11th Febraury 2014 Korea’s Sang Hwa Lee sets an Olympic Record as she claims gold in the ladies' 500m Speed Skating event. Now as part of our #Sochi365 content celebrating one year on from the Winter Games the full 500m event is now available in on the Olympic KZhead channel.

  • incredible bodies on these skaters, they're so lilt in their movements without skates. and love this video format btw, showing the crowd, athletes working out and trying to get in the right frame of mind, the band, people having a good time, this is what it's all about, nice job.

  • This was one of the events I enjoyed watching in 2014, so I'm glad it made the 'Sochi 365' collection. Having just won her fifth global 500m title in Kolomna (and done a lowland sub-75 again!), Lee Sang-hwa is not far off from becoming the 500m GOAT. Should she win the next two titles in her home country (2017 SD Worlds and Pyeongchang 2018), IMO she will earn that status. On another subject, the Dutch dominance of the speed skating programme in Sochi was such that they made the podium in every single event - hell, not even their Achilles heel (this very event as it happens) could deny them a top-3 finish. [P.S. It's a shame the variety of 'as-broadcast' Sochi 2014 footage made available for public viewing post-Games is nowhere near what was made available for London 2012...]

Simply use your SENSORS...mesure d whole Track...mesure YOUR SKATING STEPS from 1 Corner to d next one LANE "IN" and LANE "OUT"...count your steps from d CORNER START till d CORNER END...keep in mind about YOUR SPEED!!...you CAN DO IT and U BETTER START DOING IT NOW while u still can hv VISIBILITY!...got it?...try it...don't worry about d CRASHINGS!...IF u really LOVE ICE SPEED SKATING u will gt ACQUAINTED will ALL D MOVES!...DO IT!👍👌👏👏

  • Кому нужен спорт и соревнования? да богатые люди таким образом отвлекают бедных от политики и денег,они преувеличивают важность олимпиады яко бы пере другими странами надо показать себя достойно,но на деле же бедных людей таким образом обманывают что бы оправдать классовое неравноправие.Ну какой престиж,вы о чем? Это же смешно.Более того большенству это даже не интересно,они просто это пиарят уверяя людей в этом.Детский сад.На деле же так типо у одних есть деньги а у других нету но нам надо держатся так и оставить все как есть во имя славы и престижа государства,короче лохотрон.Типо у нас такие задачи и их надо выполнить.И так постоянно что то новое придумывают то олимпиада то зимняя олимпиада то чемпионат мира по футболу,формула 1,мончестер,хоккей,ну и конечно церковные богослужения,я конечно всего не напишу но это все глобальный лохотрон,людей уверяют в том что им это надо.И под эту всю тему богатые люди поработили бедных,лишив их доступа к деньгам
