  • Despite Norway being ideal wolf territory, the government keeps the wolf numbers very low, by hunting them. The wolf is not naturally "endangered".

  • Anneka. Few dogs you should bring international attention to. Labrador husky lurebred landrace. Sakhalin husky. St miguel cattle dog Cao de casteo laboreiro. All are at risk of extinction.

  • So, the reason for the decline of the Norwegian Arctic Fox is that it is out-competed by the Red Fox - not because of climate change. If climate change were responsible, surely the Arctic Fox would have an advantage over the Red Fox, because it has evolved to survive in the harsh Arctic conditions.

    • Blaming down clines to climate change is a load of horse poop. Foxes have been around for 20,000 years that had way worse climate shifts and they are still here. Climate change is a huge hoax that needs to die.

    • It is climate change because the cold area reduces in size as the planet gets warmer. Which means arctic fox area gets smaller while red fox area gets bigger that they starts to move into the arctic fox usual place. Where before red fox can't go in there, now they can because it is warmer.
