Well the camera is attached to the long black pole which is rigged to stay up reguardless of the suction cup system. It does help to reduce the amount of recoil from taking off tho💯

One of your mistakes is not adding a secure strap from the camera to the gimbal. Redundancy should the camera fall off the gimbal. This is coming from work experience

A camera is mounted apparently to the front bumper of a sports car, low and pointing forward. The car is driven through the streets of a city, running lights, taking corners very sharp, driven well, to a park where you see the figure of a man who apparently comes out of the car and meets a woman and kisses her. Let's hear how that was done, because it was thrilling, excellently shot, charming, if it were presented today it would deserve an award for a very short film, shot with zero modern equipment.

That first thing he screwed into under the plastic cover on the bumper is a tow point. You can screw in a big Eye bolt sort of thing to tow the car from with that point. It can handle the weight of the car being dragged out of a ditch or something on it. That is where all the support is the suction cup stuff is mostly just stabilizers.

That first thing he screwed into under the plastic cover on the bumper is a tow point. You can screw in a big Eye bolt sort of thing to tow the car from with that point. It can handle the weight of the car being dragged out of a ditch or something on it. That is where all the support is the suction cup stuff is mostly just stabilizers.
