For the chat, there are plug-ins. Chat filter is the one that you'd want, as it's a plug-in it works on any server. Now chat filter has the ability to mute chat automatically. It's a set and forget.
Still have never used plug-ins. Maybe some day I will.

@@matthewhawes9301 Eventually yes, it will be, along with all the other builds from Small Grid Only. I'm planning to make a workshop collection for SGO, but it's low on my priority list so don't hold your breath.
Due to voxel deformations, building your base in a mountain area in a way that doesn't deform voxels at all is a great idea. If you start out dirtying up an area with mine entrances, move your base as far away as you can... I'd say a minimum of 20km away on the surface. It's a large enough distance that most people hunting noobs will just move-on rather than search 1256+ sq km.
Yeah, pretty much any time you dig it's visible from space. Larger holes are more obvious, but even the small ones can be spotted. If you're living on a planet (or anywhere) I recommend a mobile base. Mine and move. Your grid will only be visible if it's spawned in, which usually happens around 3km or less. Hiding underground won't help with this, because they still get the "streaming" circle and will know you're nearby. They can triangulate you with it. If you dig deep enough that your grid doesn't spawn in then you have a huge hole which will show up from the moon. Only time I've ever found underground to be good is on a private server where only NPCs attacked.

Hahah, just for this trip. I've used drill blocks everywhere else. I wasn't planning on using any hydrogen, other than to get to space and back, but I had a hard time finding uranium at the shops. In retrospect I should have just slapped a drill on the bottom of the Dawn. Maybe that needs to be on the upgrade list.

I'll be publishing ships to the workshop as I retire them. (Which I will have to do eventually in order to make new ones. The server has a PCU limit)

@@DmytroBogdan Ha, that's probably most people at this point. It has been over a year since I recorded all of Season 1. When I start season 2, and I very much plan to, hopefully I'll be able to keep up with the editing. I've learned a lot over the past year, so it should be better.
