My most ambitious project ever is finally here! A project spanning 4 and a half years, I have used every technique I know to produce a stunning replica of the Etihad Stadium along with the vast majority of the Etihad Campus. Initially started alongside the University of Bolton Stadium on November 22nd, 2017, the build was largely neglected until it was restarted on July 16th 2021. At long last the project was finally completed on July 16, 2022.

This is without a doubt the best Minecraft stadium build of all time, and possibly the best Minecraft build of all time. The level of detail on this is incredible. I can’t wait to download it and experience the details first hand. This is probably comparable to an actual stadium tour. You consistently raise the bar for stadium builds. Keep up the incredible work 👏

Honestly. It’s unreal how much detail you’ve put into this. I’m a season ticket holder and honestly there’s not one bit of this where it doesn’t look quite right. The background into our history is so accurate too, listening to this reciting names along with you. Fair play mate

I do take issue when people say City have no history because they clearly do, and it was very interesting to learn about some of the things that happened in your past. I think narrating the history in the background of my videos helps to provide a deeper connection with a particular club so I'm glad you were able to follow along and enjoy that 🙂👍
@@Matthew_Rushton good to hear you get down to a couple games mate obviously Bolton is only down the road, but yeah people seem to think if you haven’t won the champions league in your history, you’ve got none to talk about. It definitely gives another dimension to your videos, talking about the clubs history, explains a few roots that you can see within the club, the certain hospitality suites and the statues for example, I don’t know if you put in the joe mercer mosaic in there I’ll have to rewatch the video, but your narration definitely helps focus on a few things dotted around the ‘campus’ that have a deeper meaning to our history. Class video mate and a real talent :)

Thank you so much pal! Work has slowed down quite a bit because I've got a couple of Uni deadlines over the next week or so. I've got a few Championship builds in the pipeline, namely the City Ground and Ewood Park (the two of the 4 I'm currently doing that are the closest to being finished). I've been looking at Old Trafford for a while now and have devised a strategy in terms of building it (can't leave the other half of Manchester out after all 😂). I doubt interiors would be possible because I know the tour guides there don't like videos being filmed, but it is one that will probably be started when I get an opportunity though 🙂👍

how many times did you want to quit? how did you want to feel when you started and imagined finishing it, how do you feel now after completing it? asking for you a true artist. dedicated to art
Initially I started it on Xbox and that was really difficult and I did contemplate abandoning it. I think that probably shows why I was so stop start with it and why it was largely neglected for over 3 years 😂. Once I restarted it on PC I approached it in a much more structured way building a layer at a time and I would say the hardest part then was probably the transitional pieces of the roof connecting the South Stand expansion to the rest of the stadium. It was around that point that I decided I would add the rest of the campus to the build to make it the most complex megabuild of its kind, and now that I've accomplished all of that (aside from the addition of Co-Op Live - which could yet be added down the line 👀), I'm very proud of myself and honoured to have done this for the fans of Manchester City and everyone associated with the club 🙂👍

Unfortunately there were no drawings to help me build this stadium. I went through probably over 400 images from Google as well as numerous photographs and videos from two separate stadium visits

Following that I have Blackburn Rovers, Brentford, Wigan Athletic and Rotherham United. I'm hoping to have 5 or 6 stadiums done this year

There's a lot of trial and error in these, so a tutorial just isn't practical unfortunately Since the release of Elland Road I've only been doing downloads for Java edition, mainly because I've no idea how to convert my stadia while retaining the custom texture packs

It's only available on Java, if you're on Java you need to put the save file in the saves folder and then put the resource pack into the Resource Pack folder

The 16 fields are the training pitches for the City Football Academy. This includes the central facilities which feature both an indoor and outdoor pitch. I've also included the pitch at the Academy Stadium in this 16, although I can't remember whether City count that or not

I only do Java nowadays unfortunately. It may be possible for you to convert the world but I wouldn't know how

I built this in Java, I'm not sure how to convert both the world and the texture pack to Bedrock for console users. I think given it took me a year to build it in Java I can't think how long it'd take on console 😂

You have to download the file, extract it using WinZip or something similar and place the map itself into "Saves" and the textures into "Resource Packs"
Why can't I load the map?
I'm not sure, I did use Chisel and Bits on it so that could possibly be a factor
