You're back! It's been like a month or so? Anyway, watching that bit with the Multipla made me think: How about a new challenge with 2 or 3 (depends if you could get Alex or someone else to join you) cheap cars and a series of challenges to find out who bought the best car? I'd say anything goes, buy a 40 year old shitbox that's been sitting in a shed for 10 years, buy a van.. All fine.
A nice subjective criterion like "it has to be interesting" then it's up to the boys to tell each other, themselves and us why it's interesting. Creates arguments and fun. And then it encourages a variety of cars because they all think something different is interesting.
You're doing a great job lads. I did worry that it wouldn't be the same without Alex but you guys are smashing it, keep up the good work!

It's not a sudden split, as far as I'm aware. Alex and the Car Throttle crew are definitely all still friends (seen on Alex's social media from time to time), but Alex being busy with his own channel, and doing personal life stuff, he may just have decided that being freelance at CT wasn't working out, as personal channel takes priority.

@@sushi777300 I think it got in to his head. He though that he should not share the profits with Car Throttle as he was carry the channel alone. That's only half truth, he did a lot of the grunt work and was the main face of the channel, but it's still a team effort. Seeing his channel its apparently that even with him calling the shots, it's not the same. I don't mind Jack and Ethan, in the last couple of years i though Alex was more annoying than anything. Also, Mighty Car Mods works fine with just 2 presenters.

Yano it's harder than it looks this one. I jumped on Ebay right after because I actually don't think the Beetle is that bad, eyelids aside, and I didn't really find anything. There's plenty of cars which are boring and character-less, but objectively ugly is harder than you might imagine.

While Alex is a good host, I must admit that I prefer the Jack and Ethan combo host videos more. (Videos with the trio together are still the best, though!)
