A change in weight can make the world's difference, it's worked for many, Whittaker, Strickland, Cruz etc. Maybe he can put a run together in the aging welterweight division, a lot of the top guys are encroaching on 40.

Luque's a different guy after the brain hemorrhage from Geoff Neal. He's been one of my favorite fighters at WW the past five years, but hes a different guy now. As a fan of his it's hard to accept, but this is the nature of the game.

Why would you take a step back and fight Holland ? The idea is to get to the top. By that Logic Mcgregor should have tried to run it back with Joseph Duffy even though he far surpassed him at that point they both to the UFC.
