  • Could Sneijder really have been as good as them? 🤔 Also, I Ran into a lot of trouble making this video, has to cut some parts post-upload or it would be banned worldwide but Iwas saying 1. the teammate who he partied with was Guti Haz (subject of my last video) and 2. that many people saw him losing the 2010 ballon d’or as robbery.

    • If he continued his form from 2010 he could have been a level below them, he could have been the 3rd best, like how people say neymar was imo.

  • Edit: I noticed you've never made a video about Rafael Van Der Vaart. I think he could be very interesting to look at. He was a remarkable player who basically single handedly braught HSV back on the map in the Bundesliga. Funny thing; Van der Vaart was actually considered the bigger talent of the two when they both played at Ajax in their first couple seasons. Also, if you think about it, Van Der Vaart en Sneijder are both very similair players but Sneijder just reached a bit of a higher peak. - They both had an extremely potent albeit short prime - Both were very versatile with great shooting ability, the vision and passing to supplement from midfield. - They both didn't have a weak foot, even sometimes taking corner kicks with their 'weak' foot if it would mean the ball would curl inward. And there are actually more similarities but those were the main ones and I don't want to bore people with a post that's too long. I just always thought it was really interesting to me how similair those two guys were.

  • Cool video. I love how you choose the not so much spoken of, more special stories of football. I´m a big Dutch football fan myself. And Yes I´m Dutch, but you can´t deny how many special players have come out of Holland. If you are looking for players with a special story, can I just recommend: Johan Cruyff - I was surprised not to find a video about him, since you done one about Pele and Maradona. If you're doing a series about GOATS, then Cruyff must surely be in it. There is much to tell about him, like how young he started at Ajax. How he was the first Catalunian God, he made Barcelona great, defeating Real Madrid for the first time and with such high numbers. How he always was a coach in the field like no other. How he revolutionised football with the 4-3-3 system. The way he could talk about football that sounded like philosophical footbal wisdom from a football God. The way he never won the World Cup, with one of the best teams ever. The way he took the ball in the 74 World Cup final, dribbled pass the whole German team, to be put down in the penalty area, with Holland scoring a goal in the final without Germany even having touched the ball. The way his family was threatened to not go to the 78 World Cup in Argentina by the dictator of Argentina. How he eventually came back to Holland, got beef with Ajax, played for the main rival Feyenoordm which was unheard of and WIN the league, which was crazy. I mean, there is so much to tell about this guy, it's incredible. Dennis Bergkamp - Or if you want to talk about a gem player, who has scored the most insane goals in history and was a playmaker that dominated the game like only Zidane could, look to Bergkamp at Arsenal. Bergkamp scored amazing goals at Ajax. Fluked at Inter Milaan, but totally clicked at Arsenal. He was an extremely sensitive person who needed the right environment to play. He didn't go on planes. Therefor he wasn't so good in the Champions league, but at Arsenal he was amazing. A very special player indeed who created magical moments.

    • Yeah, he was an A Tier player at best, thats the difference between him and talented players like Messi, Ronaldo, Pele, Maradona, Kaka, Ronaldinho, R9, Ozil, Neymar, Wayne Rooney, Van Nistelroy, Van Persie, Robben, prime torres and many others.

      @potxtoe@potxtoe3 жыл бұрын
    • @@potxtoe I will heavily disagree with you. You can ask any Dutchy who they think was a better player between van Nistelrooy or Sneijder, they will almost all say Sneijder. Great technique, vision, passing and please do not forget he could do it with both feet just as good! He owned the midfield in his prime and made Robben one of the best 'strikers' in the national team. Robben is my all time hero, he was born in my city. But without Sneijder in the national team he would not have been able to show his skills. You just have to look at the WC replays to see how many assists or defense destroying passes he gave, his passing was out of this world.. just like KDB etc. I would devo put him up there with all the legends, he deserves it. And if you really think he doesn't , please type his name in the search bar above and watch some video's of Ajax and our national squad, you will change your mind ;)

  • Good presentation. I remember when Wesley joined Real Madrid. In fact, I think he got injured in one of those silly preseason “tournaments”. He had a great run with Inter and the national team. His comparison to Cristiano & Messi is delusional. Hard work & dedication is a key component of greatness, which is why CR7 and Messi are living legends. Anyway, one player who was on par with Messi & Ronaldo was Diego Forlan. It would be cool if you did a video about Diego Forlan who was a scoring machine and did so without the support of an incredible team that Messi & Ronaldo had.
