  • I very glad that now people who speak different languages can talk to each othe other, and for this it is not necessary to each other, and for this it is not necessary to study a new language for years. Let's continue to make steps towards each other! For learning English has always been a wonderful hoppy, but due to the inability to communicate with native speakers and the lack of money for a good teacher, it was difficult for me to understand my level of language proficiency. Now with the advent of an online translator, i am happy to meet people who live in other countries, and this is great probably the main idea that every person needs to realize and accept in this difficult time is that we are people, politics, religion, financial prosperity, thousands of kilometers of of water and land are trying to divide us,but at the same time, for me,sometimes an American who sincerely talks about his life in a blog is kinder than aliving neighbor on the same street with me, and for 10 years he has never said" hello! How are you?" With fervent greetings from Pakistan Usually i don't study after my supper but today when i encountered this video in the evening

    • True. And the “shwee” at the beginning sounds odd. I think it’s because many people don’t follow the “use shall for first person rule,.” In fact, it can even sound rather formal. So when people do say it then tend to fully pronounce it-or at least sound like “shallwe” if they were to say this sentence. Finally, the “shwee” could just be how people might say it in his dialect.

  • I'm a native English speaker, one among many in this comment section it seems, and from what I see this guy knows his stuff. It's fascinating to see someone break down our language in such a way. I will just say, english as a language must be a mess to learn, so much respect to those who are trying. I'll just add on to this, word meanings can also change depending where in the world you are. Some words or phrases here in Canada are foreign even to Americans I know, so if you're studying this to go somewhere specifically, it may also help to research modern phrases in that area.

    • The problem with english language is not its grammar but its pronunciations. Its sounds!! In spanish we use to pronounce every single letter (even in german it's almost the same), but in english it's different. In 2018 I was on hollydays in the States. Once in a supermarket I was just behind two couples of British trying to get what they were talking about, just to practice my english.... there was no way!! hahahaha!! Now I understand why. Best regards from Bs. As.
