  • Don’t forget cougar/mountain lions/panthers will stalk you for quite some time before you see them. Once you think you’ve scared it off, they sometimes will just be flanking you. Never assume they have left.

    • That's what I was worried about with the guy who saw the mtn lion and turned his back to it acting relieved when he thought it had left! I was yelling "no don't let your guard down and turn your back!". I hope he made it out alright!

    • If you check out the video again of the man hiking and the mountain lion you can see a huge abscess on the side of the pumas face. It's about the size of a baseball. That cat is probably hurting too much to attack. @@Irish_Georgia_Girl

    • Weird. Usually the only things i see while riding my dirt bike up on the woods (about 900 to 1200mt high), are foxes, lot of birds, few stray dogs here and there, but mostly sheep shepherds. I guess i live in a peaceful country as it seems, since never saw serial killers or mass graves around 🤨

  • I did hear a story about a little girl who got lost in the woods and the parents would leave dolls out in a familiar spot hoping to go back and find their daughter safe and playing with a doll. However as time went on and not only the parents but other people in the area came to accept the little girl very likely died of the elements or was killed by a wild animal they kept putting more dolls out there for the little girl's spirit. At some point these people leaving the dolls out there and maintaining them passed on. So now there's just an area in the woods with a bunch of very dirty dolls that probably looks pretty creepy now. I imagine that the other places I've seen in videos with a bunch of dolls in the woods have a similar story to them. Like flowers on the side of the road where some tragic fatal incident occurred, it's probably best to leave the stuff alone and keep going on your way.

  • Me and a friend used to explore the woods after school in like 3rd grade. One day we decided to go to an area we didn't like to go as it was pretty dark, we went in a little while and spotted a round object in the dirt. My friend picked it and found it was a creepy old doll head. We were both kinda scared of the doll head and decided to turn back but then we heard noise behind us, when we turned all we saw was a red balloon in the distance, partially blocked by some trees. We sprinted out of there and as soon as we got out of the woods we heard rustling right behind us, we did not want to look back. It was probably just some deer and some trash though it was really scary to 2 third graders lol

  • I had a few acres of land in Alaska 100s of miles from Civilization. I went into town to get winter supplies because engines don't like working when it gets too cold and I get stuck in the wilderness for months. It took about 12 hours round trip using a vehicle to get into town and back. I came back and some random dude was cooking my food and watching one of my DVDs (this was 18 years ago). He had no vehicle, backpack or anything, didn't look like he was in bad shape either.

Always strange things floating up. Also seems to be a favorite spot for helium balloons to float down to die. They always startle the dog. Wish people would mind their belongings/ trash better.

    • @@The_Blazementwhile that's probably true, in today's society here in the USA, sometimes it seems like just about everything is regulated in some manner or other and the average citizen commits at least 3 or 4 infractions daily merely by going about his or her business. If the "Alphabet Soup" gets hacked off at you, there's plenty of ammo they can figuratively lob at you by the sheer volume of laws, regulations, and other minutia. Obamacare by itself was originally 2,000 pages long. Regardless of the political "bla, bla, bla" regarding the pro's and con's, etc., that's not relevant to this purpose, to swing back around to the point of mentioning it, that's just 1 example of the sheer volume of regulations: the Obamacare stuff is just a single portion of it and it's that many pages long! That's not counting the rest of the federal laws and regulations, then state laws, county level statutes, and municipal/city/equivalent level of organizations' ordinances, regulations, etc. How can a responsible person read and know what all rules apply to him or her? You can't! I once heard a law professor I had when I went to college years ago say that the average American citizen commits 3 to 5 misdemeanors a day and a similar number of felonies weekly because it's _that_ complex now (and that was in 2008; imagine how that's ballooned since). If the ubiquitous they want their pound of flesh from you, they'll find a way to take it… (not that I am cynical; I've just seen too many bad things happen to decent people and wished there was an easy, simplistic fix)

    • Depends on wether its day or night. Our ancestors didnt go out at night into the Woods and when we hunted we did so in packs, not alone. Being scared of potential danger is the basis of our origin of being.

      @ccreds8545@ccreds8545Ай бұрын
    • Thank you for the reply to my comment and you are 100% right about the nature of humans also,Humans have not evolved to hunt at night because endurance hunting and gathering fruit and seeds are harder at night. Night requires ambush hunting and scent-controlled gathering, which are not our specialties. Other species may be better adapted and outperform humans at night.@@ccreds8545

In daytime I would often walk with several of my cats, but at night I'd go alone. Watching and listening to the woods was out of this world and it was a very precious and special place 💚 I was never afraid as I knew what belonged, you feel and sense the land 😊 My favourite find however was on Midsummers Eve, a very old set of false teeth that the badgers had dug up 😂😂 I always imagined someone out lamping, sneezed and lost their teeth in the dark 😂😂😂 There's photos and old videos of the cats walking down in the woods with me, surreal times and precious memories 😊 Loved this video ❤

So, after that an old fellow who worked on this tanks walked up with us one last time and he showed us how fast we could end our life there. Turns out, ONE wrong move and the hatches could lock in place and you cant get out anymore. We were stopped for a rest for a few hours. The eyes and the white paint, he did not do. But Holy Shit, I remember him carving that head. He did the same to 6 trees that he cut down around our house, those though were much more intricate. They were our guardians. My dad was a jewelry engraver at Tiffany's in New York so carving up things was his get down. Thanks Dad.

  • Your videos are STILL AMAZING after all this time! If I happened upon a forest with shoes in it I'd have to be the party-pooper to take them all down and throw them away because all I kept thinking about is how bad for that environment all those shoes hanging in the trees are!

  • 5:21 as a Doctor Who fan...... my heart dropped basically there are these monsters that are forgotten about the moment you look away and so to remember how many creatures they had seen or are in the room with them they tally marked their arms chest and even their faces. It's pretty scary to be honest. kudos to Steven Moffat.

  • I came face to face with a momma moose and her 2 calf’s as a kid trying to cut through the woods in Alaska. Thankfully she didn’t charge my friend and I (even after my friend ran towards my house after I told her to walk backwards slowly 🤦🏻‍♀️. Thanks Ruby!)

  • Speaking of terrifying and unsolved mysteries there's a mystery from my childhood that is very mysterious. Back then when my family was used to live in my grandparents house I might have slept at the doorway and when i woke up it's the middle of the night well because i was a little kid back then I panicked and run around in circles but then I noticed something in the sky i saw what seems like a circle slowly landing to the ground i went inside the house in a rush and when I looked at the window i saw two tall green figures coming out of the circle wich I assume it was a spaceship or a UFO the green figures opened the ship and it seems like they're trying to fix the ship but sadly I went to my room because i was frightened and the next morning there's not any signs or trace's of the space ship and the two green figures
