Mercedes E63S AMG Wagon | Insanely Fast

We review the updated 2021 Mercedes AMG E 63 S Wagon. We explain why the crazy car people want to dump $120,000 on a 600HP Wagon and who on earth wants to drive this. As sports cars evolve we now have more and more options to go quickly to the Trader Joes like never before. The other options are the Audi RS6 Wagon, BMW M5, and the Trusty Toyota RAV4 Prime to scratch that itch.

  • It is amazing to realize we have reached a moment in automotive history when there are more $120,000 wagons on the market than $20,000 wagons.

Here in Europe, there’s a Corolla wagon, Mazda 6 wagon, hyundai i30 wagon, kia ceed wagon, golf wagon, passat wagon, arteon wagon, peugeot 508 wagon, škoda octavia wagon, škoda superb wagon, mercedes cla wagon, c class wagon, 3 series wagon.

    • You don't need to go anything like this expensive to be able to do that - almost any half decent large family car made in the last decade will cruise at 100 mph all day without the passengers even noticing if they're used to being in cheap small cars. I changed from a medium sized to a large family car from a budget European brand and 75 mph suddenly felt like 55. I should mention that 161 km/h is 100 mph, 120 km/h (~75 mph) is the lowest top motorway speed limit I've seen in Europe, with some countries going as high as 140 km/h (~87 mph) or no speed limit at all in the case of some sections of German autobahn.
