I just purchased a 1974 Sea Craft 20. I am looking for information on the bow gunnels. Do you have videos of work you did in the storage on the bow front and two sides? Specifically the top deck area. Did you have or add support? Mine has just fiberglass and I am wondering if there is supposed to be some sort of material under the gunnel deck to stand on. Thanks.

Looks like someone did the bow deck and it used to have a hatch there, but they covered it. I saw some sort of support in the inside. Alamo’s like high density foams or something. The gunnels looks like they have thin plywood in them towards the back. I just moved and I wish I have time to work on this boat and it is in storage right now.

I have watched all your videos, and I will say this much, you are a very cautious and patient man. I can't wait until you begin putting her back together. Do you have any idea why they moved the drain hole to the side? Good luck and thank you for sharing. Joe

Looks like someone redone the transom and the middle stringer was right in the center.

Not yet. Still trying to decide what to use either wood, composite or pouring material for the transom. I want to build the bracket and tie it to the stringers.
