This is a full walkthrough for Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered from the Nathan Drake Collection, on Brutal difficulty with full commentary. Brutal Difficulty is unlocked by beating Crushing and is considerably more challenging.

Whenever he says he died 2-3 times, I get Nam flashbacks of me dying 50-100 times.
PRO TIP FOR THE LAST ROOM In the huge fight in the end your "despear" push was actually what saved you. Without it the guardians will never win because they will be outnumbered. The actual way to beat this part is to get in front of the soldier spawn. This stops them from spawning. After that, kill the remaining enemies to get the checkpoint. I found that the best route to do that would be to kill the minigun dude by shooting BOTH resin piles next to him then kill a few more soldiers(not guardians) for not more than a minuit to have a bit less to worry about and then attempt to circle from the right all the way to resin pilons you destroyed to kill the minigun dude. Ignore ALL enemies until you reach that point. If you die try again. It is not going to work first time but it is definitely faster than having a never ending gunfight. I tried this and after about five attempts I got the checkpoint(If you haven't tried this game/difficulty note that I died about 20 times befote trying this out(with each lasting 1-8 minuits)). I write this because I got the game for free after sony put it out due to the pandemic and I suppose I am not the only one. So I give you this tip to not spend 2 hours failing like me. Also good video, in some of the other areas it really helped me(If you see this 5 years after uploading the video). Good luck and stay safe :D

This part is the first time I have ever needed a tutorial for his game. I just kept trying this part for hours and hours, my last fight being over 50 minutes of torture, enemies spawning forever and the ground sparkling from the amount of guns dropped by the enemies. After I swallowed my pride, came here and followed your advice, I literally got the respawn on the first try and killed the guardians on the next. Thank you so much!!!

When I was writing the script for Uncharted, I wrote the blue dudes as incestuous brothers. They discovered a forbidden secret one day, in the jungle poolroom.
"if you die in this fight it's your fault" So it's my fault if I got killed through a wall in 1 bullet from 400km by a unseen enemy
In the room with the unending amount of soldiers if the blue dudes die, the game wants you to kill the heavy machine gun guy and then grab it and use it to kill the remaining enemies (Soldiers won't spawn anymore). A checkpoint triggers and the 3 last blue dudes spawn and thats it, i discover it just by dying and trying stuff, it's funny because the game never tells you in any way that that's what it wants. Got it recorded in my walk.
+Hado too bad it's absolutely impossible to grab the machine gun and kill all the left enemies nearby i tried it now about 10 times you don't last 1 second with that slow weapon whilst you have about 8 enemies around you that can put you down within a tenth of a second on brutal
@@LILLO84 confirmed it works. If you run around the perimeter the mobs will shoot at elaina and chloe. I ran to the right, picked up a crossbow on the way all the way around the where the gatling heavy is killed him picked up the gun then killed the 3 guys. Respawns stopped. Checkpoint with blue guys

If you go down to the door entrance the spawn point of infinite soldiers is, you deactivate the spawn. I did it on Crushing without dying and managed to get back to safety. It worked.

Uncharted 2 is Way easier than 1 i bet you can finish the whole game with blind fire because it damn good in this game

Legit a thank you for the first section with the beefed up Avatar dudes. That part drove me bonkers. These 2 fights seemed the most difficult in the game at first. But now i did it in one try.
What's really funny is that running sequence at the beginning I never even went grey and I got lost a couple of times as well and didnt die once.
Shoot the resin behind the two blue guys when they jump down to kill them both instantly. Likewise, directly before the pyramid fight, shoot the resin at the soldiers' feet to kill them all at the same time. Saves a ton of ammo. As for the pyramid fight itself, I just followed what you did and it worked out nicely.

If you push to that barrier near their spawn and run back the blue guys win

Everything in this video is great, I have only one advice. Don't destroy the blue cluster up on the right before you get rid of the guy with the machine gun. When you kill him, two guardians will appear there. When you see them, destroy the blue thing and it will kill them both instantly. Get rid of two or three ordinary guys after that and you're done
I did the 40-min ass fucking survival fight in the last section. I didn't know back then that the enemies won't stop spawning unless I go down. So I just wasted all of my bullets on the top until I ran out of ammo and went down. It was a pain in the fucking ass
At the encounter around 8 minutes where the blue dudes show up, if you had to redo the checkpoint, do the same thing as when Lazarevic's people show up and shoot the resin. I managed to kill both blue guys instantly with it.
I just recently beat this game on Brutal, and I did have trouble in the war room, Soldiers vs Guardians. It seemed like a never ending spawn of soldiers, and I died quite a lot. So I did something different and took cover right next to where they spawn from, and they stop spawning. It worked. You don't have to go inside the hallway where they spawn from, you just have to take cover behind that broken pillar laying on its side, right down the staircase to your left when you enter this room. And I didn't go there immediately, I killed several dudes before I made it there. But it does stop the endless spawn. I tested it 3 times.
If you got the grenade launcher (with enough ammunition) for the battle in the “temple”, you can run down the slope. Use the blue goo to destabilise the gunner and then one ore two grenades. Watch out for the entrance on the right. Two guys and a heavy will come out. So use two grenades to take them out. As soon as this is done go inside. Normally only the guardians will remain. So take them out. And then you got the checkpoint. If you die you will have a refilled grenade launcher. 20:00 that’s me. (Except this time, I just had to replay it twenty times). Oh by the way, in some chapter you said that it was annoying that you can’t see where you through the grenades. Well in fact if you aim and then press “throw grenade” they will fall on the spot that you pointed to (calculate though a parabolic trajectory, so aim a little higher.

This trick actually works! so i died aproximately 20 times legitimately, one time i was there surviving for 15 minutes straight and enemies kept respawing and one guy from god knows where kills me from behind. Therefore i try your trick, one guy with the shotgun comes, killed him then waited for like 30 seconds, i decide to come out only 3 enemies nearby, i go down the steps to the left grab the machine gun and kill them from behind CHECKPOINT in one and a half minute. Thanks a lot dude!

Interestingly enough, if you run right into the humans' spawn point, they stop coming. It feels like a glitch though because they really do spawn infinitely if you just sit back and shoot them.
+hitdoctor24 I have experiences that say that isn't true, but as you mentioned, this section is very buggy.
TheSeraphim17 Hm. That's odd. Just wondering, do you plan on making a UC3 brutal walkthrough? You mentioned wanting to cover it during this walkthrough but since that was 2+ months ago I'm curious if your plans have changed.
I do, but I still haven't beaten Crushing to unlock it. If it was unlocked from the beginning, the guide would be done :(
TheSeraphim17 Damn! I feel you though. It's a bit of a chore having to do two playthroughs. I love the game to death but playing on an even harder difficulty after already playing the entire game? Just give us brutal from the start. I'm currently playing it on crushing and it's proving to be quite a bit harder than the first two games for me which is odd.

I'm gonna actually quit out of uncharted brutal entirely this is just impossible they probably patched it out because humans always win for me and they spawn forever and ever and they don't stop coming I have enough ammo but they spawn infinetly as soon as I kill a guy his clone comes out of the door Edit:I finally fucking did it after like 150 deaths

That first bit on the sliding platform, you can just blindfire to stop the guys from shooting you right away. Not like you can keep the ammo >_> That first big open area you can stealth about half the enemies. Pretty much just leaves the heavy and one or two guys. of the first wave.

15:55 I just finished this game in brutal and man did I hate this section. First attempt: stuck fighting endlessly respawning enemies and occassionally being forced to fist fight a heavy with a shotgun for 20 minutes. 2nd attempt: same thing again 3rd attempt: sit back, waited for big blue guys to win and beat it in 2 minutes. Wtf game.
U just wait for the blue dudes to win or do I have to do something for them to win?
@@Kattmorsan I just waited. I tried replicating what he did in the Walkthrough. So I ran down to the left and the made a run for the hallway and waited. That worked.

In the room with the fight between the soldiers and the blue guys you need to grab the gatling gun to stop the soldiers from spawning. Use grenade launcher and exploding sap to take out the heavy then make sure you kill soldiers coming out of the door before picking up the gatling gun.
You're lucky I take 2 hours to finish the last part before boss :D
Yeah I'm sure the infinite amount of soldiers that come if the guardians lose is a glitch. It happened to me and after about 40 minutes I managed to get into the doorway that they spawn and the bastards never troubled me again.

I think the first step to accepting the guardians is to call them by their name, which is the Guardians, and not a slang term that could easily refer to the Na'Vi. But... what do I know? 😌
I love your videos and commentary and have subscribed to your chanel for years but you are dead wrong on this one. I've been counting and have now restarted 66 times and the Guardians have NEVER won, I think you've inadvertently used a glitch in your walkthrough.
Nope. It happens that they win. I've encountered it twice
On that last fight, The Guardians died, and then I used the crossbow to take out the heavier heavy -- the rest of the fight went remarkably well (no infinite spawn). The Water trench on the other hand kicked me in the teeth - without a crossbow to take out the grenade gun guy -- it's incredibly hard
i had no ammo and only one grenade and i was running in a circle, they were both weak, i threw the grenade and it killed both of them, it was absolutely beautiful
wow I just can't let this slip as not cheating like... this section drives me mad angry and crazy with this fucking endless spawn!!! and your method with the blue guys doesn't even work I guess you were lucky that it bugged or something that's all...

This isn't brutal because when he take a gun he reward 13 or 23 of ammo and in brutal you only reward 3 or 4 ammo with lucky (sorry that I wrote something bad because i'm argentina and my inglish is so bad
Nah man this is Brutal, look at he’s other videos and the reason he gets more ammo is because he picks up an another gun which he hasn’t touched yet and then pick up some other gun which has a lot of ammo and then he picks up the old one again and that’s the reason he gets more ammo.
