  • I actually find it so hard to sleep withou white noise (a fan is my favorite) and also I always have a warm shower before bed and I either read or watch a full walkthrough of a videogame from my childhood to make the sleepiness really set in. There are some bad nights here and there becuse of life stresses, but I never, NEVER, have insomnia. And the most underrated goodnight sleep hack is being a good person. People who have bad stuff in their conscience sleep terribly. Whilst people whith a clean one, don't matter the hardships they could be going thorugh, they'll always have the comfort that no one is after them and that they're doing everything the right way.

  • unfortunately I'm a thinker 🙈 and I often do have a really tough time falling asleep and I do use melatonin gummy bears (not every night - just when I'm not super tired and can not fall asleep) which helps a lot. I also use nature sounds (usually rain or thunderstorm on an app with sleep timer) and lately I added a weighted blanket which I also think helps with falling asleep quicker. The combo works great so far 😄😴

  • I’ve definitely done all these methods. Melatonin is by far my least favorite even though I have used it during high stress moments in life were nothing works& it should definitely not be relied on for more than just the occasional high stress need. The breathing method & naked method are my other least favorites but I’ve seen all of them be beneficial when having trouble falling asleep. Stretching, white noise, reading & cold shower I find to be the most effective for daily routine.

  • Thank you for this video guys, I will definitely try some of those methods. I dont have any problems with falling to sleep, but my deep sleep is around 15-45 minutes only. I also have to go to bathroom once every night, I really dont know how you guys are doing it without going even after drinking milk before sleep.

    @Karasman@Karasman2 ай бұрын
  • I like this channel and take it for what it is. I know its just subject experiences and not exactly scientific, but i appreciate the seemingly genuine effort and analysis without an agenda. That said, how ya gonna use a thumbnail with Andrew Huberman without having gone through his methods?! Haha. Maybe you can do a part two. I know a big thing he recommendeds is red lights-at a certain time before bed (several hours) swap out all lighta with red lights. Also, he already recommends against taking melatonin, but it's cool that you guys came to conclusions that seem to fit with why he recommends against it. Also, he just recommends a (comfortably) hot shower, so that might be easier than the method you tried. I know he has other recommendations and another good source for methods is Dr. Matthew Walker, who wrote Why We Sleep. In addition to Huberman's sleep episode, he has one where he talks with Walker (though you can find him on a lot of podcasts, Joe Rogan's being a good episode too). An example from Walker is wearing socks and gloves to sleep, which has to do with lowering body temperature, which is a recurring element of many techniques. But, either way, as usual, another awesome video. One last gripe, please add chapters and/or do a do a recap at the end. I save these videos when I want to try things and since I don't always remember everything, it makes it harde4 to have to scroll through several times, over and over again. Please help out those of us with attention and focus deficiencies.

  • Thank you for all your work into these videos, they help me a lot with my health and fitness. A couple other techniques are, not eating chocolate or sugar before bed can help keep the body calm and fall asleep faster. Also eating shortly before going to sleep can make your body tired when you wake up because it had to digest the food while you were asleep, therefore using up energy instead of storing it.

  • White noise is actually so helpful, I was on a schooltrip with 6 mates in a room and one guy fell asleep early and snored very loudly and I put on whitenoise on my JBL speaker. Everyone fell asleep so peacefully and woke up in the morning saying how good they slept lol

  • I am a person who doesn't sleep much but have always tried to sleep more and can never find a good routine. This seems like a few things I want to try. If I could ask, could you make an excel sheet that is view only and input all the sleeping methods for each of the guys and have them all rank 1 out of 10 and what they like most and the ones they like least? This way we could have a more general idea of what you all considered the best and worst and ranked aspect for a more easier understanding. I am an excel guy and like looking at documents and numbers and I think having a rating system for each one would be awesome. If you read this, thank you for taking the time to read my long comment :)!!

  • Melatonin gives me super weird dreams. But it does help me fall asleep faster. And surprisingly, it's easy easier for me to wake up in the morning and I feel much more rested.

  • I like Swiss massage spa music to help me relax and fall asleep (my white noise). I listen to is and breathe in and out. and some time I will just repeat to myself in my head sleep, sleep, sleep,….. to clear my mind. I all so have sleep apnea, so I sleep with a sleep apnea machine, so I have to sleep with my mouth closed. And if I really cant fall asleep and I need to get to asleep then ya a melatonin pill will definitely knock you out, but yes you will feel tired in the morning, but at least you got sleep! So I really do a combination of a lot of these all ready 😊
