The rivalry between Israel Adesanya and Alex Pereira is truly one for the ages. Now that Pereira took Izzy’s belt at UFC 281, something tells me that their story is far from over. #israeladesanya #alexpereira #ufc281

They are THE BEST
@@PatrickGavia I loved your videos but the filter ruins it I miss when you were more serious and didn't have them your older videos are perfection
On gwad!!
@@malfunction7076 the reason he does that, is due to copyright issues, if he shows all those images with full quality, then the video is probably getting flagged
"Some people aren't meant to fit in, some people are meant to stand out." Such a powerful quote.
It’s crazy cuz I still see him as someone who’s trying so hard to be the cool guy.
@@AR-ey6gn some things never die. He's traumatized as a kid being cast out so subconsciously he wanted to fit in too as an adult.
@@elyas4637 exactly. It felt like he was getting bullied all over again, this is why it was even sadder when he lost. He definitely sees the internet comment mocking his comebacks, and his style, etc. I hope he recovers
You guys need to have this kind of worries on your selfs lol izzy is already world champion millionaire successful af honestly loses don’t really matter who cares lol
@@AR-ey6gn He's definitely not trying to be the cool guy lol otherwise he wouldn't talk about anime and nerdy stuff so much. The cool guy is not an anime nerd. But he loves his style and puts himself out there, and he knows that people who like that kind of stuff will flock to him, and those who don't...well fuck them
Got me teary eyed when Silva spoke those words to Izzy. At loss of words to appreciate your work Sir Patrick Gavia, take a bow.
rat bastard got me too
Gave me goosebumps
That's one of my favorite fights ever fought.
Knowing that Izzy came back and regained his belt, the end of this video was brilliant!
It’s like he saw the future
One of the greatest knockouts in UFC history and celebrations
Then lost it again 😣
This aged like milk 😂
lol
That part where Silva was speaking to him and passing him the baton. Goosebumps!
Could you imagine your idol, the person you looked up to and aspired to be like for your whole career, told you that. That's gotta be life changing. Just imagine throughout history how few people have had that happen to them.
Shame Silva was waay past his prime. Would love to see prime Silva vs Izzy
Tears in my eyes mate... tears in my frikkin eyes.🥺
@@H4is3nberg izzy would get mopped period saw times in this fight when he was froze a younger Silva game over
@@sluggak1363 agreed
I loved this and would also love to see a documentary focused on Alex Pereira. People just view him as Israel's rival who just wants to fight him when he has worked his way up from being a young alcoholic and finding kickboxing then transitioning to MMA.
yeah for real I think people just write him off because he's scary and doesn't speak English
I would love to see that as well however due to the way this documentary ended I have a feeling Patrick is a big Izzy fan
Can tell he’s a izzy fanboy and wanted him to win the fight lmao, super biased towards him in this video making it mainly about izzy even though he lost and alex was the winner. He probably thought izzy was gonna win and pre recorded the video but now that alex won he just decided to post it anyway and barely include alex at the end of the video
Wouldn't be surprised that the reason why this video is around 90% Izzy is because the creator of the video thought Izzy was going to win. 🤣🤣😜
@@Vebol785 cry
Most clever UFC fighter. How did you know Stylebender would win ? He’s back. What a cerebral fighter
And the same damn thing i am thinking
He didn’t know he was going to win. He edited the thumbnail, but the original video was still older than the actual 4th fight.
Izzy is the corniest ufc fighter. Incredibly emotional and immature.
@@d_rod3 How exactly is he immature?
@@d_rod3 He is corny But it won't take his greatness
YOU CALLED IT! THE STORY HAD NOT ENDED YET!
Bro saw the future
Would be nice for you to do one on Alex. The hand of stone had to go through so much shit to be in a position to hunt the style bender. It's remarkably what Alex endured in his path
Absolutely. But i guess thats not a profitable video to make
I'm sure Alex will get his fair share of fan documentaries, perhaps from Patrick himself, as he distinguishes himself more and his MMA career keeps progressing. Izzy was a great champion for many years and fully deserves the focus of this video
Like what? He didn’t have to escape Africa…. If it doesn’t top that I’m not interested…. Plus Israel is going to have him for lunch next time
@@ImSoSilvy I mean, Izzy also didn't have to escape Africa. He left, by plane, because he was rich with servants. There probably isn't a more underwhelming African story than Izzy's. I agree not every story is going to be as harsh and inspiring as Ngannou's, but escaping Brazilian poverty with no education, with just sheer talent and hard work is still a remarkable feat on its own.
@@marinmarinhola that’s my point! We have American stories on my channel though lol

That shit was magical man. The Silva part and especially the ending gave me chills. It was like the villain won, almost like Alex is inevitable
His voice is completely Fine people can sometimes be total DICKs
Rewatching your amazing work after his rematch
Is this really a story about Izzy and Alex's rivalry? Felt like this documentary solely focuses on Izzy. Alex had such an interesting path to the title (indigenous tribe, addiction, #1 striker in the world). He truly is Izzy's boogeyman, the man changed sports to beat Izzy for a 3rd time. There's so many great anime references on character rivalries, epic battles, I feel like all of these things could have greatly improved the doc and painted this rivalry in an epic way.
The thing is, Patrick really, really, REALLY thought Izzy was gonna win, so the doc has a very strong "redemption" vibe. I guess he had to shoot the last scenes in a hurry after Poatan showed that nukes for hands matter more than scorecards.
Agreed. Once again Poatan not getting his due. He came in and did what nobody else in the UFC could do......for a 3rd time.
@@ateondeder5725 This, you're right, the video has the vibe that Adesanya will get his redemptio and will win, that's why the salty end with the last page, he wants Adesanya to win, that will not happen.
@@milovarquiel only reason why people Wanna see a rematch is because of salty dizzy izzy fans not seeing their boi hit the deck since he was saved by the referee 😂

Being real I’m just getting into UFC/MMA. Absolutely love and respect the hell out of the sport. I must say sir you making this content is amazing to watch and helps a newcomer like myself understand the sports history in such an entertaining way. Been watching and liking content nonstop!! I applaud you
Watching this after Izzy sparking Alex out makes me so hyped for the next episode. What a fighter!
I feel so bad for Izzy. To lose to the same guy 3 straight times and lose the belt in the process must be absolutely heartbreaking. How do you come from that?
How do you come back from that? Uhm Izzy hadn't lost to Alex in years and was dominating in the best fighting organization in the world...then Izzy fights Alex again, almost has him out in the first, dominates the fight and loses with a minute or two to go just bc Izzy backed up to the cage and gave AP the opening Alex needed to win.
He will win next time
@@thediaz07 there's more to it. Alex gave Izzy a taste of his own medicine and destroyed his legs (probably the only one with the dimensions necessary to do it at middle weight), that's why he couldn't defend against Alex in the fifth, his body was too worked up. Izzy made some mistakes, but a lot of what lead to the TKO was planned by Alex
@@marinmarinhola yeah Im not hating on Alex but idt he's that methodical...Izzy got hurt w that check leg kick in the 4th I think and that really messed him up...Izzy said it was in the first but the leg check in the 4th really messed him up ..either way Izzy was more methodical and controlled the fight for 22 minutes.
It's because of those losses that he will win.

Amazing but damn bro did Izzy losing hurt this production? The way this documentary went it looks like it was for Izzy's redemption

Sorry Movies over The Jagwar diety devoured Zion again.
Patrick this is an amazing video! Can you do a part 2 that focuses on Alex Pereira and his story? He seems to have an amazing story from what I’ve learned so far.
Pereira is a freak of nature. He started kickboxing only when he was 21, at 27 he became Brazilian kickboxing champion even having serious alcohol problems. His history is so inspirational as Izzy's is.
His story is amazing as well and makes his own rivalry with Izzy even more like something out of a movie. I wish people knew a lot more about Alex
Yeah you can tell he’s a izzy fanboy and wanted him to win the fight lmao, super biased towards him in this video making it mainly about izzy even though he lost and alex was the winner. He probably thought izzy was gonna win and pre recorded the video but now that alex won he just decided to post it anyway and barely include alex at the end of the video
I love that this documentary is more about Izzy the person, not the fighter. His mindset, his journey, his trauma, his motivation, his escape, and his passions. Brilliantly made documentary 🏆🎉
Came back after Izzys win. The story continues. Looking forward the next series

Really good quality in your content man. The production is awesome, but as a fan of Poatan as well I would like to see his side of history too. The fact he was an alcoholic, came from poverty, is descendent from the Brazilian Indians and has worked as bricklayer could be interesting for your story. Again, amazing film my friend.
Yeah I feel like part of the reason he is so stoic and shows almost no emotions even in victories has to do from what he has gone through in childhood, dropping out of school at 12, working as mechanic with adults who made you alcoholic just like them must've been traumatic, his story isnt much different tgan ngannous, like Ngannou said he never had a childhood, heartbreaking
Dude no joke. Your 18min video literally made me cry, laugh, and cheer all within that short span. Thanks for fulfilling my wish! This was the best gift I could receive before I get sent into Combat (Singapore uses conscription and I'm done with recruit training. So it looks like sadly Kickboxing will just have to hold) Fuck it, you are the first KZheadr that I've supported on Patreon. Patrick , you definitely will realise in few years time how many lives you have changed with these documentaries including my self and keep going my man you deserve better recognition. You are the man thanks for everything.
Your work is better than the content the UFC puts out on fighters and I think it's because you are able to capture the essence of what it means to be a martial artist and what motivates these individuals to achieve greatness. Fantastic work as always!
Your comparing orange to apple, ufc are highlighting what's happen today and tommorow and only from ufc, and its all about the news, and these most of clip should be copyrighted & ilegal why would ufc making documentaries from others organization, they would got copyright infringement, you people had no idea
@@archie7288 That expression always makes me laugh. They are both fruit my dude, of course you can compare them. The UFC is selling story lines and a fighter's past is a part of that. And izzy just won his belt back
I really appreciate what Izzy brings to the world of MMA. Many people who were izzy fans have now turned into Alex's fans after alex win the fight. But not me, I always support and love izzy no matter he will become the UFC champion again or not. In my opinion izzy is the best MMA middleweight champion the UFC has ever had and the most excited and highly entertained fighter I have ever watched.
If he get inside water to the hip level, you gonna die, cause you mouth is stuck in his balls
I’m a Poatan fan and predicted he would win but I agree, I think Adesanya was the best MW champion in the UFC due to beating guys way better than Anderson fought.
Why not support both ? both r cool as fuck.
No shame in losing to Alex, he got fast tracked to the title shot because Israel was running out of good match ups, Alex's striking was already elite. He's like 20-30lb heavier than Israel too. It's like a middle weight vs a light heavy weight. Despite that advantage it was a great fight, very difficult for both guys. I think Israel has the skills to beat him, he just needed to put more pressure on Alex when he was trying to conserve energy, different than what his team normally does but with this opponent you have to fight fire with fire, otherwise he will put the pressure on later on in the fight just like he did. I think Israel's cornermen wanted him to be too patient in rd 5 because they won enough rounds, but his leg was too compromised to evade Alex's pressure. Props to Alex, this fight played out like a movie, both guys are warriors!
