  • At 2.47 you have turned the O/D of the rod down to approx 29mm. There is NO standard Nut or Bolt made to this diameter. If it is going to be screw cut for a M30 thread then it will fit like a prick in a bucket. This is amply demonstrated at 6.12 and 8.01 + 14.50 shows how rough the "screw cut" thread actually is. It is this sort of "work" that reduces proper toolmakers to tears.

  • Fabricated failure. Stuck wheel will cause the 4 skinny bolts to bend & snap. Throw that tool into the drawer of stripped nuts & bolts.
