MK Lion Mothers Shield Cubs from Their Fathers | Love Nature

2022 ж. 26 Мам.
279 379 Рет қаралды

The five MK lion cubs are being kept away from the pride by their mothers Rosa and Zuri, despite being old enough to meet them. The Punks aren’t happy about this and start a campaign to meet the cubs, much to Rosa’s angry annoyance. The father’s instinct is proved right when, with Nathan watching, the cubs show wilful disobedience of Rosa and her sister, and get themselves into dangerous and deadly situations. They need to be with the whole pride - newly re-united under the Punks' watchful eyes.

  • I always like to see cubs interact with and annoy their fathers. The big males are usually not very patient or welcoming, but that’s not their job. As long as they protect their cubs, that’s what really matters. I love watching this pride.

    • I can't remember what channel I saw it on. But I saw this big male allow his cubs to eat before the rest of the pride. He was kicking butt of any lion that wasn't a cub so the cubs could eat first. It was the first time I'd seen that happen. But it was also an experienced pride male who actually liked his cubs. Females leave their cubs with the males to go hunt. You don't see it very often but it does happen more often than people think.

    • Male lions actually do a pretty shitty job protecting their lionesses and cubs. A lot of prides with female leaders do not need males. Male lions need females more than female need males. Males don’t pull their weight and create extra mouths to feed.

And people still discuss about no intervention policy? Not interfering with the nature. Bul***it. Look at those jeeps and cameras and the stalking of a lioness in hunting. Not interfering my a*s.

It wasn't intentional, she just wanted to get a full view, that even we ourselves would benefit from, because like I said earlier, it's because of persons like them why we are able to see how these amazing animals operate in the wild.. So don't blame them, just be thankful, because be mindful that they are also risking their lives..

  • While I love these nature documentaries, those extremely loud jeeps really screw things up for prey animals who rely not only on smell to detect predators, but hearing as well. And when humans fire up those blaring jeeps like she and the crew did at 6:18 seconds, that really screws up the chances for prey animals to live and costs them their life. Is it not possible to get a jeep that doesn't fire up like a motorcycle and is quiet in Africa or no?!!!
