    @Slayerboy450@Slayerboy4502 жыл бұрын
    • Anyone in the know recognized that, but it was the casual fans who paid zero attention to the Burns fight and still believed Usman to be a boring foot stomper. The Masvidal fight, while IMO should have never happened because it was an undeserved title shot, was a real wake-up call to the casual fans. Even today, while Usman has silenced most of his critics there are still some doubters out there who if anything just want him gone as champion because they see him as unmarketable and lacking in charisma; a black hole personality. It is hard to see Usman losing anytime soon, but if he does to someone like you know who, their wish will be granted and any conversation about who the WW GOAT is, will be over.

I'm a huge Jon Jones fan (in the octagon) but dude started slipping his last couple fights and in my opinion found a way out before someone clipped him. But Usman is starting to take over as my favorite. His energy and confidence is something I hope to channel one day into my own life. Adesanya CAnt go without being mentioned as well. • With the benefit of hindsight you can watch some of Woodley's earlier losses and takeaway from the fact that those losses foreshadowed his eventual defeat as a champion. Jake Shields and Rory MacDonald showed that you can defeat Woodley by out-pressuring him and using the cage to clinch and grapple with him. Its not overly exciting, but its effective because the dude always backs up to the cage looking for the right hand.

    • @Tuneless Its what Usman and Burns did before him. The blueprint was already out and Colby to his credit followed it to a T. EDIT: I do think though if they fought in 2018 when both men were champions, Colby would have turned Woodley into The Frozen One anyway and unified the belt.
