    • Nice simply build.. BUT..... if you really want it to handle, yes tires are #1 , BUT a good performance anti sway bar will do FAR more then the springs will do as far as handling. Yes the springs will lower it a bit but you will notice a smooth ride like stock yet handle better then the springs, if you go with the sway bar If you are going for the road race track.. #1 tires.. #2 performance anti sway bars.. For looks go springs if u have to pick one or the other, but anti sway bars are usually not to crazy expensive. Edit: GLAD TO SEE you did sway bars at the end of the video....In My 25 years of racingexperience road racing/ stage rally (for road racing, go anti sway bars before springs if u have to choose one fo... Stage rally (if you are going rally racing you do NOT want performance anti sway bars off road)

  • Another "bonus mod" you can use is a high quality weighted shift knob. Makes a big difference for the shifting experience. Also, for an STI mud flaps make a whole lot of sense in the "kit" category.

    @AlDim000@AlDim0002 жыл бұрын
    • True. The shifter knob makes all the difference. Especially if you change the shaft too. I had my shifter knob changed to a smaller one on my previous car by the previous owner and he also had removed the bulky foamy plasticy body of that shifter so there was just a small straight metal stick and a small knob in the end of it. It made me want to change the gears constantly. It felt so good when there was just that small metal stick with small shifter knob.

I haven’t followed MCM for a while as i remember it got too mainstream… (reminded me too much of top gear, where it was once an awesome show reviewing cars…then it went all global and it was literally an action drama about blowing things up) I hope that MCM future videos will be like the old videos; where it was in two blokes tinkering in the garage and teaching the audience on how to mod their cars with the occasional Aussie tongue-in-cheek humour.

We do not need to see two dudes who are pissed off at each other. That is not why we watch you guys. Lastly, as much as we dig you blokes the cars/bikes are still the stars. My personal go-tos would include a [d]ownpipe for decreasing wasted power, increased sound and preserving engine lifespan on modern vehicles but other than that your list was absolutely amazing and inspirational. My little tip on top would be: take your time when building a car; rather go step by step and fully appreciate all the little details the parts add instead of just installing everything all at once and also: if possible include friends and prusue that awesome journey together.

  • Really enjoyed this video, smashing off a big list of stuff you can do to customise your car. I'd definitely recommend getting a dashcam though, as I had an accident four years ago which was not my fault and the footage proved the third party was completely at fault. It doesn't matter what car you drive, it just provides peace of mind should you end up involved in an accident. Good work guys!

  • I get a bit sad watching the guys now. I feel like every time I sit down and watch an episode, you realise you can't expect two guys to have such an intense passion forever, I just wish the projects could keep coming, the material stay fresh, and for the adventures not to stop. Come to Scotland next!

    • I got my e36 m3 corner balanced at their shop in Texas. They were quite alarmed when they thought I did a fuel filter delete. They went as far as to personally insult me for it. I was alarmed to realize they had never worked on an early e36 with the fuel filter on the side of the block rather than along the frame rail. This was in 2014. Never went back.

    • Well worth getting a custom tune for the Cobb accessport though! The ots maps are ok but real improvements is in getting it custom tuned. Plenty of people who will do it for not too much money over the internet using logs.

    • @@weedshoes5089 The shop in Plano was a privately run tuning shop owned by COBB at the time but was basically just COBB in name. The people that make the products are/were different and had nothing to do with your experience. Not saying you don't have a valid gripe but just want people to know it has no bearing on buying their parts.
