It's really sad to see how far Witeden has declined over the years. The 3x3x9 is an excellently made puzzle.
Damn they really released their prototypes for sale.
I was literally cringing watching him turn this puzzle. Something was BOUND to pop considering how tight that puzzle was. I think that loosening it would have been better, but honestly, who knows. Maybe it was so tight for a reason, but that would mean the puzzle is poorly designed if the screws are just there for show.
I managed to solve mine in November (3x3x15) - but it was a long and arduous ordeal. I now refer to this cube as the Hand Grenade. It feels like it could explode at any time & the piece seperation bulging gives it a lovely grenade shape.
Last time I was this early, WitEden had good designs

@@osdboza nope. their type C cubes (WitYou, WitLong) were pretty decent for their time. And the wittwo was an extremely good 2x2.

I don't know what happened to Witeden. They used to have such great quality puzzles, but a lot of their most recent ones have been terrible, and unusable. First there was the 2x2 megaminx. Some people's were just about usable apparently, but Mine wasn't. After the 3rd explosion and several houtrs to re-assemble I gave up. It looks like the 3x3x15 is similar.
Don’t recommend anything from WitEden anymore, they probably should go out of business given the quality of their puzzles is absolute garbage.

Last I saw a video of urs was when I was 13 in middle school and had solved my first Cube and now I’m 19 and a sophomore in college.Just wanted to say thanks for technically getting me into the hobby that I still practice time to time
Catching seems a common issue for Witeden stickerless and clear plastic cubes. I had the same problems with the 3x3x9 roadblock in pink clear plastic. Tried cleaning up the flashing, lubing and re-tension but nothing worked. Then i bought another roadblock in the original black/white solid plastic to compare and found it was stable very playable. Mine thankfully did not have any screws falling out and break like yours did. Go with Witeden black/white solid plastic instead of clear or stickerless if you ever buy the brand again to puzzle unless its just to be a showcase piece.

Have you ever tried out flip slide by moose toys? It’s a cube game that involves flipping blocks so that the right colors face up and then sliding them so that they lineup with the light up sections in the middle. It has four different modes, and each one has its own challenges.It’s actually a lot of fun and addicting.
There is also a 3x3x17 by WitEden which I was surprised to find out. It's not on the cubicle at the moment though, its on hknowstore

My first own 3x3 (Something from Qiyi) has better turning but is just unstable as this 3x3x15. Maybe because I always kept taking it apart.

I wonder if removing the springs in the center pieces would improve the quality? Seems like there's a lot of flexibility and I don't recall there being springs in the 3x3x9.
I don't think they even include springs in this one. Just the small screws

I have the 3x3x15, and I was hesitant to scramble it but now I think I'll leave it on my shelf...
Came back here after my my 3x3x11 and 3x3x13 both exploded while in a bag as I was moving. I knew the risks before buying these puzzles, yet and still, I did not expect the explosions when not touching it.
If you can, please make a 2x2 Ghost Barrel Cube Mod. I would like to see it. ☺️

They just had to do the full series. 339 cuboid was a good idea. 339 roadblocks, interesting. 33-10 asymmetric, pretty unique (only compared to their own 334 asymm) 33-11? Great if somehow 339 wasn't enough for you and you want shapeshifting. 33-13 and 33-15 though? Pure hubris

That's really a shame. The Witeden 3x3x9 (II) I have is an extremely fun puzzle to solve. It did need a bit of lube to turn properly, but now the 3x3 part is almost usable as speedcube. That's how good that puzzle is. These 2 though... not so much.

I really liked your video, something I would suggest is that you watch cuby's videos, I don't know if you know him, but he recommends some good cubes, knowing that cube was a disaster and broke
