Expert Tips On How To Remove Dangerous Trees Safely!
In this exciting video, join me as I take on the challenging task of removing two enormous spruces situated perilously close to a home. The operation involved meticulous planning and precise execution, using a Stalpen tree jack and a tackle with rope. You won't believe the size of these trees!
The first spruce, which was leaning away from the house, was no match for the power of the Stalpen tree jack. Watch how smoothly and efficiently it's brought down. However, the real challenge was the second tree, leaning precariously towards the house, presenting a risk of property damage if not removed correctly.
With careful preparation and the help of a tackle and rope, see how I safely pulled it down. And all of these are done with my trusty Stihl MS 400 C-M chainsaw, a professional's choice for tough jobs like this.
As a professional tree removal specialist, I hope my experiences and tips can help fellow arborists or those interested in the industry. A pro at work 👍
Thanks for good info!
The second fir felling was a very high risk. If you had taken one tripping step, you would benn hit by the tree. Extremly dangerous. Take care of you
two cuts of incredible perfection, the professionals can be seen and distinguished by the way they work. Well done.
superbly done. I am engaged in cutting firewood for my own needs. felling technique and a good and sharp chainsaw are always important. and of course take care of safety. Greetings from Croatia.
Greetings and welcome to my channel!
Thanks for describing the felling tongues & the telescoping rod. Have you considered selling this assembly on Amazon?
I had a hardware store for 20 years. I just sold the business to focus more on tree removal and youtube
Witch version of the Stalpen are you using? And are you thinking in some situations that you would have like to have the biggest one?

Good instructional video!
Thank you!
Very professional with big saw👍
Good job. 👍
Could you explain, please, why you do the two very small side cuts? Thank you from northern Michigan USA
Sorry, I now see your reply from a previous viewer.
No worries, they are to get the bark away from ruin my day
Neturint įrankio medžio parėmimui, galima kalti kylius priešingoje išjovos pusėje ir tokiu būdu paversti medį.
Master craftsman at work. Love to see it and the expert level of tool useage. 👍👍
Why did you make the small side cuts after the first notch? I’m curious what this did. Thanks,
Me no expert but it looks like those little side notches provide better visibility to aim the back cut to the hinge. Or possibly to pre-remove any peripheral hinge so that there's no unwanted last second pull from either side.
@@billycox475 yea that makes sense thanks
Beautiful work!❤
Thank you!
Has hecho un trabajo perfecto

Welcome to the channel!
That's funny! He has the Husqvarna brand jacket... and uses a Sthil chainsaw!
jolie travail
Good job. Please, why did you cut the sides? What does it help for? Thanks.
It prevents the trunk from twisting while falling
Hallo wie hast du den Schrauber installiert
What is the tool called he uses to help throw the trey

Kiitos! Englanniksi myös paljon uskottavampia?

good job buddy!
This was awesome👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Whats felling tongs I have never seen them dose it clamp to the tree .I would spike up the tree and attach the rigging rope
Check this out: kzhead.info/sun/q95xlL2KlquErY0/bejne.html
It is basically large spring loaded log hook that you can lift to tree with the pole. And you can connect your rope to that. No need to climb the tree.
Everyday is a learning day 💪
😃👍🏻👍🏻
Fantastic tutorial best wishes watching from north west England 🏴
😃👍🏻👍🏻
Where did you but those felling tongs with the telescopic handle? Tank you
I used to own a forestry shop, from there
Soo good mate! Great skills. Why do you shave the sides of cut?
Thanks, to see the blade clearly and to avoid the bark from twisting the falling trunk
super
Nice job!
Thank you!!!
Im surprised how deep of a felling notch you can get away with on those trees. We usually only go 30% depth of the diameter at the deepest, or 80% of the diameter for the inside edge of the notch...yeah...you didnt HAVE to use the Stalpen...you just WANTED to...LOL...nice tool...
I like that stalpen
Why do you make cuts on the sides of the tree ??
these not danger tree they are all good trees ..but really good felling !!
Para que le razura los costados?
👍
Seeing that, I'm no professional, but I wonder if one could use a battery powered winch to pull on the tree more safely. Would need a long remote and/or maybe there is a wireless version. Anyhow I think you could stand in a 45° safe zone and pull on a rope on the battery powered winch to pull it out of the way as the tree is just about to fall.
You could also use a pulley which would let you pull the rope sideways.
When I'm dropping a tree close to structures, ALWAYS gets rope or cable to positively control the direction of fall. The pusher pole just doesn't do enough for long enough.
Too slow for commercial tree felling, clients don't pay enough to waste that much time.
Why do you have to shave the sides of the trunk when you fell a tree?
To see the blade easier, an to avoid the trunk from twisting
@@FINNISHLUMBERJACK thanks!
Why do you cut so nice trees ?
No need to rebuild the house 🎉
Expert at work; what else is there to say?
Looks like you did this your whole life good sht
Thank you! I have
I'm wondering, why you have to shave the side? Merci.
I would love to know also
For two reasons: 1) to see the blade and cut easier, 2) not letting the bark to twist the tree when falling
@@FINNISHLUMBERJACK Thank you!
Now i see. Thank you.
@@FINNISHLUMBERJACKw
You should have pulled from a right angle position out of the falling path of the tree....that was very unsafe, even for someone who cuts many trees...
Not really
Not really.. you never tripped over or fell in your life ? Boots snagged in brash..happens all the time in forestry as you will know... Never pull tree to your self like that ,also shouldn't work along. Sorry but not safe ,could of put redirect with pully ,or preloaded tree with winch or other method
Hur lätt som helst att fälla 🤣😉😉 Micke 🇸🇪
Don't understand the reason for "shaving" the sides .....

Why you use toys (Stalpen and boom stick)? You are a beginner ? Mollycoddle!

I’m an arborist, There were no defects I could see in these trees and they were healthy. Removing them decreased the livability of the property not to mention the environmental impact.
LG.alex 👌💪👍😎🤗🇦🇹 ❤🪓🌲🪓🌲❤ Weiter hin gut Holz 😉💪💪💪🍀🍀🍀🍀
The direction is good. but if you fall, you are under the tree
wow how risky at the end .... not good

who teached you to cut a tree on this way, why don't set the cut 2 meters above ground instead as close as possible? and people here say "very professional" ? i will say "no comment" 😂
spam bland kommrntarerna?
why people cuting down so beautyfull trees? 😣
first cut way too deep. no safety space left. far away from master work
🥶

Too much bad practice here to be a 'how to', especially for novices. Experience can make you lazy with safety and this video is a 'how not to'. No use of chain brake, moving around in fall direction and winching to standing position amongst brash. Don't try this at home.
👌👌👌
damn good job
