[Part 1 of 3] Luke reads extracts from The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells. This is a classic bit of science fiction writing from the Victorian era, with some thrilling passages and scary descriptions. It’s one of my favourite books of all time and I hope you enjoy it too and learn some English from it.

  • Gerbert Wells was most liked writer of mine in my childhood. It were the 60th in Siberia. Collected works of Gerbert Wells in15 vollums are on the shelves of my library It's naturally in Russian translation
