If the media coverage reports he’s doing well, there are less people tuning in and less ticket sales Just look at the videos of Bauer doing anything good. Low views. Manager: "This part is the difficult part, inverting the glove" *Mr. Fujimoto hammers away all wrinkles in the leather in 5 minutes (*shows glove to Trevor with pride in his craft). Trevor: "You made the new sword logo design?" (Fujimoto-san points to the whole room to say "Oh, no, no, everyone here helped create this custom glove for you, Mr. Bauer")

  • In Japan, a person who masters one thing is called a "shokunin" The Japanese respect such people. Bauer is also a “shokunin” who has mastered pitching.

      @nobinobiii@nobinobiii9 ай бұрын
    • kinda depends on what you mean by "mastered". Shokunin is literally " person of job", shoku is job and nin is human, so it just means professional in regular English. I'd say any pro pitcher is a shokunin in this sense. If you want to say master as in the absolute top tier, then Tatsujin would be more accurate. Because Tatsu is short for Joutatsu meaning "reaching the top" and Jin is human, so Tatsujin is person who's reached the top, aka a master.

Sad thing is, Germany has decided to let their history from WWII mostly crumble into oblivion; as if by doing so, it's erasing a bad nightmare. Only, we MUST keep these places alive for future generations to learn from, or as they say, history will repeat itself...as it already seems to be doing. Well done!

  • The sleep apnea is affecting your quality of sleep bro which makes you feel sick and disoriented. Also silent reflux going on inflaming your airway causes that too. Can't lay on your back at all. Also, make sure you have an air purifier in your room for potential allergens (mold, dust, dander etc) because your voice sounds like your sinuses are infected ( they get infected easily for most people but they don't know it). Sleep studies won't tell you that reflux could be causing your airway to swell which affects your breathing at night, its an epidemic due to stomach ulcers we all have that keep coming back due to bad air quality. Clean your sinuses daily if you can. I use a Navage early in the day. You'd be surprised how a little bit of hydrogen peroxide in your nasal passage area, will open up the pathway.

  • hey Trevor A clever trick a high school coach once taught me when throwing a curve or slider, at the end of your pitch your fingers should almost be touching the ground at the end of your throw.. just food for thought. one other thing that I learned from the Astros legend Mike Scott is finger pressures to add movement on the ball.

  • My aunt survived Hiroshima and still lives there. If you want to know what it's all about, talk to a survivor. Btw, only possible sore spot, her mom, my Bachan, was a lifelong Dodger fan. Just sayin'.
