Now we need New England and Chicago to make their own stadium

New England just announced a new stadium they're planning to build, still waiting on Chicago though.

Nice to see football taking off properly finally in the USA
Football has been big in the since the 2010, the problem is how media treat football in the USA . They don’t get the same level of mainstream coverage as the other sports, because older generations don’t get or understand the sport and they dominate sports media because a lot of new popularity of football grew through the the fifa video game that taught the younger generations about football
Wen played college soccer 2010-2014, I couldn’t imagine the sport would come such a long way in such a short time frame.. Soccer will be #1 sport in America after the next world cup
About damn time.
Come on New York!!!
COYBIB! Vamos Celestes! 🗽⚽
So happy we got the stadium, but such a heartbreak that it’s going to be all the way in Queens.
I dont know where they found the room for this. but it looks nice
If you've visit CitiField for a baseball game, you would have seen lots of space there
COME ON NEW YOOOOORRRRKKK!!!!
Seems shortsighted to make the capacity so small. I dont think theres any plans for a potential expansion to the stadium either but I could be wrong. Not that they have to expand but they should at least make it an option in their future. Regardless its a really nice stadium and glad to see NYFC actually be able to play in their own stadium and not on a baseball field lmao.
LETS GO NEW YORK NYCFC
NYCFC will have made it if fans are waiting for a Shake Shack burger inside the stadium and miss the first half lol
Thank God! they took the team out the Bronx🎉
Yassssss can't wait!!!!! ⚽️💪
A step in the right direction in order to build a real football culture.
If Nashville can do 30,000, NYC can do 40,000
No they can't. nyc has zoning laws that are stricter than Nashville
@@lorenzoroman7952 i figure.
Wow, soccer has come a long way in the USA if they approved this...
They're a little late now. They should have started development for a NYC stadium when world cup was announced in north america. 25k capacity is pretty small too tbh. They should be challenging the met life stadium
Better late than never
Mayor Adam's claims this is gonna benefit every New Yorker. I don't see how. I'm from Manhattan, I can't stand soccer and I hate Queens.
Waste of money. Style over substance. They can play at Yankee Stadium or Citi for free.
BING BONG!!!!!!
Valley of Ashes? Anyone from Queens knows that area as the Iron Triangle. GTFOH.
Hey Brad, try not calling the "new neighborhood" theyre going to build on a toxic wasteland... lol JESUS
The only new york mls team in New York 😅😊😊
25.000 seats. Still at baby steps 😪
This will be good for the area, the red bulls are too far away for most new yorkers and NYCFC playing in a baseball stadium is stupid, this will make the game more watchable. I wonder if the tickets will be affordable and easy to get to. That's what got me into MLS in the early 2010s, the affordability of the tickets
excellent bope boston is next
All us New Yorkers know how incredibly hard it is to get a stadium built in the city 🗽. But with that said it is an absolutely *lame design.* Should’ve hired the best stadium 🏟️ Architects out there!!!
It does resemble a basketball arena on the outside but I’m sure they were restricted on what they can do. Still very nice looking
It should be a 32,000 seater, too much soccer fans in Long Island and queens
By limiting seating they can crank up the prices. This is a common stadium pricing strategy particularly regarding soccer here in the US. For the really big matches they can always use an NFL stadium like they'll do for the World Cup.
@@krumbleme2 true, but true soccer fans love a great atmosphere, but business is business 💰
@@donfrossa1432 yes, the stadium should be bigger especially for a prime location like New York City. Money seems to be the priority though.
Biggest myth is that there are so many soccer fans that the stadium should be bigger. There are more soccer fans yes, but not MLS fans. I can’t tell you how many hardcore soccer fans I know but they won’t bother with MLS. 25000 is the right size in this phase of American soccer. As far as Nashville and other cities having more seats; Did you ever consider that those cities have less competition for their entertainment dollar?

Time to step up your "AAA" game, Red Bull New York! Your "A" won't cut it anywhere else.
It’s a real shame that mls teams suck. I’d like to see Man City play a premier league game against a top rival in this new stadium
Genial but not happening.
All Star NY Weekend for sure
Give it time, this is a proper country with proper fans
they desperately need to scrap the salary cap, dp rules, and add promotion relegation. the salary cap is the main thing, theyve made it literally illegal to sign good players except a few dp's, it makes literally no sense. i think the idea is that it gives more chance for americans to develop but i think the league being far more competitive would be much better for development. russia does the same thing where it only allows russian players in its league and wheres the russian national team?
@@MattMajcan It makes total sense if you're old enough to remember NY Cosmos and Ft Lauderdale Strikers as well as Miami Fusion FC and Tampa Bay Mutiny
