So yeah and even with SPOILER ALERT The divorce in progress and knowing Stolas’s situation, I stand by my original comment cuz I love Stolas but he’s treated Blitzø like a toy from the get go. Him being upset now cuz Blitzø doesn’t see his affection as genuine is understandable but he set the standard for their relationship going forward when he called Blitzø in the middle of a job telling him if he wanted to keep his job then he needed to start making monthly visits to his bedroom

I feel like not enough people are realizing how hard this very episode was for Blitz too. 11:21 He stepped up for Moxxie and Millie but not one of the three actually tried to defend him. Fizz instigates and Verosika jumps in with a pitchfork. M&M was speechless/quiet, Blitz felt like Stolas was ashamed to be seen with him--which makes Blitz feel even more undeserving of affection, and add to that, maybe, the guilt of inviting Stolas there only to be publicly shamed along with him.
Exactly my thought. I feel like no one notices the shock in Blitzø’s face when Stolas hides his face in embarrassment after Ozzie makes a comment about their relationship…
And how his voice broke when he was telling Stolas was just him wanting Blitzø to f him and how he makes it clear all the time. I really felt for him there.

Stolas didn’t abandon blitz even after he was mocked openly. He’s a real one. I have hope for them
Didn't stand up for him either though. If he had, it might have given more of a reason for blitzo to think his intentions were less about sex and more because he actually cared.
This episode triggered a rant from me, I just explained to my significant other why Stolitz shouldn't work from Stolas' side and why Blitz isn't emotionally stable enough to change their relationship right now.

@@Lauer5Lynn Assume we want a healthy relationship. Let's start with the simple problem first; Stolas using his book to keep blitz chained to him has to change. Stolas is a prince so he is used to things being given to him, Stella was probably an arranged marriage, he can get into clubs without reservation etc. He also doesn't recognize other peoples emotions as in episode 2 with Octavia. Blitz most likely feels trapped since without that book Blitz can't pay M&M, he can't pay his bills, he can't pay Loona. Episode 5 he believes it is a transactional ****ing.
On to the Blitz. Episode six, we know he hates himself and is prone to self-destruction, He wants to change and is, slowly. Episode 7 the opening he treats Moxxie without criticism. A step in the right direction but the baggage he carries needs work, we see from his photos he doesn't want to self reflect and on his phone we see all his past failed relationships and the sight of his sister and I assume his mother just sets him off. Based on that alone I'm going to say he doesn't or can't see his mother anymore.
The worst part that really get me the feels is that stoles didn’t make a single sexual remarks. He just genuinely wanted to hang out
Stolas is a blessed (irony intended) boy who’s just a little damaged, he deserves to just hang out and have a good time for once.

hi, i don’t know if anyone will care but i’ll say it anyway. in august 2023 i was really bad because of a situation that i had with someone i liked. that month was really hard for me, hard to the point where i stopped eating for several days and had a big weight on my chest during each. i couldn’t sleep correctly either. the situation i was in reminded me of the one that blitzø and stolas were in, and i remembered that the soundtrack at the end of episode 7 was really catchy, really calm and nice to hear. so every night that i couldn’t sleep i used to put this soundtrack just to fall asleep. it really helped. and now that i listen to it again, im kinda happy this was here, it really helped. i don’t know who i need to thank so i’ll just thank Vivienne Medrano and SpindleHorse. thanks for creating this soundtrack that helped me through so much and thanks for making me feel better, even for a little amount of time. Helluva Boss will always have a big place in my heart. i love you all ❤

I love everything about this episode, Moxxie and Millie relationship, Millie being a badass, Asmodeus and Fizzy leving out small hints of their relationship, Stolas feeling happy for once, even if it was not what he expected and ended up bad. Even Verosika addition was excellent. Hell even Blitz remembered to tell Asmodeus and Fizzy they are hypocrites (on the Mammon episode) because of what they did to Moxxie and Millie here.

@@friendlyneighborhoodinquis1682 it seems more related to his mom. As a root problem. Then look at him and Fizzarolli. Fizzarolli left him behind as he became more popular. I don't doubt that he was the one who carved out acts for Blitzo here and there but the resentment between them grew so bad that Fizz just left him behind and that left Blitzo feeling deeply betrayed.....even though it was his own resentment at Fizzarolli that dissolved their relationship. I think this goes back to episode 6 and how his hallucination of Fizzarolli threw him into the mud, how he interprets being left behind as his childhood friend turned lover gained success and abandoned him. Then a rebound with a popular pop singer in Verosika, but he never really liked her. His face in the picture seems like it is meant for someone else. He doesn't look cool, he looks bitter and venomous. He was just using her, her body to try and forget Fizzarolli and her status to hit back at his ex. Blitzo has an awful history that he pretty much made himself. And he fucking knows it. But what we don't know or get or understand is his relationship with his mom and how that started everything. Except...maybe....just a thought. His mom looks really sad. Her children are all smiles and happy but she looks...depressed. And it just crossed my mind writing this. But what if his mom killed herself...

My heart absolutely breaks every time I watch this for poor stolas. I get Blitzø struggles with his emotions, but my god stolas is trying so hard to connect
I feel like Blitzø is so obsessed with Moxxie and Millie's relationship because he doesn't know how to have a relationship like that on his own, yet it's just the type of relationship he craves
Its like Blitzø is trying to learn more about Millie and Moxxie’s relationship so he can be a better person in relationships in the future. I’ve never had liked Blitz back in the other episodes and only liked Loona and Millie because of how badass and cool they were. But this episode made Blitzø my favourite comfort character.

It’s always so heartbreaking to see stolas’ pupils when he shows strong emotion
Did no one notice how when Stolas looked at Stella, his eyes were normal.. but when he saw Octavia his pupils showed. It’s great detail. Monarchy is weird, he wasn’t in love with a demon who speaks royalty, but still adores his daughter more than anything. He realized what love is, even though Blitz is an Imp. I see he still feels guilty for the affair, but I know it’s.. way more complicated than that.
His pupils also often show when he talks to Blitz, especially when he asked him on a "date" they even were heart-shaped... Those details are amazing!

Aside from the obvious Tearjerkers, some small things that make me smile: Stolas and Stella have officially separated, as Stolas mentions Octavia is with her mom. This may provide some hope that they can just go their separate ways and find some peace, without continuing to hurt one another. Loona went to a party with Tex. Meaning that Tex was 100% sincere in wanting to be her friend and help her socialize.

Yeah the party invitation moment made me smile too. It may be pretty soon for me to ship them, although Loona obviously has a crush on Tex, but I’m glad the author remembered those characters as well, and I would like to see some episodes dedicated specifically to their relationship
Kinda interesting tho to see Tex - Verosika's bodyguard - having a day off to party when she is performing somewhere, and apparently without any bodyguards. Is the lust ring safe enough or is that just an oversight?

Real sad episode. Moxie and Millie are adorable a couple as ever, but I was too stuck on on Blitzo and Stolas. Stolas is clearly serious about him. Got a little embarrassed when the spotlight was put on him but he still clearly likes Blitzo. I hope Stolas can gain the confidence to assure him that he sees Blitzo as more than a friend with benefit.

it's clear Stolas DOES like blitz but blitz is too pig headed not to want to just talk to him about his feelings it's also pretty clear blitz cares about Stolas as well, but he has some toxic issues making it hard for him to love and be loved.
Yeah, that moment he hid his face was what convinced Blitzo he was still just a plaything to Stolas, when that’s clearly no longer the case. Here’s hoping they work it out in the season finale.

Stolas is such a sweetheart 💔 I feel bad for Blitzø but I feel even more for Stolas, He thought Blitz was taking him on a date and he just wanted to spend time with him but he got humiliated at the club and then rejected by the end 😭😭
This episode in particular made my heart ache, seeing Stolas trying to have a normal conversation with Blitz and constantly having a "Tic" whenever he answered too blunty it made me go back to my past relationship where I used to ask him how was his day only to get a short "good" So I can relate how Stolas might have felt :"(
Funny enough in the episode where stoles got hurt he is checking his messages and if you pause to read them you could see that stoles is wrting in paragraphs constantly apologizing or thanking him or inviting him over while blitz answers with a simple yes or no I cant
It breaks my heart how exited Stolas was. It was implied before that he has some romantic feelings for Blitzø, but here they are much more appereant. He destroyed his marriage, compromised his relationship vith Octavia, his reputation. At first it really was just to get himself off, but he later started to grow conflicting feelings. This was implied in Loo Loo Land when he speaks with Octavia, but here you can really see it. He really thought Blitzø was starting to like him back. He dressed real fancy, actually tried to talk to him and trying to get his attention, and treated him with respect. If you pay attention, during the whole date he never calls him "Blitzy", repsecting that he doesn't like it. It was so easy for Stolas to give him a pet name, giving how he is a prince AND higher demon rank in general. But he doesn't here. He actually treated him like an equal for once. Just to be ignored for half of the date by the person he likes. That truly stings. And when they do talk, it's only small talk. Blitzø didn't even answer his more serious question. Then everything goes to shit. He is publicly shamed, people laugh at him, all the while Fizz and Veronika make fun of his love interest. He really seems sad for Blitzø. They leave, but they do in Blitzø's car. They could've used a portal, but Stolas preferred to drive in a dirty, out of shape and small car for his size. And he tried to connect with him again. Only to be said to him: "I don't want to have sex with you. I'm only your plaything, and I'm not up for it tonight." I don't think Stolas had sex in mind this whole night. He only wanted to spend time with him, maybe know him a little better, connect more. After all, he's destroying his life for him. His feelings are not reciprocated. He screwed up. He didin't show his feelings in a manner that Blitzø could recognize. He thought he was during sex, turns out that's not how you do it. And when he tries to connect differently, he's told to basically go fuck himself. He failed at showing his feelings for him. A prince, dating a low-class, broke and otherwise irrelevant imp for Hell's standards. It should be easy for a high class such as himself to impress an imp, turns out it's not. That's probably why Stolas likes him. But the little imp doesn't lime him back.
I think Blitzø does like him back, but he is afraid of showing it to him. In the last episode where Blitzø was singing, it was clearly shown that he wants a relationship with Stolas, he loves him, but he is afraid he is not good enough for Stolas. After all he is just an imp.

I feel that many people, while they say that it is heartbreaking to see all this happening, as someone who aspires to be a storywriter myself, it doesn't take that much foresight and intellect to see that Viv and the crew will inevitably have things work out for Blitzo and Stolas because they set this episode up the way they did. They made it specifically that Moxxie and Millie had an outing to this place where they introduced Asmodeus, both as a character and as a plot device to hint at the conflict of the relationship of Blitzo and Stolas coming to a head. And using retrospective knowledge, knowing that Asmodeus has the legal authority and ability to travel to and from the living world, it's very easy to see that either A, Viv and the crew (I don't know the other people's names I'm sorry for any perceived disrespect) have Blitzo and Stolas eventually work out their issues and become a couple akin to how Moxxie and Millie are, or B, they'll have the conflict only deepen and as a result, have a somewhat perfect mirroring of Blitzo and Stolas, and Ozzie and Fizz, because using details picked up from each of the scenes, Fizzaroli and Blitzo, from my observations of having rewatched the show 26 times and counting, seem to always mirror one another. Starting from the Circus Fire, Fizzaroli was more badly wounded than Blitzo, but in the end, Fizz was more successful, and Blitzo has to work harder than Fizz does, Fizz has a better relationship with Asmodeus than Blitzo does with Stolas, regardless of the fact that both Fizz and Ozzie are thirsty, lustful demons while Blitzo and Stolas, both of them being Thirsty and Lustful demons, their relationship as of late is *only* the sexual encounters that they have, and as a result, you have a near perfect mirror between these two couples. While the other option, very easily accessible, it also just goes to show that the Pareto Principle, no matter the medium, no matter the type, the Pareto Principle basically dominates anything and everything, even when it comes to storytelling, because 20% of your story has caught the attention of the views, but nearly 80% of it is seen by the loyal viewers.

Stolas' behaviour does include him using the book to get Blitz in his bed, but we cannot ignore the attempts to have something more. He divorced his wife, he was genuinely happy to go out on a date, he himself is a dork who don't know what to do for real. I can't see him as evil in his actions, toxic yes, but also inexperienced when it comes to relationships. The marriage with Stella was likely arranged, so has he ever had the chance to explore what he likes?

This ep made me tear up a bit
I think I know why Stolas was so excited when Blitzø asked him out on a date. Look at the castle, all the plants are dying, it's dark and quiet , and Stolas is eating cereal instead of a proper meal. It's clear that his wife and Octavia left him, all because he was with Blitzø. He needs this to work out, he needs this relationship with Blitzø to be worth it.

This shit shows how complicated it is to establish a relationship that started off with just sex. Blitzo doesn't belive he can trust Stolas with any sort of emotional bonding, while Stolas being the cheating husband has an obvious sense of guilt and shame in his actions, which he cannot help but somewhat involve Blitzo in those feelings. I genuinely believe Stolas' character has romantic feelings for Blitzo and that Blitzo himself does wish to have what M&M have, but both of them have way too many issues for it to happen naturally. Anyway, that's my headcanon. Enjoy the rest of the comment section

I just realised something after rewatching this episode for the tenth time. Blitzo isn't saying he doesn't want more from Stolas... Which I misunderstood from my first few watchings. His exact words "don't act like what we have is anything more than you wanting me to fuck you". At first I thought he was saying that their relationship is nothing more than sex, but in truth he's saying "I know you don't want more from me because who could ever love me". He can't see Stolas' advance as anything more than him wanting sex. He think Stolas invited him to stay because he wanted it to end in bed. While Stolas genuinely wanted to spend time with Blitzo... Makes it all the more tragic

To me, it’s seems that Bltzo actually cares about Stolas, the reason why he left Stolas that night was because he believes that Stolas only wants sex from him and was offended by how Stolas acted at the club. Contrary to belief, Stolas wants Blitzo wants more than just sex but rather to just wants someone to love. In conclusion, they both want to have a true, happy family and love.

Man the ending when blitz was going through his pictures you can see of him with m&m going to verosika and fizz when they were kids too. his mom and his sister(or at least that's what I believe they are.) in one of the episodes verosika stated "your sister says hi" from when she was in rehab that kinda stuck on me and I've been expecting to see the sister soon. But that last picture that blitz saw that made him start crying.. that hit home. And holy hell... for a split second you see a little bit of blitz past that made him happy.. and now tears him apart.. freaking love this show!

What’s kinda fucked up is that I feel like Asmodeus was probably complimenting Stolas for something that he was embarrassed about. Imagine the demonic embodiment of lust saying you embody that very spirit when you’ve basically fucked up your life or the life of others. In a place like that, it’s probably seen as a good thing which is remarkably similar to the real world where some people get pats on the back for the same or at least similar things that Stolas is doing. The realism this episode represents is crazy cool.

Everyone is feeling for stolas but no one ever mention how Octavia is feeling about the situation stolas is creating. I'm pretty sure from the pic in EP 2 they seem pretty happy couple but who knows what happened to their relationship and who is fault is it and don't y'all say Stella cause I ain't. I'm fucking introduced to a guy who is already cheating and only stolas had been given a proper screen time and build up. I ain't saying it's stolas fault or stella but I'm fucking introduced to a character who is cheating and given some minor clue on why he is cheating but that still doesn't excuse on how he handle it cause I'm fucking pitying Octavia right now and for one I know the feeling of a somewhat good family turns into ruin but I don't know the feeling of meeting the person who is your dad cheating with.
