he done well and beat Conor but there won’t be another fighter who brings the hype with the talk like Conor does. Some of the lines he came out with were legendary 😂 He’s one of those that turns up and catches everyone’s attention right away. The only negative I would say about Conor is that he never really learned wrestling and jiu-jitsu early on because of his ability on is feet. • This next fight for poirier is going to be tougher than any Conor fight BSD is a F-N BEAST. I do hope DP gets the win though. He's such a solid dude.

  • Till this day, Connor wanting this fight WITH KNOWING his shin has a fractured bone shows the stupidity but how much he just loves to fight, He just loves it, he loves the adrenaline from it all. But this injury man cost him 2-3 years of his career. yes out of his Prime but nobody knows what couldve happened in those 2-3 years if he just waited a few months for his Shin to fully heal

  • I liked that lil ass slap Dana gave Conor during the first face off. He knows what Conors value is in the UFC. We know he was rooting for Conor too. He makes that clear leading up to the fight. We don't see him hanging out in Dustin's Suite. Wonder of that had a mental edge to a fighter?
