  • He doesn't sing the song. He lives it completely. His range is surely amazing ...but it's how he sings it. His delivery, control and passion is without peer. Not to mention his stage presence, his physical beauty and his ability to capture his audience. From Kazakhstan. A living legend. He's 27, 6'3". Working on his Doctorate in music. And above all.....humble and appreciative of his fans...who he calls his Dears. Thank you for your reaction. We Dears couldn't agree more.

  • "love all types of music, different languages" you just found the ultimate rabbit hole and you will never be able to get out of it! Dimash sings everything from opera, pop, rock, traditional music to rap - actually quite often in one song combining whatever works to get the message of the song across and... in 12 different languages. I fell into this rabbit hole 5 years ago and are living there happily ever since.

  • Hi dear, I loved your reaction! :D A little about Dimash: He's from Kazakhstan, as ex soviet country. (that's why you'll see him singing in russian often :D) He practices and studies music since he was 5, is currently working on his doctorate. He's a handsome young man, 27 years old and 6'3 tall, as you saw. He sings in about 12 languages and in many different music genres (he gos from opera to rap lol) Answering your question, yes, he has his own music, they're all in his channel, you're gonna love it! :D He has a bunch of amazing performances (of covers and his own songs) like "sinful passion", "love is like a dream", "love of tired swans", "olympico", "passione","Know"... Pepare yourself! lol He's the most versatile and talented artist ever! Has songs with some Michael Jackson vibes too, one of his biggest idols. (check out "be with me") There's so much stuff for you to see from him! You're gonna be more and more amazed each time! :D

  • Dimash plays seven instruments, piano, dombra, drums, guitar, keyboard, marimba and bayan. He speaks Kazakh and Russian, and is studying English and Mandarin. He has performed songs in 12 different languages, Kazakh, Russian, English, Mandarin, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Serbian, Turkish, Ukrainian and Kyrgyz. When you react to videos, especially the Chinese ones, try to find the Gloria Wu versions for the best translations.

    @weavbo@weavbo2 жыл бұрын
    • A note about Gloria Wu videos. Just realize her videos of Dimash are modified due too copyright issues. She adjusts frequencies to prevent videos from being blocked. Watch her behind the scenes then switch to the original "The Singer" video to hear Dimash's true notes.

    • @@Myria83 she moves them a bit "off" the original notes. Hard to tell by ear unless you have perfect pitch like some vocal coaches who have noticed. The adjustment fools the copyright programs so they don't get blocked. It's a bit of a problem recommending the videos when you never know who has perfect pitch and it will seem "off" to them. It would seem as if Dimash is singing a bit off key which he is not.

  • April, Dimash is a gift to all of humanity. Your genuine reaction was so wonderfully emotional. As I have said for 3 years since the Chinese Singer series debut, this man tells a story in a language we don't know, but feel. He reaches into your soul, grabs hold, massages it, then transforms you. You realize there is good in this world. It took awhile to learn why myself and others react to him this way... he heals. He has a key to everyone's soul and tears the protective veneer off covering those old heartaches... he heals. Enjoy the ride since it is life changing. Try Sinful Passion for dynamics and story telling, try Love is Like a Dream for low range and angelic alto soprano, then try Ogni Pietra (Olympico) for pop opera that is enthralling. There are many others. Keep reacting with your innocense and a million "Dears" will follow you. Isn't life fun?

  • Great reaction to King Dimash Kudaibergen,he’s the G.O.A.T ,he’s from Kazakhstan (a country in Central Asia The used to be part of Russia),he’s fluent in Kazakh and Russian but has sang in 12 languages including English( he’s still learning and now almost fluent).Dimash is a singer, songwriter and multi instrumentalists,has a vocal range from A2 to D8, he’s able to hit low notes like Vocal Fry and high whistle notes but he’s a lot more than such range vocal control,air control,agility,stage presence,mic technique and the ability to make feel the music even if don’t speak the language his song ,he another level he also loves to mix different genres of music mostly Pop and Opera calls it Popera but also mixes others Jazz, R&B, Rock, Rap , Folklore Kazakh and even sometimes makes his voice sound like an instrument 🤯. Please continue with his performances of the amazing Russian songs of Opera 2 and Sinful Passion follow by his his performance in English ( he knew very basic English at the time,he learned this song phonically in less than a week) Queen’s The Show Must Go On ,then the very emotional Chinese song Autumn Strong (check Gloria Wu Behind the scenes version for Explanations on lyrics,story and English subtitles. Then react to his cover of Adagio at Singer 2017 ( This song is also in English and is pure passion performance,also check original singer Italian Laura Fabian) Some many amazing performances they all 🤯 your mind. Here a list of my some of favorites in no particular order I’ll put in what they are and which performances to do in my opinion: All by Myself ( Singer 2017 and Eurasia Festival) Lionel Richie Hello sang by Dimash at Singer 2018. Earth song duet Dimash feat Victor Ma. Queen Medley with Super Vocal Boys at Singer 2019. Side note The Singer is a Chinese realty show ,this where Dimash became famous he got invited in 2017 to participate as a Wildcard,he was unknown in China and after his performance of SOS became famous overnight,needed bodyguards,he first album in China went Triple Platinum in 30 seconds of release,yes you could it in Apple Music,Spotify,etc.This show is only for Professional singer most from China and so much better than your typical Got Talents and The Voice,Live Music,no playback,no auto tune,there a winner every week choosing by the audience they vote for their favorite performances,the Singer with the most weeks won,is the overall winner Dimash came in second place but only because at the time in 2017 the rules said the only a Chinese professional singers could win after several angry complaints and demands the rules were change for the 2018 The Singer where Jessie J a was invited and became the overall winner.All singer are given different challenges each week like singing different genres of music and or languages they sing on,they have a week to prepare and change the arrangements of the songs. Mademoiselle Hyde sang in English Olympico ,Italian Masterpiece composed by famous Russian composer and Pianist Igor Krustoy,he came out of retirement to work with Dimash,he made this song specially for Dimash’s voice for the European Games in 2019 react to Arnau concert performance. Diva Dance this is literally the impossible song created for the Sci-fi movie Yge Fifth Element ,In the movie it was made for an Alien to sing and specially produced the way by a super computer Dimash sing it to Perfection in unbelievable check the performances at Bastau Concert and his duet with Chinese Opera singer Li Yugang ( another 🤯singer) Drunken Concubine + Diva Dance. Give me your love ( A Dimash original and Tribute to the King of Pop,one of Dimash idol Michael Jackson) Screaming (another original song) check the music video and live performance at Idol Hits (this song is in English. The Loved of Tired Swans (I love the music video of this song) Know Love is Like a Dream (Russian song another of Igor Krustoy beautiful songs) Across Endless Dimensions (Italian Sciv-Fi Movie soundtrack sang in English) The Power Rangers Theme song;Dimash sang it for the Asian dubbed version of the movie.(GO GO Power Rangers) Daididau Kazakh song original was a poem again check Gloria Wu channel for full story and English subtitles and also Bastau concert performance. Daybreak very emotional beautiful Chinese song check Gloria Wu channel and also Bastau concert performance. Here a most complete list of all Dimash songs ,I have found online dimashdq.blogspot.com/p/dimashs-song-list.html?m=1

  • Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that, his voice is a prodigy of nature and a genetic marvel since his parents are two glories of singing from Kazakhstan since he was 5 years old, he sings publicly and has more than twenty years of lyrical training and graduated from the university of music, he is a singer, composer, arranger and multi instrumentalist, he plays more than seven musical instruments and sings in more than Ten(10) languages, he is also a great performer and a great artist who lives and feels music He is not an imitator of voices , Dimash has his own style and is one of the forerunners of the "POPera" he also has a very pleasant, HUMBLE and simple personality, easy access, which makes it very easy to follow, he always travels with His family and friends is a very educated person and an example to follow, he has become known for his musical talent not for getting into trouble or scandals, It has a very wide vocal range of approximately 7 octaves ,he is a singer with a wide vocal range very versatile is Baritone, TENOR , Soprano, counter TENOR, mezasoprano, everything at the same time is how to have 5 singers in one, it has a male and female voice, also many resources such as vibrato, "melismas", falsetto, Staccato,whistle tone, reaching a( D8 )live "Outside of Piano"at the concert of Gakku in an unforgettable day, at his young age he continues to improve and grow musically to perfection, he has a good physical presence he measures 191 cm or 6 "3", he is very famous and recognized in Asia and now he is becoming known In Europe and America, ALL their songs are spectacular, it always goes from low to high, soft to spectacular at the end, in my almost half a century of life I never heard so much quality and it is the hope of continuity of the classical genre because all the old tenors have already Almost all of them died and Dimash can sing like them but none of them can sing like Dimash, being a Man he sings better than any Tenor and his female voice is superior to that of any average Soprano, greetings and a hug from Venezuela🇻🇪, "Dears" Forever ❤️👍🏻 Sorry for copying and pasting my informative comment in ALL the Video reactions to Dimash what I see but I do it with the intention of sharing information about him and what I think that in the music industry there are many artists who have been successful and have no talent and are bad people and they do not set a good example for the youth, Dimash and his music deserve to triumph in America, Europe and the whole WORLD, do you want to have already read my comment please come by without problem there is always someone who for the first time knows this information and I won't get tired of sharing it with all my friends"Dear" around the world, thanks for reading and for supporting Dimash 🙏🏻S.O.S. • I only recently discovered Dimash after ignoring him in my KZhead recommendations for over a year. I figured he was just the latest pop "sensation" and I generally do not listen to that genre of music. I am almost embarrassed to admit that I have since watched hours upon hours of reactions to his various performances. I mostly watch reactions from professional vocal coaches, many with backgrounds in Opera. I came across your channel, and like you, I am absolutely amazed by his incredible talent, ability, vocal range and dynamics, his delivery, as well as his stage presence. You have barely even begun to scratch the surface of his talent and vocal ability. I am looking forward to your next reaction. By the way, some Dimash fans are almost cultic to the point of fanaticism and they get outright defensive and combative over any perceived criticism of their "object of worship." I am simply an admirer of good music and talent, regardless of genre, and do not count myself among the Dimash fanatics, but I am utterly amazed by him. From what I gathered, Dimash is from a very musical family and started singing and piano lessons at the age of five when he was found to have perfect pitch. He is university-educated with degrees in classical/opera, contemporary music, pop, and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical master’s class and has recently completed his Master's with a concentration in Composition; his thesis was titled: "Personal Image of Traditional Music". He graduated with Honours, achieving a perfect score of 100%. He is currently working towards his Ph.D. as he wants to teach music after his singing career. Dimash has diligently honed his craft and developed his God-given gift for more than 20 years now and it shows. I read somewhere that Dimash used to swim 3 hours every day to increase his lung capacity. It's not just raw natural talent but tremendous work, dedication, and discipline to achieve this level of performance. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a much-loved national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He was even offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is getting pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn. Dimash also plays six instruments; the piano, dombra, guitar, xylophone, cello, and drums. During his live concerts, he usually performs for more than two hours and treats his audience to an eclectic mix of styles. His range is about 7 octaves now and spans across all five registers from a rich bass-baritone through to an extremely high soprano and whistle register, and he seems to effortlessly navigate between them, often within a single breath. As you might already know, there are only 5 registers, from lowest to highest: vocal fry (pulse), chest voice, head voice, falsetto/flute, and whistle tone. Soprano is a vocal range and/or voice type - so Dimash can still sing the highest voice type, but he would be singing in that range using both his head voice and falsetto, and very occasionally whistle tone. He has even hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato, the highest note ever performed during a live performance. It has been recognized that his high notes are usually not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it’s spectacular. However, Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it.

    • Yaaaay I loved your description! Like you, I thought he was just another fad.. someone who could do voice tricks. Lol at the foolish thought!! I especially like that you point out that it's not how high or low but the quality of his voice itself. I always say ..Dimash has ONE voice, with complete control over his instrument. ONE voice ... HIS voice. Its unique in that he can make you feel every note right to your soul. Any emotion... complete utter ecstacy, devastating sadness, he can make you dance or stun you into silence. Anything... we are LITERALLY at his mercy. There never has been nor will be another like him, I'm confident of that. I know people are shook by his high notes... and they still thrill me as well Dears are a passionate bunch for sure... I think we are usually pretty aware of who is honestly reacting and innocently asking questions and are just genuinely stunned and who are just being snarky or just idiots...lol.

While in the midst of insomnia last week, I finally clicked on SOS. I have swan-dived into the Dimash rabbit hole and have listened to him nonstop since. I'm pretty jaded and rarely blown away. But Dimash is magical, confounding, and so beautiful. I'm not culty about it, but damn, he is an amazing talent and very interesting human being.

  • I will use the Google translator hoping for a good translation. In any case, I will also bring my text back to you in my mother tongue. I followed your reaction. You deserve me to explain to you who and what Dimash is. I will use words that I have also used for others. I'm Italian. I know the art of singing since I was born. Let's make the point right away: Dimash is not just good at this or that field, in this or that aspect, of singing. Dimash is the sound field. You have guessed the totality that is Dimash, but not quite. Following the ontological thread even before the logic of technical analysis, you still can't fully understand that here it is no longer just octaves, whistle register and even more than simple, immense, vocal technique. Dimash has a universal voice. To be clear, his voice is like what in biology is called a totipotent cell. In this sense it is a "stem voice". From this cell can be generated any type of tissue, what are commonly called musical genres. Its transitions are such that the transition no longer exists. Dimash does not sing the different genres (opera, pop, rock, also rap et cetera...). It's all genres already. In his case, musical genres are nothing more than a coloriture, an inflection, a declination, of his general voice. The same applies, of course, to all his voice records. This also leads to the fact that he sings easily in several languages. The different national languages are nothing more than determinations, sub-species, of its general sonority. Let me give you an example which is also a confirmation: Dimash has sometimes been criticized for not having devoted himself exclusively to the Opera. It was Dimash himself who declined the invitation to specialize in operatic singing. And this is perfectly consistent with its nature and value. Dimash is not only an operatic singer, neither just rock, nor just pop, nor anything specified and specific, simply because he is a "holistic" singer in both the philosophical and scientific sense of the term. Dimash is a "singing system" that is more than the sum of its own parts. She sings with her whole body. This fact does not only relates to technical considerations relating to the posture to be taken at different times and modes of singing. It is first and foremost that, as I said, in Dimash singing is equivalent to the whole organism. I suppose sooner or later this should have happened in someone. It happened in this Kazakh boy. In summary: The other singers, all the other singers, perform a song. Dimash executes himself. Having said that, I salute you. E’ già tutti i generi.

    • @@lisaroberts4391 I hope for a good translation. In any case, you will find at the end the text in my native language. Dearest Lisa, you don't have to apologize if you used a lot of words. When words have a soul, even reading a thousand pages of them is very welcome. A few months ago I lost my cousin, carried away by this damn virus. A very painful loss for me. He was more of a brother than a cousin. We grew up together, in two houses that were actually one house, as still happens, sometimes, in my Southern Italy. I do not allow myself to give you advice regarding pain management. I do not want to run the risk of abandoning myself to optimistic clichés . I will share with you, instead, a small experience of mine. Recently, by pure chance, I happened to listen to a song: Wrecked, by Imagine Dragons, an American group that you probably know. The singer, Dan Reynolds, wrote it and dedicated it to the memory of his sister-in-law, who died of cancer at the age of 39. I had the opportunity to listen to it with the Italian translation and I was very impressed. On youtube there is a very nice black and white cartoon version. In the official version of the group, a photo of Reynolds' sister-in-law eventually appears. That photo says it all about the inner beauty of the person. I recommend listening to this song because it speaks of the perennial pain caused by a serious absence but there is also a hint of hope. That hope that we believers have and cultivate to be able to see each other again one day. All together. I hug you. Tutti insieme. Ti abbraccio.

  • I have seen many other Dimash concerts live like this. People who traveled for hours to see him. In this concert that presents like many others all, or at least I felt, an electric wave that ran through my body. Something unimaginable that was close to us on a musical level or that could transport us to another dimension. The one to which God manifests himself or the one we think it is, will it be like this? I think yes. Which is by Dimash's voice. If God ever had a voice and gave someone a sound to manifest, it would be through Dimash's voice. I think Dimash's voice has the gift of God to make itself heard. I am not a believer but I started to believe so. There is something that ran through me in the body and that something is divine. Call it what you want, I believe that there may be something in certain beings today that may have that power. A hug, thanks for reacting to Dimash but ... you should hear it live. Te sugiero escuchar Stranger, Olímpico, Sinfull passion, Across endless dimensions, Oceans over the times, Requiem: The story of one Sky y todas las que puedas!

  • Love your reaction. This is basically how I felt the first time, too... It's this amazing feeling of being touched by beauty. Just experiencing the human potential is so inspiring and mindblowing. I'm kinda confused how you didn't react to anything else yet. Couldn't resist the urge and binged it all? 😂
