BTW, for anyone curious, you can calculate the distance from the bridge any fret should be with this: scale length/2^(x/12). X is the fret number. Also, you can subtract this result from the scale length to get the distance from the nut. For example, on a 25.5 inch scale guitar, to find the first fret, just type into the calculator 25.5/2^(1/12), and it's about 24.07 inches away from the bridge or 1.43 away from the nut. Anyway, great video!
Please, don't complicate things unnecessarily.
thats about as simple as it gets lol, unless you just google all of them
@@dan_kay its a pretty simple formula, there's way worse things taught in physics classes
@@dan_kay this formula is incredibly simple and easy to understand, not sure how you could consider this complicated, unless you failed math in high school lmao

I'd love to see a second attempt not bound by a time constraint. Honestly though it's impressive you guys got a functional guitar in one day with no prior knowledge of building guitars.
I love that the humbucker is permanently wired as a single coil. Watching the soldering was the most painful part, possibly more painful than the eye gouger fret.

"The least comfortable and least enjoyable instrument I've ever played" - coming from a dude with a shovel guitar this really means something.
At least the shovel doesnt have sharp edges
