We all want Jack to wear eye protection when welding. His videos are fantastic and clever and entertaining. He is always so cheerful! We don’t want anything bad to happen.
No eye protection when welding? Man, mechanic Jacks going to end up being Blind Jack soon
Its called blind weld. You close your eyes before each weld
He close his eyes before each weld...
Well I'm not the only one who noticed that .. I mean how much could a visor cost ?
Just worry about him restoring the car ok?
It's ok I closed my eyes when watching it
The amazing part is finding all those brand new back panels
fyi its prob where their made remember fine print where you sign parts will be replaced with o.e. or like quality...well guess what its simular quality..taiwan..china..argentina..will fit but ya gotta work at it
東風 manufacture Nissan in China so they got all parts.
Not really, it’s a relatively new car and it’s still being made. Hell even if you were some shadetree mechanic doing this in a field to a ‘99 LeSabre, you could buy a wrecked one with a front end impact and lobbing the back off of it. The real amazing part is putting it all together since that’s all structural and was never meant to be segmented in the first place.
@@Poopsticle_256 I agree with you til the last sentence.
Jack is amazing, not the parts or the fact that they exist. Manufacturers bang out thousands of extra cars in parts for each run. Big ones, anyway.
You guys restored the car in 4 min. would have taken me 4 years
This is probably true when apply to tavarish
Craiglist listing: "Minor fender bender, drives like new!"
Comes with EZ steer system where you let go of the wheel and it changes lanes for you.
And with as well as this one was repaired, I’d drive it confidently.
All cars are put together he’s literally doing it like they do in factory
More like never crashed always garaged
Lmfao.
Its great that people do this but unfortunately the chassis cannot be pulled back and perform safely as before the crash. This applies to future driving dynamics and crash worthiness.
Yep, it's now unsafe warped garbage. Cars get tottaled out by insurance for a reason.
Some of you keyboard warriors have no clue aye
When compared with the Chinese manufactured vehicles crash tests... she's cherry!
since there exepciones if the manufacturer and all data what rocomiendan and only sectioning parts you can do not all manufacturers recommend all depends on the type of metal is
They don't show straightening the frame on the pins for this car. No good otherwise
I'm pretty sure it was cheaper to fix this car and put it back on the road. I know a few countries where vehicle tax is insane. Can you imagine buying a camry for 80k or even 100k? Well in some parts of the world that's what they cost, because the government dosen't allow or want more vehicle to be on the road.
I was just about to say this. Not only that but the fact that the cost of labor in some countries is so low that the cost-benefit to repairing versus replacing is actually viable.
In Brazil, the corolla (equivalent to camry here) is about 140k.
Like I agree with high taxation in some country, but the reason for it is not to have less cars on the roads (maybe except for Sweden).
Agreed! One of the countries is the Philippines and most south East Asian neighbors
People avoid income tax and hence indirect taxes specially on price brackets average ones can not afford.
Amazing how he takes apart the damaged panels, seems like he does most of his work with little regard for self safety. Would like to know where and how he learned to do body work.
Mechanic Jack excellent workmanship but were is your ppe equipment eg your welding helmet you need your eyes to do your job use the welding helmet your you will go blind all the best keep the videos coming from jim the plumber queanbeyan nsw Australia.
I think this should be warning to everyone when buying a used car.."clean carfax, no accidents"
This would most definitely show up on a Carfax, it was severe structural damage. Insurance and police were probably involved. But that's why you should check a car carefully.
lol thats one of my favorites clean car fax what a joke
A clean car fax doesn’t mean anything. Many accidents and repairs never reported, will not show up on Carfax. CHECK THE CAR INSTEAD!
I love how he is getting out of the wreck, every time with a smile on his face as it was a 4 minutes job 😄
Generally I wear a shield when I mig weld
Who needs the eyes in 10 years...
I think it took him a day and a half, Who has time for a face shield🙄😆
I have never seen such parts being available. He has the right contacts and knows the job very well. Well done professionals.
Nothing professional about it...there is no way that thing would be squared up. If for some reason you had to repair a car as badly damaged as that, at the very least it should be repaired on a factory approved laser alingnment system, or jig. Structurally, it would be compromised. The mounting points for the rear suspension would be all out of alignment. You can make anything fit if you belt it hard enough with a sledge hammer. And I speak from over 40 years in the crash repair buissness.
Great work from BLIND JACK! Who used to be a mechanic 🤦
That is truly impressive. I would actually be confident in driving that car if I saw the entire rebuild process.
you guys are awesome..car looks great like it never happened...such talent..awesome job..
No wonder the other countries are so productive, he rebuilt the back half of the car im like 5 minutes.... imagine what can be accomplished in 10 hour work days!
Nice job. In many ways it’s a shame repairs like that aren’t economically viable in my country. Here cars are “totalled” sometimes even for paint issues, bad dents, simple stuff.
Hi Mechanic Jack's Team, I think you just show the bodywork, I think there was required to install a new rear axle and several other technical components, you are not going to send the car out on the road like this, a list of required parts would be nice for the viewers, bodywork looks professional as soon as we can see on the vids, greetings from germany
Excelentes profesionales!! Excelencia a la máxima potencia! 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
My friend im not sure where you learned to do framework and bodywork also. You are Rockstar. Incredible work. No measuring system. You are the man
He knows what he is doing. Very good on the job
Awsome job with smile. Don’t change. Félicitation from France 🇫🇷
God damn thought it was gonna be one of those "restoration videos" where they just chuck some Bondo on it and call it good, but you did it all by the book which is a feat all on it's own especially since it was all done by one man. 10/10 best restoration video out on KZhead.
I need to work harder. If only everyone was this skilled.
Son expertos en la industria AUTOMOTRIZ MUY BUEN TRABAJO AUTÉNTICO DE FABRICA SE MERECEN UN 100%100
Nice music selection ! Hope the western world and all the asian countries can stand united sometime in the future !
It looks easy when you know what to do. I've always liked to watch professionals doing their Job. 🙂
When you know what you are doing, you won't feel mentally drain and tired. Many DIY projects drain me mentally.
Straordinario davvero! Complimenti 👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great work Jack appreciate it 👍👍👍👍👍
Wow - almost anything can be fixed, with the right set of hands working on it. 👍
Amen to that !!!
more important is the right tools
@@hardikeywan9930 maybe not always with the right tools because some jobs can get done with a different tool, both will have the same outcome
You do awesome work,a true professional.
Amazing work Jack if you lived in the UK 🇬🇧 you would earn a lot of money
good job guys, i wish there were more mechanics that fix thing not just change parts
Just a scratch. No big deal. Excellent work.
Muito bom! O Jack entende !!
Good job. Congratulations
We have these devices in the industry called ... measuring tools. They're designed for you to be able to accurately monitor the direction and accuracy of the pull. And eliminate all the guesswork... of trying to figure out whether or not, you did the job properly. Not to mention... Give you the ability to accurately predict... How much that repair is really going to cost. But you don't have to trust me... I just did the same job, with the measuring tools, for over 20 years. Don't get me wrong... I admired the way that you tackled the direct damage in that vehicle. But what about the indirect damage? What's your guarantee, that cars going down the road straight? I don't care what shape you're in, or how you do the job that's it. But the laws of physics to apply. And they don't discriminate against anyone. Perhaps you should use this as the little green lizards training video. Seeing how, he doesn't accurately repair cars either.
Indirect damage?? I wonder what hapend to the whole structure...they focus only at the back damage. Anyway, what do they mean by TOTAL DAMAGE..in my country...total damage cannot be restored..it must be scraped. It seams every damage has its own degree (%) of damage until total loss... I am not a mechanic, not insurance people, not a teacher related to auto industry.. but something wrong when a vehicle claim to be total loss can be restored... Anyway I like the mechanic guy..always smile when that car going up to that ramp...like nothing is imposible to repaired...😅
mine has laser beams and sht cool huh. y a good 3d measuring system to verify the rest of the vehicle would be nice. i wouldn't worry about the lizard they don't fix cars the shops do hence all the liability is on the shop. never fall for the we don't pay for that nonsense. either they pay to fix it per oem or tell them to haul it out of the shop.
Hi, i am from Brasil. Muito lindo seu trabalho. Assisto porque você está sempre sorrindo.
Mechanic Jack is no hack - that is a super nice frame/unibody table, especially the way it clamps the front 3/4 of this car.
Yeah this is definitely a step above the ole back yard polish of a scrap turd.
Um verdadeiro artista
You don’t think he imagine thinking he fix the car the moment he turn on the welding equipment and turn blind to both eyes XD
This is the most Satisfying video I have ever watched in my life
Shame it wasn't in 1080p or at least 720p
Hi, To reduce the number of making welding, there must be some rings welded in main part of the vehicle. This way, the mechanics can easily fixed the cars after accidents. Thank you,
Impressive! Hungarian mechanics could learn from this
Everyone's obsessed with safety these days but I got to hand it to you that's really being proficient at being able to repair and reuse something at a very extreme level. Almost to no one is this capable. Extreme recycling
You ever welded without a mask ? I did it once and had to go to hospital it had burnt my eyes felt like my eyes were full of sand the pain was unreal aswell
You can't recycle your eyes after years of welding without a mask. Screw the car, get this man some PPE for god's sake.
Plenty of people are capable of this type of repair. It doesn’t get done in a lot of countries because it is illegal. It is illegal because too many people that are capable decide to take shortcuts to save labour and put the integrity of the car at risk, therefore the safety and people’s lives. I thought this was obvious. I would assume you have little to no knowledge on the industry
Splendid job with smile. I enjoy your Works. Don’t change. Félicitations from France 🇫🇷
Bet u wouldn't find it so splendid if u bought this car and only later found out what a death trap it is, but yea it's ok for someone else
These dudes are amazing!
Pretty cool wonder what the time frame was .goes to show what you can do with skill and the proper tools
Can we fix it? Yes you can!! Nice job!!!
Great job but how thin are the panels.
Esse cara é. Monstro da funilaria
Great job. 👍🏻💪🏻✌🏻
There are two things that really impress me about the videos in this channel. First, the final result of the repairs which is amazing. The second one, is the lack of safety. People cut metal, weld, paint and use all sorts of industrial machinery without any protective equipment. People are totally disposable.
Very nice 👍 very good 👍 das xosh zor jwana
Trabalho de excepcional qualidade. Parabéns 👏👏👏👏. Saudações do Brasil. From Brazil.
Amazing work,great skill.
This job is amazing and incredible
... How always you realizing a repair from first , this type from lesson do well for who pertain the area. What his sunday be blessed !

Most impressing, and all this in only four minutes, wow❤️👍🇳🇴
I am also a denter in hyderabad I also repair total lost car i am also joint with you thank q
Aapka koi branch delhi mai to no. dena please
Esse são os melhores, Parabéns.
You are awesome bro. Good job. God bless you
Excelente trabajo !!!!!! 👍
You are very good at mechanic
Nice job . For the comments on safety ... when are car is bent to a certain point then you can’t /shouldn’t repair it . The damage gets pulled out to square it up as much as possible . It’s only when they Bondi and repair the bent panels it’s unsafe . You can see he drills out spot welds and replaces with new panels . When it’s all together it’s become strong again .
The dude fucking eyeballed those black supports. That is not safe period.
Você é bom no que faz. Parabéns
Only thing this "mechanic" should gather is a few years in jail. The "total loss" was given for a reason...
Insurance companies don't want to pay labor for a car that costs less that's why they declare cars as total loss very easily, that doesn't mean the car has any serious problem, if you get it for cheap or scrap price and be able to repair it your self like those guys in the video, you can make like 10k profit for 1000$.
Good work, how mane time all service?
Love your videos and skills. But like everyone else I recommend you to use eye protection
Really nicely done. Even went in and redid all the spot welds.
question is are they supposed to be spot welds or resistance welds how many where at etc. stay tuned i'll let you know if i can narrow down what year it is
Excellent work Dear Brother
Very impressive work I loved watching the process here in Melbourne Australia our Insurance Companies would have Ridden that Car Off.
O MELHOR DO MUNDO!
I wish someone can teach me this stuff as this looks epic
