    • @@Leroy-df3ee The bad female commentary isn't even the worst part. The Department Of Player Safety is literally ruining the physicality of the game. Fighting stats are down 50% from a decade ago. Body checking and hitting numbers are also down over 60% from a decade or so ago. The league has nearly fully phased out fighting and enforcement from the game, and they are already ruining body checking and hitting now. The concerns over concussions and CTE will see the NFL be a flag football league within a few decades, and the NHL will be a stick checking only league. No body contact at all allowed.

Watching pathetic shit like Brad Marchand getting in a fight in his 1000th game make NHL tonight makes me shake my head and ask what happened to the league. A grapple fest with zero punches does not equal a fight guys. An altercation maybe. As exciting as hockey is to watch in current times with the McDavid's of the world, it just isn't old time hockey. I'll take watching a player get a Gordie Howe hat trick to a 6 apple night for Mcdavid any day.

You didn’t see someone getting the skates kicked out. Eric Lindros was big on that trick. (Look up the fight with Matt Barnaby). It was part of the fight not to be taken down.
