It's amazing how Alan Watts put into words the unexplainable truth of our existence. There is magic in his voice.
Beautiful ❤🙏🧚♀️🦋
It's amazing how Alan gathered all these different strands of Eastern philosophy and weaved them into such a sweeping tapestry so easily. It's spooky!
his lectures have helped me greatly over the years especially now. the world is literaly burning down around us now.
Gratitudes 🙏🙏🙏
Always welcome
Thank you my friend, keep up the good work everyday ❤
A remarkable share. "he's able to convey thought perceptions that feel as confirming as a touch." That's how I perceive Alan Watts Your video was recommended by YT, I think that's pretty cool... The grapevine is always changing, isn't it? Thanks for sharing 👍
i heard alan watts say this a million times in various lectures but i didnt understand until after i became homeless and had to give up almost everything. and then kept losing bits and pieces of things i thought that mattered. the last bit i dont think i heard at all before but something i felt was inate maybe? but it was something i felt was understood if that makes sense. The concept of jīvanmukta is what is missing in some religions like christianity which punish you for any amount of human attachment to this world.
The less you have ,the less you need to take care of ..🙏😇
Minimalist will understand this, I think! Life perhaps then loses all its burdens....and flows easily , like a river. Thank you for these beautiful short clip of Alan Watts! Made a lot of sense to me.😊
You're most welcome. I'm happy they did.
... and the less you HAVE, the more you ARE. The fact that having seems to be a hindrance to being is best demonstrated by so-called death. Death takes away everything we have, so that only what we are remains.
i coud have sworn i said this months ago but it has only been 7 days. maybe i commented on 2 videos.

I'm fairly sure he said "transience" not "transients"
Yes indeed. Another word that would do equally well in this context is "ephemeral" and that is the nature of our existence.
