6 slices thick cut bacon, chopped into bite sized pieces
1 stick butter, melted (divided)
5-6 frozen waffles, slightly thawed
6 eggs
¼ cup mayonnaise
1 ½ cups heavy cream (divided)
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 cup diced ham

-Pour half of the butter in the bottom of a 12-inch skillet or Dutch oven. Tear the waffles in large pieces and place in the bottom of the skillet/Dutch oven to create a single layer. Pour the remaining butter on top of the waffles. Set aside.
-In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, mayonnaise and ½ cup of cream. Salt and pepper, to taste.
-Evenly top the waffles with the bacon and ham. Pour the egg mixture over the waffles.
-In a small bowl mix together the gravy packets, water and remaining 1 cup of heavy cream until smooth. Pour over the waffle casserole.
-If cooking indoors, bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes, or until it springs back to the touch and is lightly browned.

In a world of mostly stress, haste and conflict, your videos are the highlight of my average day. Thank you.
Thank you for taking time to watch
Best comment ever. beautiful : )
Amen!
Damn right. I love these videos. Thanks for allowing me to decompress.
Absolutely! The strangest thing happens when I watch Kents videos.........I get happy :) . Love your videos, Kent!
I thank God that there are people like you in this country who are still proud to be American, and are not shy to voice it! GOD BLESS YOU!!!🇺🇸
I never take a day for granted and thank God for each one, thanks for watching and God bless the USA
This man is definitely one of the most wholesome men in the world.
Thank you so Fransico much for watching
He makes my Canadian day more continental. Yeay international cooking
EXCELLENT! I just cooked this for 11 campers who would be on the river all day. I have a reputation for being a very capable camp cook but THIS one got me seriously rave reviews! Light and fluffy, filling and very flavorful. A very nice change from a traditional thick, heavy "egg bake" type breakfast. I used a combination of sausage, ham & bacon. Took about 25-30 minutes to cook in a standard 12" dutch oven. (an extra 5 minutes to really crisp up the top) Will DEFINITELY be making this recipe again (by crowd request). Next time I'm making two though!
The only way this could be more American is if he lit the fire with a Kentucky Rifle and had a bald eagle sitting on his hat.
That actually happens but off camera.
agreed !
bro, that was at 2:24
Haha this is one of my favorite comments
Just discovered your fantastic vids. Love your food & love your style. 60 years old and going to buy my first skillet . . gotta start somewhere. All the best from the UK 🇬🇧
"spooning apparatus" = spoon "whiskilator" = whisk "gravy concoction mixture" = gravy
Lol! (:
Kackleberry = egg
Glass of whiskey and a few of these videos is all I need to wind down after a day. Thanks for educating us and doing what you do!
Thanks for watching
If we have more people like this in every family, the world will definitely be a better place
As a 100% Disabled Vietnam Veteran I say “Thank You for remembering our Military and Veterans”! Not many do that little remembrance.
Thanks Bob for watching and thanks for your service
Thank you, Bob
Thank you for all your service! God bless you!
Bob Wieters God Bless you Bob, and thank you from the bottom of my heart!!
Had family in all the wars including Vietnam so I never forget...ever. Bless you sir.
This warms my cold English heart, that food looks amazing. Sending some good vibes from here in the UK :D
Thank you for watching and some day I'm coming to visit
BANHEAD1990 me too...
@@CowboyKentRollins I think you'll appreciate aspects of English countryside. Maybe give Norfolk a try in the summer.
@@onsp1318 The English countryside my sister in law has shown me in pictures is gorgeous.
Yeah just stay away from those big grim cities.
I love this dude. He’s a dying breed trying to keep it all alive. I love it
Love your laid back thank the Lord today attitude! Raising people's spirits!
Thanks Wayne
His personality and attitude reminds me of Bob Ross
“Cackleberries” is a much better word than “eggs”!
For sure
Always heard rooster bullets!
"Hen fruit"
I am Lion Man Boneless chicken.
I learned by teachers in my highscool years; that you NEVER refer to a womans reproductive parts with that word! NEVER even let them hear you say cackleberry in reference to ovaries - no one helps you then, they just laugh and go about business. I was a kid from NYC trying to fit in Springdale, arkansas. 😓
Man, the place where you are looks amazing, and that food incredible. I'm kind of tired of the city. Respect from Mexico.
Thank you so much for watching, it is one of my favorite places to cook
@@CowboyKentRollins hey kent you should do a series of Biker food for those of us that ride iron horses brother! Please
This is what is missing in today s world. Just great.
Sure enough, folks need to take time to cook and invite the neighbors over
Made this in the great outdoors and it was great. Your tri-tip sandwich sauce is from Heaven. God Bless you brother.
Glad you enjoyed it and God bless you
I'm not sure what I find the most awesome about you Kent, and also Shannon... your incredible cooking, your support of the military and our veterans, or your love for God. I've long thought of myself as a chef, and maybe I am, but I couldn't hold a candle to you! I have found my home, even if I have to watch your cooking videos and be there in spirit. God bless you both richly!
Thank so much Ron for the kind words and for watching, God bless you as well
Every time you use that Dutch oven, my day is brighter :)
Thanks so much
Cooking With Ry; Ain't that the truth! Whenever I get a notification of another Kent Rollins video, why my ol heart commences to do the happy dance. Thanks Kent, Shay and, the Beagle for another Award winning classic recipe. The wife and I appreciate ya'll very much. Adios amigos till next time. Stan
mine is smellier...
That ole oven has sure got some on it
Made this at the cabin this last weekend. It was a hit with the grand-kids. Knew it would be, a fire and dutch oven makes everything better.
So glad everyone enjoyed and thanks Danny for watching
I like how they say to use a store bought waffle. I appreciate the practical nature of the recipes and not expect us to make a waffle from scratch
1st time we tried your recipe. Did it in an oven with a cast iron. It came out so fluffy and moist. Looking forward to many more adventures with your recipes. God bless you and Shannon
Thanks Debora for watching
Kent seems like a salt of the earth type 💖
I could watch your videos all day but I have to get some work done! I’m a British Army veteran of 22 years and I think it’s amazing how Americans regard there armed forces. Love your one pot cooking.
People like yourself is what make this country so amazing... 🇺🇸 🇬🇾
Thanks
We used to do something similar in boy scouts. We used biscuits and added hash browns. Good times and great grub.
Just inherited my dads 12" oven. I know the first thing I'm cooking in it!!!!
Hope you enjoy
Make him feel proud.
This was my first recipe of yours that I tried. We were camping recently in 30 degree weather in Big Bend Ranch State Park. It fed 5 hungry 20ish year olds and my 60 year old butt with a hot, filling and FUN breakfast that made standing around the fire and watching that 12" oven on a cold morning a special time with my kids. Thanks for warming the hearts and bellies. Next time, I'm going to add some salsa to top it off... This IS Texas! ;-)
Thanks Dorian for watching and Happy New Year to you
I'm a... not a city slicker, but I am not from the country. I'm from the cold north of NorthWest Indiana, and I love getting these recipes. I know the day I can cook up all these dishes, I will be a happy, happy man. Mostly cuz it's easy, beautiful and delicious looking and I love eating.
Thank you so much for watching
If my grandma was a cowboy, she would cook like you K.R. 😁
I had to do a double take, dang near fell out of the chair. I though you said look like not cook like.
“Mayo spooning apparatus”...I love this guy!
This guy is awesome,
Thanks
Kudos to your wife for the amazingly steady shots. And all with a phone no less.
Hard to beat an iPhone
I've just discovered my new favorite KZheadr, Cowboy Kent Rollins.
Thanks so much
"Kent and Shan", we need more and more people like you and your crew today. Thank you for blessing us with this fine food video. :) This is great.
Thanks so much and God bless you
I don't believe I've found a video I haven't enjoyed. Kent your style reminds me of camping with my dad. I miss those good old days. Keep it up, it keeps me hungry!
Thanks for watching
I poured some maple syrup on top of the waffles then all the other ingredients, it added a little salty/sweet taste to it
I madeit too! Used syrup pour it on each slice on plate Wonderful!
I made this camping this weekend! It was so good! People were coming over from other camp sites to see what smelled so good. Thank you for this recipe! Will definitely be making it many times again
Thank You Kent & Shannon. My mouth is waterin'. Your cookin' brings me back home to my younger days. GOD BLESS YOU BOTH & GOD BLESS AMERICA.
Thanks so much and God bless you and the USA
I second that!!
The more I watch this guy the better my own cooking gets
Thanks to you and Shannon for sharing your time and talents. Appreciate your acknowledgment of our American heroes, both those serving and all who have served. Another great recipe to try out .
Thanks Rosemary we owe them so much
Blessed by Kent Rollins with another fine breakfast/brunch dish. Man, that looked awesome Kent. You need to film Shannon tasting it too... we don't get to see enough of that sweet little Lady! God Bless you all.
Thanks my friend, I will sure tell her
Kent: Watching you cook is the highlight of my day because there ain't a dern thing better than down-home cooking.
He reminds me of the Bob Ross of cooking and I love him just the same. ❤️
Thanks for watching
you know Kent, I think your show maybe the best cooking show around now.
This just turned up in my Recommends: I'm not even halfway through and I'm already a fan :)
Thank you for watching
Hi Kent, hi Shan, you are both wonderful people. Thank you for another great recipe, I really want to try this one, it looks great. Also, I say thank you for your gratitude to your service men and women. I am one too, here in Australia, I started as a reserve infantry soldier, then changed to Air Force as an avionics technician type. I have served for nearly 29 years now, and I feel deeply moved when anyone has any respect or appreciation for the work that we do. I do not think many people realise the military today spends a significant amount of our time on humanitarian missions, food supply, disaster relief, also rescuing people in danger. We join to serve our country. Mine is Australia, but we are allies, the USA is our best friend here. Kent and Shan, God bless you both.
Thanks Tony so much for watching and for your service
Just came across your channel and subscribed. It’s refreshing to see someone doing these How To Cooking Videos actually taking the time to teach others and not just throwing some package product together and call it a day! This I appreciate!!! Side Note I cook almost exclusively with cast iron and some that are almost 50 years old. Love your maintenance videos on cast iron.
Thanks for watching and it is the best thing to cook with
Hey Kent, it just don’t get no better than this. By the time I finished fixin and cooking, I was famished and ready to eat me some,I was, when my grandkids showed up. They enjoyed it and I enjoyed my one bite, next time I’ll do me a double batch so I can get fuller than a tick on a hound dog’s ear! Thank you
Thank you for watching John and glad yall enjoyed
This man reminds me of a leather worker I had kind of adopted as a grandfather. He taught me alot things during an unstable time of my life, although it's been years since I've seen him, I see a some of him in you Kent. Keep on cookin, Cowboy!
Thanks I'm honored

He couldn't do it. Lol!
Yeah when he said it's a little lite around the bottom like his wife or something like that 😂😂 😂
Haven't we all done that one
A many a fools would of swallered that lol
These videos of Kent's are the perfect way to find your get up and go if it got up and went. 😀
I'm a bit late commenting, but a while back I taught a Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation (BALOO) course to a group of about 25 new scout leaders. On the second morning, I showed this video and then broke the class into groups, having them all make some as a way to feed everyone and to satisfy the outdoor cooking part of the class. We ended up going through 6 Dutch ovens full that morning with no leftovers....so I'd call it a win! (We also made your cowboy coffee). Thank you for sharing all your wonderful recipes. I make lots of them on campouts.
Made it this morning in the campground, added some cheese just because...turned out amazing, thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed
Alright, I actually LOL’ed at the beginning when I saw the pop tarts.
same I spit my water out hope he chucked them in the fire later
Grew up around men and women like you, my heart is bursting good Sir. Texas born and raised, your knowledge and vocabulary is recognized from a kindred spirit.
Thanks Robert for watching
Sir I absolutely love and look forward to your videos that come out! Keep up the great work!
These recipes look so good I don't think it would be easy to share it with anybody!
Thanks Kent! This is one of my favorite camp breakfasts! I'm making it this weekend at our Boy Scout campout just for the adult leaders! When the boys make their menu and it sounds like something they're going to screw up or not very appetizing I'll usually make something for the grown ups just in case! I've made it several times and it's always been a big hit! I appreciate all you do!
Kent your videos just flat out make me happy 😊
thanks for remembering vets and service men & women
Thanks for watching we owe them so much
I like the different concoctions you come up with. Such a wonderful imagination and out of this world cooking skills. Thank y’all!

Thanks Brent
Thanks for sharing Kent, Shan and the beagle. God bless ya! 🇺🇸
Thanks and God bless you as well
I sure do enjoy your videos. I found this one a week after Easter, I have never commented on a KZhead video before, but Kent, your story touched my heart. As a Midwest farm boy I've had dreams of the cowboys ways, as a truck driver running all over out west I've gained a huge respect for the people who risked it all to settle such a rugged land. Your videos get my mind drifting off to that time in life. God bless you and Shan, keep up the good work!!
Hi Kent and Shannon, I been a fan for around 3 years now an try to never miss any of your YT vids. I own both your books, the original and mesquite seasonings and utensils and use them daily. The type of food you produce is the kind I like to eat. What I'm trying to say is thank you to you both and the rest for bringing such happiness to this old boy from the UK. Sending joy and blessings from us to you. Joe
3:00 "we got no spoon" *in his back pocket* story of my life
That wasn't a spoon, it was a small wire microphone.
Thanks for keeping the American way of life alive and well. Thx KR.

Great breakfast!!!
Kent Rollins making your bacon, Ham, egg, waffle bake for supper. I love this meal. It's one of my most favorite recipes to make at camp or home. Breakfast or supper. Never a complaint.
Hope you enjoyed
@@CowboyKentRollins always do.
I just revived your cookbook. you didn't warn me of the lack of sleep it will cause. aside from the wonderful recipe you have listed, I loved your stories so much I couldn't put the book down. I just love the old cowboy ways, and life style. I was reading the recipe for your meatballs. A thought for you to maybe try. I like to add mozzarella cheese to the mixture , the cheese makes the meatballs so moist. God bless, you and Thank you both for the great cookbook and stories. I hope some day to meet the both of you. Andrew Johansen
Thanks Andrew for watching and we are so glad you are enjoying the cookbook
I have tried a few recipes from this channel and most came out really good, except the caveman steak I burn that one so bad even the dog didn't want it. This channel is the reason I got a cast iron skillet and all of their recipes work in them both at home and camping. Now I don't plan to get a burning hot box because I going get one as an in-law soon enough but the way you two show how to cook is perfect for camping and needs just a little twirl to cook in the kitchen. Look forward to more videos!
All your basic food groups! Nice job Kent!!
Yall are amazing! Hugs!
What a great recipe! I made this for new years day breakfast with some Texas toast on the side and man it's amazing. Thanks for all the recipes and the good hearted entertainment Kent. A happy new year to you, Shan, and the beagle!

Cowboy Kent, your my cooking 🍳 hero!!! I love watching you
I’m going to make this for my family with homemade waffles instead. Thanks for the recipe, I’m always looking for new recipes for breakfast meals!
Thank you Laura for watching
Yummy! 😃
Thank you Kent, Shannon and the pups for another great recipe! Looking forward to trying it when I get back in a place of my own. Thanks.
