@SaudiHaramco3 жыл бұрын
I noticed that, too. Brunson´s TD´s look tiring, while Romero is so loose and putting such little effort on his takedown attempts. He is so light on his feet and even while engaging. 2:30 he straight up drop sprawls just to make Brunson carry his weight.

Never a dull moment with Romero.
Yoel vs Izzy
Yoel is by far my favorite, this man is as funny as strong... He's a pure alien... humble and with an iron body, extremely skilled... Damn he's good
Dude so many fighters would have kept banging Brunsons head in until they're knocked out but notice how you could tell Romero started to feel bad from hitting him in the head so much that he decided to just hit his body. Respect
@@JfaJosephR9 it wasn't that he was feeling bad.. The body was just exposed.. Look how Brunson was still covering his face and Romero could not generate enough power to hit him clean on the face.. He smart and made a nice transition was the body was open for nasty elbows.. This fight put a toll on Bruson's broken ribs.
Oh yeah how did you feel about stool gate? Woops #soldierofsteroids
@@TGossage people complaining about steroids at high level competition are kind of naive... Just wait for the upcoming cyberpunk area in this century hopefully
@@yakine13 well when some fighters aren't allowed to juice and others are.... there's kinda something to complain about huh
I love how Romero basically never wrestles and just lets his opponent spend energy on getting the TD to then just casually stand up again. Dude is so good at preserving energy that sometimes he just stops fighting all together and just chills in the ring until he feels like throwing something.
I noticed that, too. Brunson´s TD´s look tiring, while Romero is so loose and putting such little effort on his takedown attempts. He is so light on his feet and even while engaging. 2:30 he straight up drop sprawls just to make Brunson carry his weight.
If Yoel were able to fully utilize his grappling without risk of his neck I whole heartedly believe he would have been undisputed
He would've been the GOAT of MMA
Might also be why He can eat head kicks like tic-tacs though.
Lol yeah his neck has been welded into a steel plate.
You may be right... but I have a feeling he worked it to his advantage... maybe he could take such big shots cuz his neck was fused.... never know... and he had mad head movement too at times... noone knew about his neck being fused until it was mentioned...so he did pretty well how he was...
@@fredp1983That’s a disadvantage. When your neck is “fused” you’re supposed to avoid aggravating it. Doctor’s told him he shouldn’t fight again, or risk full paralysis or death. Dude is a unit.
What the hell was going on with the ref tho... Not noticing the mouth piece (which could already be considered a TKO as Brunson was completely lost in that moment) and then the brutal unanswered beating... ooof

No one thought even Derek, thought Holland would be stupid enough to go to the ground with Derek💀
Not prime Brunson and he didn't expect a striker to wrestle him.

Romero used very little energy on those Takedown attempts. Basically wanted to finesse them to the point of not even having to tense his muscles up.

but it was effective though
So confusing how Brunson took down Romero multiple times but couldn't get Adesanya down. Maybe it's bc of his range and much better striking and distance control
I think it was mostly because of Romero's aggressiveness, or maybe he's not such a great defensive wrestler
@@jamesrt5352 yea I suppose Romero was being more aggressive and therefore managing distance less. But I think he's got to be a good defensive wrestler because he was a world champion in the sport!
