@@Dev_on_one I’ve seen it. Kyrie was dominant but he wouldve been even more dominant with more dribbles. When Trev played Aquille Carr last year, he won the limited dribble games but lost the unlimited dribble games. Dribbling is just part of the game, especially for a guard. So it can be a severe handicap when youre not allowed to use sufficient dribbles to create space or get an open look. Of course I mean within reason (spam dribbling isnt real bball)

Why does the commentators' game commentary lean more toward Julian?
I can't respect Julian's game because 1 or 2 of those shots he did the equivalent of spraying and praying like you would in a FPS video game and they just happened to go in. Look at the shot at 8:08, it's a tough shot, but why would you even take a shot like that? My point is, his play style doesn't show consistency, it's just sloppy, especially for a guy who has spent so much time on his handles since he was a child. I will say that his size definitely forces him to play differently, so that attributes to his sloppy play I guess.
The problem is.. he never adapted his play to his size. He didn’t improve anything. If you look at the undersized players in the league, they all mastered separation and their shots did the rest. Julian didn’t even improve his handles instead, it’s just sloppy and he tries to do it fast.

The way people play 1 on 1 now is so weird. When I was young you kept possession of the ball till you missed and they rebounded, or stole it. Stopping after every missed shot is goofy.

When you play basketball on an organized team team, they have you play 1v1s to improve, n prepare for the game. In the game if you miss, the centre will likely get the rebound. no rebounds is the way to improve thats why they play like that now. I feel like u knew this already

Crazy that the ref only called 1 travel call this entire game lol.... Dunbar traveled 2 other times.... 1st travel was the step back 3pt attempt at (3:50) where he did a behind tween into the step back but didn't put the ball on the floor... The 2nd travel was off the drive spin at (7:02) where he took 2 extra steps after the spin before the lay... Newman traveled AND PUSHED OFF at (4:00) 😂 when you pro-hop, you have to land on both feet, you can't take a 1-2 off the hop. Both players are highly skilled though nonetheless 💯🔥

@@MannyParadisee Obviously he can't defend, so we can just get the defense part out of the way. On offense, his offensive lines are horrible (8:07 for instance). He literally moves away from the basket. His method of hopping around trying to deflect off the defender, then getting himself in a corner with his missteps and having to essentially just throw the ball up would never work in any setting other than backyard hooping with friends and family. It's really sloppy. Also, each explosive move he makes is basically a 50/50 gamble whether he'll lose his handle. I won't deny he's put in work, but saying "dude can hoop", as if to denote he is elite in any way, is laughable.
