A couple of weeks ago I quit my job that didn't make me happy anymore.. At first I didn't know if switching jobs was the right thing to do, but it is one of the best decisions I made so far! If you are already thinking about quitting, but you are not sure: Just have couple job interviews and see what options you have. Just seeing those options made me feel way better about my future in the job world. Starting something new feels amazing

I'm doing my best and hoping for positive outcome.I hate the job I'm doing now, I'm paid peanuts but we have lot of responsibilities, sometimes have to work on Sundays or on odd times as well. That is not the case with other departments. They are paid well with less work.
I have this job where am working. Am required to be available 24/7.I work mon to mon, no day offs, no allowances n I've no time for myself like socializing, I can't go outing with frnds coz I've to be available 24/7. I started this job with a lot of vigor n passion but now, I jst work coz am paid to do so. I no longer feel happy. I jst feel depressed
My current job is not good for my health.

I HATE it when parents tell their children when they do good “Oh, that's normal.” and when they do bad “Oh X did better why didn't you do the same?” or “You're lazy!” or “You're a disappointment.” and expect their children to truly love and respect them. 😒

I work in the hospital it’s slavery, hospitals are run like a plantation😒 I hate every job though because I don’t like dealing with people. I just want money😂
People are horrible to deal with, really weird and toxic creatures.
And we are making new people all the time with ever more shallow souls.
I also work in a hospital. No off duties, no allowances, no freedom n salary is 😣😣😣 n am required to work 24/7(always available) Started working with a lot of vigor n passion but I now feel depressed

What do you do if you’re stuck and are unsure what you want to do regarding a job? I’m a cleaner in a facility as you mentioned. I’m burned out doing the same thing over and over. I’m mid life already and feel I’m to old to do something else, pushed by an unsupportive spouse to do something else, I’m overwhelmed and frustrated. Thank You for your video on this.
You’re never too old to do something else. You’re only limited by negative thoughts. Be positive. If you can find something you like to do. Do it in your spare time. Eventually you’ll find what you want to do and you’ll wonder why you waited so long to do it
May be you are good at cooking..home decoration ..make up and beautifying others..passionate about teaching children...driving...painting...nature lover ....singing or dancing..etc etc.Sit with yourself and you'd find it what sparks you and bring smile on your face..that might be your passion. @6:00 If I were scaled on this, I would score well on Math & Science. You could consider those a strength of mine, but I want nothing to do with those subjects. They're just things I'm good at. @7:20 If I did this exercise, I don't think they were would say what my passion is. My mom always wanted me to be a math teacher. But I do not want to teach people. Ultimately, I think I learned that I do not really want to help people at all. I just want to create things & entertain. I feel like I've always excelled at that & never had the opportunity to explore my potential in that field until now.

I have been applying for jobs for a year and I’m an admin assistant and I’m desperate to get out of it my job has no growth. It’s extremely hard, employers make me feel like my resume is worthless when I hear some of them say they can’t find anyone I just wanna scream.

The reason this system will fall is because we have given more value to money than talent and skills as well as our own personal strengths and this will cause our downfall. Worse is when you have a graduate degree, years of experience and a managing title, yet you do the admin job bc of discrimination ;)
In my country we can do a job after 20, so, I've wasted 7 years looking for a job and finally when I got a job I've wasted 10 years doing that useless job, from which the pay is hardly enough for me to live. Finally I've found "my dream goal", but I think it's too late as I'm 37 now, and no matter how hard I try, I just can't 😥 What should I do ? Please can you tell me Jay 😥🙏

You're not old, there are people who are 50 and 60 and they are not mentally , physically and emotionally old and they still work on their goals When I was in my early tweenties I was so old , now I am 33 and I feel much younger and more happy than when I was in my 20's.
even though i know what im good at, what I'm good at doesn't earn me enough money. so when this happens, Im forced to do what i don't like just so i can earn decent money. it's easy to say for example if I'm good at physics and maths, i could be an engineer. well, an engineer could earn you decent money. good for you. but not in my case. money is always the driving force..

Society does not reward you for meaningful work. Look at the Median Income for the job skills learned at a community college in the U.S. You will see some of the most useful jobs a person could do for themselves and their community, expected to live below the poverty line. I shouldn’t have to seek fulfillment with an empty stomach, looking into the eyes of a hungry child.
After watching so much of videos like this, i am unable to find my passion from 7 yrs i am in cooperate job (engineer) and i don't like that and try several things but i didn't like that which i have tried, so how to find your passion or things you love to do, i am very stressful regarding this, if anybody known than please comment..!

A job is a job. As long as it keeps the wolves away from the door. It shouldn't matter if you like your job or not.
It does matter because if you have that mindset you will set yourself up for failure and become depressed maybe suicidal so no you're wrong it does matter whether you like your job or not because your lifestyle is based off of the job you work at and your income.
100% wrong, it totally matters if you like your job or not. If anyone is in a miserable job, they will eventually resent everything about it, including themselves. Toxic environments can destroy your life.
These two guys are right, it DOES matter. The job I'm trapped in right now(can't afford to leave) has got me feeling so depressed and suicidal about everything in life until I now have to go to therapy and counseling. Yes a job is a job but it shouldn't make you wish for death every day of your life.
