For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. Really shows how powerful this Peter's spider senses are, it not only sensed the goblin but instinctively move his body even when separated from his consciousness
In spider verse the spider sense was retcon to get a more cosmic orientated reason to exist, that explains why the body was able to move
that's not his spider sense...it's because he's holding the box..that box connects the astral plane to reality and if you touch it you can control your physical body and be lucid in the astral plane.

@@Mystic-4252 Dr. Strange is still not the comic book level Dr. Strange. He's not Sorceror supreme. He is still making lots of mistakes. He doesn't know everything yet. That's what I love about the MCU...is the progression. But one of the seal of Vishanti's specific powers is to allow anyone who touches it...to cross the astral plane.
Strange was definitely going easy on Peter but it's still impressive as fuck how Peter outplayed him.
Not as easy as Spider-Man goes on him. He never hits him and doesn't even try anything offensive until the end of the fight.

Strange def went easy on Parker. If he can survive a physical brawl encounter with Thanos, Spidey is no problem. But Spidey can physically overpower him but he has to catch him first

Love this scene, normally I wouldn't like if a street level hero beat Strange but I like the explanation that Peter thinks outside the box with his smarts more, plus his Spider Sense and Strange underestimating him. Characters underestimating Spidey is like the most comics thing.
If strange had any intent to kill, spidey would be dead. But he has significantly less non lethal options.
It's easy to forget that Peter is a genius on the same level as Strange, Stark, and Banner.

If you guys didn't notice, strange is doing small or not big hits to peter because he doesn't actually want to hurt him. Despite throwing a literal train at him, he knew to peter it was not a lot of hurt. We know strange has a lot of spells and tricks but gives the bare minimum to peter. Edit: Y'all chill 😅😭

Never noticed this until now, but you can see waves coming off of Peter’s head when he’s been separated from his body. Showing that his Spider sense is active.
This movie has better Dr. Strange than in his sequel itself

Love the scene at 3:00. Within the mirror dimension itself - Strange created 2 mirror dimensions. So the mirror shattering effect happens when the 2 dimensions are pulled together
3:00 My LORD that's one of the best scenes in the pre-Endgame films. Even if you don't have the slightest clue what's about the happen in the moment, for either of these very DIFFERENT characters,, the soundtrack alone will tell you, "Uhh...guys? G-guys?!? If you don't pay attention, something bad is about to...OH SHIT!" Really utilized the greatest of their strengths respective abilities as heroes, showing just what they are both capable of!

Everyone is saying Strange was going easy on Spiderman and Spiderman didn't even attack Strange. He was just defending and running all the time. The only time when spiderman went for strange was in the end and he got him.
What I love about this scene is it echoes the comic book, where Spiderman beats his foes using Math and Science and uses Spiderman abilities to just do what the math or science is telling him needs to be done.
I was surprised by all the fight between spiderman and doctor strange for the mirror dimension.. It made me laugh when at the end Doctor Strange said that he left him hanging in the canyon for 12 hours jajajaja

I like how some people think it was dumb that Peter managed to trap Strange there, but they... clearly don't understand JUST how intelligent Peter is. Tony Stark, in the comics, realized it, and was baffled why Pete lived the way he does. If he put his mind to it, he could become a competent magic-user perhaps faster than strange. I don't want to suggest he'd be a better caster, but he'd take to it easily with his combination of intellect and intuition.

The restraint on Dr. Stranges part to not hurt Peter is amazing. He could have easily killed or Crippled him... but because of that he underestimated the Intellect of Peter Parker and payed the price for it :P
he underestimated nothing. he can and should have won this easily, but was made into a clumsy weak idiot for no reason so peter can impossibly win for no reason.

Spiderman never fights serious and even if strange does the same, in a serious battle outcome cannot be predicted easily. Especially when his body can move without his soul. It could have been an amazing scene if they included a fight like that in next spiderman movie..

Dr. Strange may know things that Peter doesn't know, and Peter knows things that Dr. Strange doesn't know. In reality, Peter just got lucky.

Michael Giachinno being able to score this movie, whilst also having scored Doctor Strange has to be pretty cool and a career highlight, usually the soundtrack wouldn’t feature much of the other character due to differences in how the composer would score the movie.

I feel like most people after they heard “Parker don’t you realize that in the multiverse there are an infinite number of people who know peter Parker is Spider-Man and if that spell gets loose they’re all coming here” are instantly giving the box back. But I’m with strange send them back. And you see what happened when he didn’t listen he got jumped and may died.

We have to be real here. Strange is right. It wouldn't matter if Peter cured the villians, they will have to die in their own universes. Doc ock would still have his unstable machine. Eletro as soon as he returns he's probably electrocuted to death. Osborn, who knows, he may have a handful of problems as a returns. Similar to the Endgame snap. The story sounds nice but the actions of the heros may be costly. Imagine planets that were alright struggling to surviving have their population suddenly appear and need the little resources left. Or the earth for example. The population was alright bad enough. Imagine seeing your wife being erased from existence, moving on and getting remarried and suddenly 5 years later she magic appears.
