Lyrics
It's been a long year since you've been gone
I've been alone here, I've grown old
Fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
I keep a journal of memories
I'm feeling lonely, I can't breathe
Fall to pieces, I'm falling
Fell to pieces and I'm still falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
All the years I've tried with more to go
Will the memories die, I'm waiting?
Will I find you, can I find you?
We're falling down, I'm falling
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces
Every time I'm falling down
All alone, I fall to pieces

  • Sadly Scott fell to pieces one last fatal time. This song is still haunting and powerful 7 years later. Scott's voice and Slash's beautiful guitar riffs create a masterpiece rock ballad which stands the test of time. Velvet Revolver one of the last great rock bands. Gone but never forgotten, Scott.

  • Slash was spot on “I just thought he was a great singer, and he'd always been on my mind for this band. He was the one vocalist that I knew had the kind of voice that would serve what we were going to do: he had a John Lennon-ish quality, a little bit of Jim Morrison, and a touch of almost David Bowie. He was the best singer to come out in a long time in my opinion." RIP Scott

Unless you saw him live and he was already being drowned by the Shit and you didn't think you got your money's worth (which I would completely understand), I and most other STP, VR, AoA, Wildabouts and Scott Weiland fans have no clue what the hell you are talking about.

      @Muzikrazy213@Muzikrazy2138 жыл бұрын
    • +Muzikrazy213 Scott, Levon Helm, Steve Perry, and maybe David Coverdale are the only singers I have *ever* heard who sound better live than they do with studio magic. Even as utterly fantastic as singers like Robert Plant, Freddie Mercury and Chris Cornell are, they don't sound nearly as good live as what they sound in studio. Scott, and very few others, however, sounded absolutely amazing live. Let me add in T. Graham Brown, as well, as one who sounded tremendous live, even better than in the studio. Though since he's an old-timer country artist, not too many know about him. I remember being a teenager and everybody losing their shit over Nirvana's Unplugged in New York performance. It's okay; I enjoy listening to it. But I think it really paled in comparison to STP's Unplugged. And to hear Scott sing Interstate Love Song live, where he goes more melodic with it -- it's one of the best voices in rock and roll to hear him live, so I agree: As a fan, I don't know WTF this dude's even talking about.

I hadn’t even heard about Velvet Revolver until I heard this song. My dad loves STP and GnR and I thought they all sounded familiar. Then I saw Scott, Duff, and Slash. Then I heard that lick and I was instantly hooked in. Such a fantastic song. I wish Scott could’ve gotten himself together so badly. This group was really something special.

    • Its an unfortunate truth that it is the pain and sorrows, it is suffering hardships that pushes us to greatness. Otherwise we just whither and die slowly, having never really lived. Some go out with a bang, and what seems like a magical show of fireworks, they give the rest of us the inspiration to keep going because most of us barely make a whimper and just fade away.
