    • I am sorry but I personally don't see the man you are describing. He did not inspire people, they were afraid of him and his very short temper. If anything, he was a salesman. Jony Ive was the inspiration behind all the physical appeal of Apple machines, and code and mechanics were code writers and engineers. Jobs to his dying day could not show an ounce of respect for the men who pioneered the code and mechanics of Apple. Hell the man initially denied that his daughter was his daughter.

      @TeacherRaf@TeacherRaf Жыл бұрын
    • @@TeacherRaf I've read and seen quite a bit about Jobs. It sure seems to me there's more hype than delivery, even when it comes to VISION. People think he was at the forefront of the innovation at Apple. Absolutely not true. The Apple I and Apple II, were both Wozniak's creation, including the graphic interface. The smart phone (mistakenly identified as the iPhone, which actually appeared 15 years later) was actually the idea of Marc Porat, back in 1989. It was he, Atkinson, and Hertzfeld who spun off from Apple with Scully's blessing and formed a company called General Magic, all in the absence of Jobs. I suggest people watch the documentary/movie called General Magic, especially the Jobs fans. That was the beginning of the integration of wireless communication and the computer and phone. From what I see, Jobs was little more than a pitch-man who could market himself along with the company.

Having lived in a poor country at one point in my life, I can tell you that progress often starts by working for companies like Apple, at rates 20 times lower than Apple would pay outside of your country. Why? Because if Apple pays you 20 times less than they pay their American employee, the alternative pays you 100 times less. If a fraction of those that judge Jobs and those like him, contributed a fraction of their earnings to bettering the world, the world would be 1000 times better than it is by listening to their judgmental "wisdom". Jobs did his part, he contributed a fraction of his earnings every single day of his life, have you? IBM CEO publicly stated that Microcomputers will never be important in business affairs, therefore when things started to show that small and medium size businesses were buying Apple computers, IBM still refused to dedicate his people and resources to build Micros, subcontracting Bill Gates to do it for them, and that was the beginning of Microsoft. Steve Jobs was a game changer, because of him we don't use EBCDIC but ASCII, and because of him he have MS-Office.

  • Stay hungry of knowledge and stay foolish by being unique and doing things that most people are not doing. That’s the only way you’ll become somebody most people aren’t. Some people would have given up on their lives for being fired by a company that they created. But Steve understands that when God closes a door, he will open at least a window. Now it’s up to the individual to become his/her own architecture by transforming that window into a door that is much bigger than the one closed earlier. Set backs are often the ingredients to your success. You back off so that you can jump higher… I am an international student in Brooklyn New York, chasing my dreams, so everybody please, pray for me so i come out victorious. And I pray for everybody as well for good health because without health your wealth becomes useless. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
