Detailed pitching mechanic breakdowns, grip analysis, and goofy re-enactments all in one place. Love it.
Trev re-enacting is like 10 year old me showing my mom how im going to win the World Series when I grow up😂 i love it Trevor plz keep it up
you can see the Baystars' manager peeking in at 1:01. he's a legend in Yokohama not only for his electric hairstyle, but his dedication to the team. His career as a pitcher overlaps with the "dark era" of the Baystars, and actually had a chance to transfer to the Hanshin Tigers. However, after hearing the fans wish for him to stay, he decided to remain in Yokohama. When asked in an interview whether he could have won more games if he played in a different team, he replied "no. because I'm Yokohama's Miura, nothing else."
Your re-enactments are far more entertaining than the actual game highlights.
Agreed
No
Does anyone have a link to a channel that shows the game highlights?
Big Fan huh?? Sucka!!👅🤣
Hard disagree it's lame they won't let him show highlights. Especially since it's actually hard to find on English youtube. He should just have someone else post it, then include a link to it.
字幕onにしたら、最後がちゃんと 『来週もぜってぇ見てくれよな』になってた😂
Trevor is locked in from so many perspectives. Excelling at and teaching the finer points of baseball , enjoying life, general inquisitiveness and constant learning.
Thanks for the Center league of NPB. Now we can see Trevor shows that entertaining
Trevor's dramatic re-enactments are great! YAW!!
I've watched more Bauer than MLB this season.
Me too!
The reenactment was almost as exciting as the game!! Haha.. Trevor Bauer was meant for Japanese baseball.. this is such a cool journey!!
The game breakdown reminds me of a kid explaining to his parents how his little league game went and I love it
I love the Trevor Bauer reenactment. PERIOD. ITS AWESOME
9:13 This person is the starting pitcher in the WBC final five months ago.
Good Lord That side-by-side pitcher comparison and breakdown was Great to watch. Informative, easy to understand, and I feel like people make good money to hear some of this information and breakdown on technique
It’s unfortunate you can’t show any NPB footage but it led to you giving us a dramatic reenactment so I won’t complain 😄
I feel like Trev would be an amazing friend. This guy is so genuine. Glad to see Japan is going great for you Trev. Id love to come see a game! When you played for Cleveland and pitched in Toronto I didn't miss a game. Tried for years to meet you and get an autograph
The dramatic reenactment was phenomenal please keep them up.
Man, that re-enactment!! Like I was actually there!! Love your stuff Trevor! Thanks for all the insights!!
I think Japan is the answer for Trevor. he seems so Happy there even though he is so far away from the states
scam@@ClickOnProfile457
The dramatic baseball in the end 😂😂
you did tremendous job yesterday. unfortunately, team lost, but all baystars fans are so much encouraged by your pitching and your cheering to fans! we love you, so stay with us and win together.
The anemic offense made a return yesterday
Hi,Trevor. Watching you passionately show us how you struck out Murakami with your cute Jigglypuff glove reminded me of something my son told me about his day at school. You just made me feel so happy at such a late hour (Tokyo ). Good luck next time and good night!
Absolutely have become a fan all because of your videos bro.. love the fact you are resurrecting your career in Japan .. really feel like you have found your place in Baseball there in Japan. The people love you the teammates love you .. I am so happy for you even tho I wish you was with the Indians 😂😂 we really need a solid pitcher this year .. keep making the videos please cause I am hooked and love every single one .. keep doing what you do
Japan…LET TREVOR ADVERTISE THE GAME!!!!!
I caught a game on "Spectrum channel" - but its was a channel that I've never seen sports on before. Was kinda excited but I think it was a one off type thing.
The live reenactment of the game was amazing
Trevor should do all of the game clip recaps from now on 🤣🤣
Yes please
yeah I felt like I could see it
I hate the NPB for the not allowing highlights but I love the Trevor highlights more so I guess we all win😂
The Shota and Bauer mechanics part was so helpful
The live re-enactment gave me the "kid talking about what he did at school" vibes in the best way possible.
Loving Your Channel!!!! My son is 9 turning 10 and has shown great potential with his pitching. We watch your Channel and your break downs and we learn so much. Your pitching though process, your pitching form insight, your batters analysis, how you adjust your pitches while practicing and SOOOO MUCH MORE!!! It is truly appreciated and highly valued. I NEVER played baseball, nor did I even care to watch baseball. But my son ended up playing rec ball at 5yrs old and feel in love. He now plays on a 10U Majors team and maintaining his development can be expensive. Most of the time we can't afford the private instructors. BUT THATS OK with Channel like yours offering to us the elite guidance and knowledge to continue to improve. BIG THANKS AND BE BLESSED!
Trevor is the best
Loving seeing fans, pundits and some media’s talking about and questioning the ostracising of you from the MLB and Dodgers. May saying the Dodgers really need you. Keep up the great work and showing them their mistake 🤣🤣
Trevor Bauer the goat
I like Trevor’s acting the game better than actual game footage 😂
Tito Francona mentioned you today saying that you could pitch every day if you were called on when talking about pitchers ruggedness
Bach in the background is great vibes
loved the reenactments of the ABs. really helps us understand what you see as an important aspect of it and helps us learn what to really look for when we see a baseball clip
That recap was friking AMAZING!!! 😂
Mr Bauer, you made me smile. Thank you. ✌🏻💟⚾
I want you to stay in Japan forever 🙇♀️❤
I have never been more excited following a baseball game.
Trev, your game replay skill is top level. On road games keep doing it.
Not going to lie... I kind of prefer watching your dramatic reenactments then the game highlights 😂
I love this post game recap the best 😂🎉😂
Re-enactments >>> NPB highlights
At this point it’s not that MLB won’t take him back, it’s that MLB can’t have him!!!!! Trevor’s willingness to share and teach what he learns. His passion that is shown for baseball is contagious. Love he is getting the respect he deserves in Japan!! Live by the sword!
The re-enactments are the best!
Love the game recap. Awesome
Absolutely priceless content with the dramatic reenactments. This needs to become a new feature for every sports show on the internet/TV. You have now created the best type of post game highlights available today
I think your re-enactments are better than ESPN
i love the live reenactment of the game. it reminds me of my buddies talking about their exploits during a rec game over a few pints afterwards. it is so cool to see a professional player doing the same and getting just as excitable about the game. I really do appreciate that about these videos Trevor really just comes across as an excited baseball player and everyday man like someone that would play rec ball with me.
Ready to see him carving up the mlb again
These reenactments are way better than actual footage
You're the freakin best Trev!! 😂😂😂 That detailed orientation of the game brought me back to being a kid!! God bless you, brotha!!
even though i am not a pitcher i love watching trevor bauer
just need a pokemon mask for the reenactment . hahahaha so funny . so happy to see a smile on your face after all the drama
Love this guy and the re-enactments
Hey I love your passion for the game and you are one of the best pitches out there. Would you ever make a polo shirt with your logo on it? I would love to have one.
I love TB#96's enthusiasm for his craft. Cherish every moment in Japan. We are all better people for watching these insightful videos. My only sadness came in realizing there is no Chalupa in this one. Stay the course Trevor.
Man I loved this video and the dramatic re-enactments are now a must moving forward 😂.
Dramatic reenactments are better that real highlites.
Amazing content always
awesome how you try to teach people about pitching mechanics! these young kids need to take notes! even older guys
That game re-enactment was so much better than just watching the highlights
Bauer is the Hungrybox of baseball
Thank you for the break down and comparison to your teammate.
You should always do the highlights like this lol
Best baseball vlog channel all love bauer
I think I'm almost a fan of the reenactments more than the actual game clips😂
i still can't believe the amount of hate this man gets 😂😂 keep doing your thing trev you're fucking killing it like we knew you would 🫡 love these videos and look forward to them every sunday
What an incredible reenactment of your performance I felt like I was there lmao
When mom asks "How did the game go son?" I loved Trevor's reenactment XD
enjoyed video thank you for educating me on certain types of deliveries (head movement). I'm in my 60's seen a lot of great ones on the mound you sir are top notch. TY Be Blessed
Thanks NPB, we got to see Trevor's sick acting skills😂😂😂
I remember reading a research paper on pitching dynamics. A particular focus was the lead leg action Trevor mentioned. Apparently the technique Trevor uses straightening his leg early tends to produce higher velocities (only by a few MPH, of course). It's a technique favoured in the MLB whereas Asian pitchers generally don't straighten the lead leg. As someone who has never played or watched baseball I'd always wondered why. Cool to see both techniques in action and finally have an answer. Though I would now wonder if it has a disadvantage towards command after that explanation. Love the re-enactment, by the way. It was possibly even better than the real clips.
like he said, his method works for him, each pitcher finds their own style for their training
@@danielzhang1916 Of course. I tried to make clear that point. The main factor is the end result, and plenty of incredibly successful pitchers throw in a terrible way yet get top tier results. The comment was made due to the fact that the specifics of those differences have been looked at in detail, and I've personally read a few thousand words of academic study on them giving me some useful insight. That doesn't mean every pitcher who does it "wrong" should change, often it would ruin other things down the line and destroy their success. But that also doesn't mean studying analysing and understanding the different styles is a useless topic.
@@olivialambert4124 Think of it like degrees of difficulty. Straightening the lead leg will produce (marginally) higher speeds, but it has to be very in sync with the delivery. He has to get the kick up in the proper sequence or he will throw into his bent knee without the forward angle to "halt the motion" and he will lose velocity. Not straightening the lead leg doesn't require that sequencing. Shota fires the lead leg, plants it and thats the end. There's no risk of getting out of sync and losing velocity. Makes sence why Japan, an extremely efficient culture in general, would prefer the motion with less highs, but also less lows.
We need more pitcher batter dramatization.
Trev you gotta do something special for 690k subscribers. You closin in bro lets get it!!!
My sons a young pretty decent pitcher but he needs to work on his mechanics. Your breakdowns and humility when you are struggling are awesome.
The hip rotation point is a good one. Find what works for your structure. Aroldis Chapman focused on loading his hips towards the rubber like Imanaga did here and it brought back the velo on his FB
666k subscribers! Lets gooo!
The post-game adrenaline theatre recaps are a great addition to the vlog.
Pitching master class. Trevor is a legend.
I would suggest taking apart a glove you kinda like, and copy its pattern and modify it, you also want to get spray adhesive so you can print the patterns out stick them to leather and get nice cuts. Have Fun!
Trevor takes me back to my childhood with his descriptive commentary except he is describing what happened. I described an imaginary game or what I wanted to really happen. Anyway luv how he keeps himself motivated and into his profession. Plus I can imagine him being in a broadcast booth doing color commentary. What a treat that would be. Wonder if the networks could handle it.
Trevor should get Japanese citizenship to pitch in the next WBC and prove everybody wrong😂
if he threw a perfect game, i'd laugh so hard
Trevor, your pitch style looks like John Donaldson and I adore it
I was literally just procrastinating from testing out CAD software and I come across CAD software in Trevor's glove design.
You have brought me back to baseball! My daughter played fast pitch in high school. Really like the shorter play time and action. MLB doesn’t fall on the sword by not picking you up.
Seeing Trevor cheers up me!Thank you sending the video!
Absolutely loved the dramatic retelling of your game highlights! 1000 times better than the game clips!
I’m kinda thankful for NPB not being flexible to let Bauer use the game footage. His re-enactment with a sword in the living room was a great fun, it was like an excited boy trying to explain his self-appraising play to his parents! Go Bauer Go Hama-no-Bancho’s DeNA!
I don't care what they say about him It's still my favorite pitcher.
I prefer Story Time with Trevor then actual Highlights.
Love the videos. Are you considering doing a baseball Q&A? Would the same pitch grip would work when thrown by both left-handers & and right-handers or different types of leg kicks/steps?
Love the reenactments 😂😂😂
I look forward to every vlog that you post
More mechanics breakdowns. That was very interesting hearing you talk about similarities and differences in your mechanics.
Love this guy. Thanks, Trevor.
If NPB keeps giving you a hard time you could get Eric and the gang to film some "dramatic" re-enactments when they visit Japan! Love everything you do Trev :D
Dude!!!! Keep it going!!! The whole nine yards!!! from KZhead to the lessons, we appreciate everything yo do, and we defiantly wish you the best!! GB!!
