  • Misery I have is - guy with red lathe doing the steering box - surface weld on both joints. Machine a ‘V’ to the coupling insert area for a complete fusion weld which would give you ‘near original strength’. Need I mention letting the welded item be allowed to cool before machining?

    • Yes and welding in lathes is not the right thing to do, those bearings are taking 150 amps plus ouch.

  • 1:34:11 Number one cam should be in line with cam four and its not, it's not far out but it matters as the piston timing will be wrong.

  • Very rough repair, won’t last, surface welding only. Sheesh, no coolant in drilling or tapping axle. This is crap engineering, for entertainment value only. 😡😡
