In this video we vlog a sparring day at the Team Renegade MMA Gym in Birmingham. From UFC World Champions to Amateur fighters Renegade is host to a team of some of the best athletes and fighters in the World.
In this video we have Arnold Allen preparing for his fight with Max Holloway getting rounds in with Renegade and Pro Striking Fighter Tim Wilde who is preparing for his Fight on Bellator in Paris, May. Fabian Edwards is in camp for his huge fight with Legend Gegard Mousasi and UFC Wletweright Ian Garry stepped in to help out and do some rounds with Fabian to help him get ready.
The session is lead by Joby Clayton, former trainer of Anthony Joshua, as he takes the fighters through a warm up and drills to prepare them for the sparring rounds. UFC Champ Leomn Edwards, his coach Dave Lovell, and myself, Nathan Epps, were on hand to give advice and feedback to the fighters.

  • Leon's brother is really good. He pieced Garry up in the standup. Always faster with the lowkicks

    • Ye he's a slick striker and has a lot more output then Leon. He's only been training MMA for 6/7 years very good genetics in that family 😂

    • @@prostrikingThat's the part of Leons game that worries me a little bit. His output. I feel like he could just be beaten on output at times, even if he's technically the better striker.

  • England is finally coming through as a world class place to learn how to fight hand to hand combat. As someone that has grown up in the UK, I always concluded that Irish, Scottish, English, and the Welsh were always far ahead of the world in terms of hand to hand combat. Of course, the rest of Europe is up there with the UK but I give the edge to us.

      @pokemonovice9758@pokemonovice97585 ай бұрын
    • @@pokemonovice9758So I'm assuming you're trying to say that they're not English. Genetics wise you could say that with Leon as both his parents are Jamaican, however with Bisping and Aspinall, they don't just have Polish blood.

  • How the hell does Garry make Welterweight?! He's huge. He's not just a skinny 6'3", he's pretty filled out. I know Fabian is a bit wider than Garry, but still. Fabian isn't exactly a small middleweight either!

    • Ye it's mad when you meet the fighters as none of them look anything close to the weight the step on the scales at 😂 I'm not sure what Ian Garrys walk about weight is but he's a good sized welterweight for sure and very good at using his range. Thanks for commenting 👊

    • @@prostriking Do you know what the average walk around weight would be for a welterweight on average? Would it be like 190/200 lbs would you say?

      @Matt-ou7tu@Matt-ou7tu5 ай бұрын
    • @Matt-ou7tu if Dave lovell (rockys head coach) caught him at 200lbs he'd curb stomp him 😂😂. I'd say 185-190lbs is a healthy walk about weight for welter and anything above that the fighter has usually, an exceptionally big welter that is capable of very big cuts (some people have a higher sweat rate and can lose a couple kg more water than others), have gone too far.

      @prostriking@prostriking4 ай бұрын
    • @@prostrikingkzhead.infoUgkxvmJz8xd85FcxOAKDnhGNRuV8xyDQD6J9?feature=shared You need to have a word with Dave 😂 I'd forgotten I'd seen that, but i think that's what gave me the 200lb mark being a realistic walk around weight for a welterweight. 185/190 seems healthier though to cut down from!
