    • I think Fury is hamstrung by his heart and talent. Clearly he is the best we've seen for a long time but his issue is that he is so much better and bigger than anyone else that he can't necessarily get it up for the average pugilistic wannabe. Seen him struggle against Cunningham and got his eye opened up by that viking fella. Both lesser men and both times Tyson had to lean on them to get rid. I just wish that there was a monster out there bigger and badder than Wilder and technically better than the Klitschkos. That kind of battle would be worth watching and I reckon if Tyson fancied it he could spark out Satan himself. That said. I worry he'll get beaten on points by an Usyk or similar because it's hard to get really engaged against a bloke half your size.

Never changed his stance, never raised his hands for a full round to defend his face, he only covers his face when Fury starts barraging him with punches. • Nah, if it wasn’t for all the excuses most wouldn’t have cared about the third fight. Wilder no doubt made them both a lot more buys because the wilder faithful genuinely believed he was cheated and ran with the narrative he’ll knock fury out…so tuned in. The rest of us wanted to see wilder beat up and them all get humbled after a year of none sense. Made the forgone conclusion all the better. Plus, had it not been for the excuses there’s no way the towel wouldn’t have been thrown in in the third…denying us the knock out wilder craved, and leading to no doubt more excuses and a fourth fight.

  • Deontay works so hard building his muscular body, yet he does not seem to do any of the leg muscle training required, so obviously cannot use them to build up the even greater power he needs, to have a tremendous follow through in that one right punch which he has been gifted with, and which would ensure no-one would be able to rise back up in the ring after he delivered it. His body reminds me of Frank Bruno's, all those years ago, although his legs were muscular too, Sadly he was muscle-bound, and when he faced Mike Tyson, the fear in his eyes was so evident as well! Wilder is a warrier, and it was obvious that he did not shirk from fighting Tyson Fury, he just needed an extra zoomph to alter that power he neeeded. Both fighter's deserve praise for the excitement their matches gave us, the spectaters, and I enjoyed each of them a lot, even though I am an aged old crone these days.
