Part 1: • Michael Jai White Expl...
--------
In this clip, Micheal Jai White spoke about Mike Tyson punching the passenger on the plane. Michael said he wasn’t surprised that something like that happened considering Tyson’s hypersensitivity. He explained that people like Tyson are hypersensitive and hyper-vigilant in order to survive. Not to mention that many of the most dangerous people he’s ever come across, like Tyson, are shorter than average.

This must also be coupled with two other martial arts virtues (humility) and (compassion) to be fully realized and used as a daily practice. We are all working on these which is the true essence of martial arts. The physical aspect of martial arts is what outsiders always focus on even though the physical 'baddassery' is least important of all.

If you were Mike's friend from back in the day, he's not going to forget you just because his rich. That's a little something they call respect and loyalty, an alien concept to some people, apparently. • MJW was so on point here. Everybody likes to underestimate what smaller to average sized guys are capable of. What they don't understand is that we've developed a hyper sensitive survival instinct, where we're not looking for the fight; but we're ready to end one quickly at a moments notice. This is because most of us were picked on when we were kids, by our larger peers. So when we get older, we're not about giving anyone a chance to actually hurt us.

    @rapmeister1000@rapmeister1000 Жыл бұрын
    • I think the reverse can play out to. When you have visible size, you can fall back on it to avoid some problems, so there is a chance your instinct gets dulled. You may not see something coming, or you might try to take a hit you shouldn't rather than react.

After watching it I noticed that the majority of individuals wanted for murder or attempt murder were little guys, 5’8” or shorter. I’m 5’6” and grew up in Harlem and the South Bronx. You always had your “antenna” up and when you’re small there is always the propensity to jump at the first sign of a situation going bad. Being small you don’t have the luxury of wait and see. If you don’t initiate you may not have any chance of surviving. Beyond that anyone that would intentionally mess with Tyson or White has a few screws missing.
