How is that mauled leg? Is it bad?
@@tr1x243 Time will tell. Hopefully it will heal without leaving permanent effects. Keep in mind how badly mauled the Red Road Male was after he unwisely "patrolled"/wandered too close to the Tintswalo male/Mbiri pride territory. Flesh wounds would be likely to heal without much future effects, except if nerves are involved; wounds to bones in joint areas could leave worse effects even after healing. Uboso looks to be in the former category, but ....
Is this uknkown group the grown up Sub Adults from the Kambula Pride ?

I agree..The Elephants are Awesome, Majestic.Watching them is also very entertaining, especially the Babies,& Sub-Adults.... They're so protective of the youngsters, as well as their Herd.

Well it's not really the wild when you have several cars full of paying gawkers. It's not really the wild when those same cars were likely steering the lions into other territory earlier that morning. Its sad what they are doing to the wild. Or what USED TO BE the wild

poor Usubo, he is always wounded in territorial confrontations, with that crooked leg it is difficult for him to escape. I'm glad he was strong and held out until his brothers came to help. Thanks for video!

Young lion looks supremely confident. If all three are looking like that, they will not be going away.
That was the fastest I have ever seen a lion run, I don't think his paw was limiting him. I heard Gore had been chased by two unknown new males recently, so I'm not surprised this happened. The Nwaswishakas only have power in numbers and they are spreading themselves thin to cover three prides when there are so many coalitions and nomadic males around.
Was the one running not a unknown male?
The one running wasn't the one with the injured pawn...

If push comes to shove, lions seem to really cherish MalaMala, I think the Styx pride would unfortunately loose their pride males. Hoping that won't happen either, but these boys are stretched and it's dangerous especially when you're fighting for such a lion valued territory.

It already started yesterday in Sabi Sabi, the four Ndzhenga males must stay together to protect the Styx and the Southern pride and hold their territory. But it could cause serious problems for other Lions and pride these three young Lions ... there is concern if they do not go back to Kruger. Thank you for the news

Well, they did chase them out, but yea, that male who was caught was lucky.
this is the result of a surprise attack on a male who can't run properly, the same would have happened in a smaller territory

@@skyyadav969 read the blog, 3 new males caught lone Ubuso, mauled him, 3 N'ws came to rescue and chased them away. Ubuso is injured but should'nt be life threatning.

Ndzengas are wearing themselves thin... Them being so far apart is gonna make it easy for intruding males to isolate them. Glad to see they all survived... For now.
Well, that was suprise attack, these males just came out of nowhere yesterday and start attacking them, usually takeovers are not such blitzkrieg, yes, Wide Nose got lucky to survive, but N'ws did well, they reacted and gruoped quickly.
its kinda shocking cause they just chased Gore north yesterday and today they mauled Ubuso, Most people though about when the Nwas males would come into contact with the new coalition, but it happen sooner than expected
@@KO-ei9db Ubuso prob couldn't run away from 3 males because of his limping, thats prob the reason they caught him, luckly for him, his brothers reacted fast and came in hot.

The older male who is fully maned has been mauled while his younger coalition partner seems to have no injuries at all!
This 3 males found the best area to get into sabisands, in the south east they will find the 2 s.avoca always together so they dont want that, nws leaving members by themself def not the best option and these 3 will prob stay around.

Couldn't figure out the chaos at 1:51 ? There are four lions and one makes a dash Crossfield. Is the one at the forefront Uboso and if so why is the other male hightailing crossfield? Or this is the footage of two Ndzengas chasing two intruders
From what I can work out the two who run first are the intruders, being chased by two N'was.

I have seen them really save a lion a couple of times about 6 year's ago when I know they were going to kill the old lion but the elephants didn't let them they even let the hurt lion alone and I thought for sure they were finna do him in but they left.

I wonder if these are the same three young males some people thought was junior and the two mini matimbas? I’m glad the N’was was able to defend their territory and I really hope these youngsters find another pride to take over. I know lions kill each other sometimes but after all, all young males deserve a chance.
They deserve nothing. In the wild it has to be taken. That's just the harsh and violent reality of nature. Take it or you don't survive.

Probably these are the ones, But they are most likely Not Junior and the 2 Matimba-Ottawas. Look at pictures in WildFact. Remember that Junior and his pride brothers were seen around Elephant Pont Lodge, and that is in the vicinity of the Phabeni Gate, or Phabeni whatever, that the unknown lions here came from, or have been associated with. Look at a detailed map of KNP. This does Not prove beyond any doubt that Junior and his pride brothers are dead--they could've been a fairly even match in recent months for the unknown lions here; on the other hand, maybe they ran from them, seeing here that these 3 unknown males might be a bit "meaner" for their ages than Junior and his brothers. The 1 here is probably no more than a muscular 3-year-old; the Matimba-Ottawas are almost 3.5 years old, if still alive; Junior is 4, if still alive.

These unknown coalition were seen yesterday in Sabi Sabi, they chased the male Nwaswishaka wounded in the stomach, I see that they followed him to Malamala and caught him. these 2 or 3 unknown young lions are determined to challenge all the lions, we will see what happens with the Nwaswishaka, will the 4 meet?

The 3 young males were roaring in sabi sabi, what may be a open area now and then they spotted the injured belly male and chase him till they meet other Nwa male who was more confident to fight and they mauled him, the sounds attracted the other nwas that arrived on time and started to chase the 3 young males away. These 3 young males came from sabisabi to central sabi sands almost, not silence, they roar till they found a response, they look to be confident but still young i think, but very brave move i have to say.

Just when we thought N'waswitshakas had enough problems on their hands with controlling 2 prides, takeover another and dealing with 3 groups of males lions, another party shows up! And they actually did some work, man this years gonna be exciting that's for sure

These 3 newcomers draw 1st blood and now know who they're up against. Only 2 ndzenga males are really fit to fight. Ubuso (especially with his injuries right now) and gore are very vulnerable of being picked off.
All 4 of them are fit to fight, being more vulnerable doesn't mean they can't fight back

Agree, the gore one is avoiding any fight, what is a smart move for him, other rival males will def attack that injurie area, like they did to the other nwk, imagine a claw getting stuck on that injurie, will be messy.

Well, they failed, they didnt kill that male, which would bring them to 3vs3, and got chased away, they might not get another chance like that.

Seems to me as if the lions, (in addition to other wild animals), are incapable of 'seeing' or acknowledging the presence of humans in safari vehicles, as the humans in vehicles aren't part of their natural world, even though they're right there in plain sight...in front of their very eyes.
