Not my normal type of post but I think some of you will find it interesting. I refer to this toilet as 'Japanese style' but it is actually German. If you want a bidet but don't have room this is a two-in-one!
Nice to see an actual person who has installed and uses this! So many marketing videos out there, it’s not easy to get a good idea about a product until you see it installed
My Western friends went to Japan with me years ago and just fell in love with Japanese bidets. They actually bought the Japanese toilet seats and brought them back to their home countries.
I'd like to see how the water flows.
Woah just like in Japan! Can this toilet seat heat up tho? And can the night led lamp be put off? Because that is a waste of elektricity in my eyes. Thank you btw for this helpful video!
Seat does not heat up but it never feels cold. There is no switch for light but I guess you could have it removed.

Does it have UV light?
Does it need warm water input or it automatically heats the water spray ?
Cold water feed. The unit heats water as required.
Do you find the sprays are powerful enough to do the job on their own? Or do you still need a paper polish?
Clearly this is a subject that isn't usually discussed in polite society so I will try to respond tastefully! The answer is 'usually'. There are occasions where you may need a 'paper polish' as you put it.
Did you install this yourself? My neighbor has one of these, but it's a Duravit. I like this more. His doesn't have a dryer either. That's nuts. Must be nice!
I had it installed as part of a makeover for the room.

@@ChrisKayeHavingFun Not the item. I know the cost of that. I was referring to the installation. Pumping contractors are the worst. Especially here, but I understand.
@@ChrisKayeHavingFun $475 for the install. I don't know if that's high or low. I have the Duravit Sensowash on one of my toilets, but it's problematic. I'm not sure what the install cost was, but it was $2200 total. For something I don't use.
So you can control it with the app...while someone else is on it?
It will only accept nearest logged in phone...but when guests are using it they may get a surprise!

How did you manage to connect the toilet to iPhone? I can’t get it to connect....
My phone is not Apple. Its a while since I paired it but I followed instructions in the quick start guide that came with the toilet. Do you have this? Anyway, I loaded the sensia app on my phone; I confirmed the disclaimer in the app; with phone near the loo I pressed dryer and water temp at the same time then the app asked me if I wanted to pair. FYI I cannot flush the loo using the app but all other functions work.
@@ChrisKayeHavingFun my remote is slightly different to yours, I’ve tried pressing those two buttons but it does nothing. Il keep digging till I figure it out. Thanks 😊
Have you had to descale? How easy is that?
I have a water softener so I don't have to escape.

Yes, still happy. Haven't had any problems with it.
How do you change the light when it stops working
I'm not sure. But it is an LED so it will last a long time.

Still happy. No problems. I advise using the mobile app as it has more functionality.
