    • 😅 That's WHAT Maggies owners told me too!, she's scared of the car! Then I got the leash in my hand, she walks over to the car all by herself, jumps inside, walks around inside, the front and back, at this point the owners are face to face staring at each other in shock, then she sits down! I thought she was scared of the car? 😅 ✌💖

    • Hey, Cesar! I've been training humans and dogs for a year now through my platform, Animales Kingdom. I badly need your advice. I recently adopted a confused English Bulldog named Bart, from one of my recent clients. He previously attacked my client's boyfriend thrice and had to undergo stitches and her 14 year old son twice, attacks certain objects when sound is triggered. Before adopting him, he went through my training program, as well as his owner for 37 days. From the day his owner offered Bart to me as she thinks that she can't commit to what she was trained to do to become a calm and assertive pack leader, the physical touch hurts Bart and she feels pity, and no one in her family wanted to grow with the progress. He's been with me for 4 days now. He is doing okay as I have always followed what you teach us, KZhead Pack since NatGeo Wild. I was 8 years old with my 1st dog back when I started. We built trust, respect, love in our relationship. I have a pack of 4 dogs and 2 cats, with him is a total of 7. This case is similar to Gio and Shannon's case where the owner wasn't able to move forward and you had to adopt Gio. Just a while ago, Bart's owner messaged me, informed me that her friend's former coach was interested in adopting Bart despite his story as he said he was not scared of Bart, had taken care of Pitbulls and Rottweilers and love Bulldogs. She asked if it would be okay with me if I'd let that guy adopt Bart. Despite how heartbroken I felt with her news, I did the best to respond professionally with transparency that I disagree with having to rehome Bart with such basis that the guy is capable of being the rightful human to Bart. The owner told me she thinks this guy can provide Bart with a better quality of life and it would be the best for him which for me was insulting and indecisive. I think that it would put Bart in a very confusing situation again and ruin his trust in humans if I would let that happen. I've been crying this whole afternoon as I am currently under a lot of confusion but at the same time confident that I am Bart's human as he didn't show any negative energy and is calm and happy. Please help me. I badly need advice. Am I doing the right thing?

    • Cesar, can you help me please? The problem I have with my Staffordshire Bull Terrier is when he sees other dogs, he will turn his aggression on to me, by either trying to rip the lead out of my hand, or lunging and biting at my hand/arm/body. I now have to muzzle him when outside, which prevents a bite, but he still 'punches' me with the muzzle on. When this happens, his eyes are completely red and he will not respond to food or anything else, just a blind rage. I have to hold onto his collar until he calms down. I try to keep as calm as I can when this is happening and we see another dog. I've searched the internet, and read books on redirecting reactivity onto me, but nothing they have suggested, like walking the other way, are not working and it is getting worse every day. He is a rescue dog, there was no background history other than multiple rehomes/shelters. We have lived with this for 6 years now and it isn't pleasant for either of us, but I'll never give up on him! I would be so grateful for any help Cesar.

  • You ended the video on "hopefully the entire world." I have experiences that promoted your teachings on being a good pack leader. First: I was visiting a friend in Germany and her daughter invited me to her boyfriend's farm but warned me that there was a dog that was untrainable and vicious. I had been watching Cesar Milan videos, and tv shows for a long while. I did not make an evaluation of the pup until I actually was on the property. My friend's daughter and her boyfriend showed me the dog that was 'protecting' the property, and I remembered your teachings of how to relate to troubled dogs based on his behaviors. I knelt down, back to the pup, and continued to have a conversation with the two adults that were showing me this magnificent German farm. The pup had stopped aggressively barking and growling and started sniffing and coming towards my back, nuzzling me. The children of my friend were amazed, and kept saying how they never saw that happen with any visitor to the farm. The pup followed us, staying at my heels as we looked further into this wonderful landscape. forward 3 days, we were in restaurant when the two kids were explaining how I enchanted the deranged pup, in German, and another table of customers overheard us, and one man stood up and pointed and exclaimed with joy "Cesar Milan" and of course I credited your instructions and laughed with him. Second: A Few years later I was able to rescue an American Staffordshire from an abusive family in my neighborhood. Long story short, after securing his safety from being left out in 100°F, with no water for several days, and him coming to my yard after eating through a wooden fence, because I had a pond, he rescued me. I searched for a trainer (although my finances were not conducive to the expense, it was absolutely imperative I cut out other expenses to help this pup) that had similar training techniques to Cesar Milan, to train me on how to be the best pack leader of my Beau. (I lived in Chicago Suburbs - so far away from any help from your center). I was able to learn how to get his beautiful boy to walk on a treadmill (I bought one specifically for him) and his adopted kitten walked with him or stood on the controls on the top to encourage him. (he actually would not let me leave an adoption event of kittens, until I adopted her - she was a tortie, he was a brindle) This beautiful boy entered my life, gave me so much love and joy and I only hope I gave him as much love and fun as he gave me. But his life and the lives of others, because of him, too many stories to tell, and the lives I touched because of your tv shows, videos, instructions and your love of the animals literally touched the world, because of Cesar Milan. Thank you.

  • I was watching 'The Dog Whisperer' long before an ill-treated terrier cross puppy of 4 months was put into my path by the angels. Thanks to Cesar I was able to let him leave those terrible moments behind. I never felt sory for him and taught him respect and trust by consistant pack leading. He has been my constant companion for 6 years and was raised in Cesar's Way. He is a lovely, happy, energetic (2 hour walk/run every day, off leash) beautiful boy, whom everyone loves - especially me. Thank you forever, my dear Cesar, from me and Murphy 🙏🏼💚🐾🐾

  • Thank you Cesar, and to your boys! Like a lot of people, have been following you from the very beginning. You were the one that brought dog phycology to the whole world. And because of that, there are millions of dogs that are better for it, and now living their best lives. I really miss your TV series. A week ago, I rescued an approximately 5 year old female German shepherd. She's extremely fearful, sensitive, and still hasn't really engaged with me, but follows me everywhere. This is my first shelter dog, and trying to learn as much as I can to help her. From other's I've learned that it's going to take a while for a dog like this. One person told me about the 3/3/3 rule. 3 days to realize that this is her home. 3 weeks to learn my routine. 3 months to fully be acclimated, and open up. This is definitely a learning process for me. I suffer from anxiety and depression, and because I have to be so mindful of my energy, and hoping that it helps me to not be so fearful myself. Otherwise, she's always going to be nervous. I really want to take her to the vet, just to make sure there isn't anything medically wrong with her, but don't want to set her back. I'm probably going to wait until the third week. But because she's lathargic, I really want to make sure there aren't any medical issues, or it could be that she's older than what the shelter said. She's also under weight. This is a tough situation for me. Like I said, don't want to set her back, but need to know if there's anything wrong with her. Everyone, please send positive thoughts for my Lucy girl. ❤️🌵☀️⛈️🌈☮️🐎🐕

  • Here's a good one for ya !! I was just listening to you speak about dogs being afraid to ride in cars. We have a 3 year old American Staffordshire Terrier, she is trained to not jump up on people unless she is "invited" to as part if play time, she totally seems to understand this & is extremely good about it. ( Just ruling out that "jumping" itself doesn't seem to be the issue). hubby & our son all drive pickup trucks, all basically around the same size/height, all have running boards. She, Gracie, LOVES to go "bye-bye" & will gladly jump into the passenger seat of our sons truck, no problem. She will jump with help into the back seat of hubbys truck (she's skittish about the different textures on each of our running boards(we think), she is very well behaved while in the trucks, looks around a bit & then either sits & watches out the window or just lays down & relaxes. Now, for my truck, she wabts absolutely nothing to do with it. At first she seemed completely afraid of the running boards (all chrome except for the "footing areas"), so I brought her doggy stairs that she uses inside our home & put those close up against the passengwr side of my truck thinking she's already familiar with them, uses them often to get on & off my bed, so they have all her favorite "scents on them, ut nope, took one step up & rhen backed away. When she was smaller, 1st adopted at 9 weeks, shevwould happily go everywhere with me, I, of course had to put her in the truck myself because of her short stubby legs at the time haha, she went everywhere with me & loved it. We would visit family, go to friends, go through drive throughs & thete was never ever a problem. She never went to any Vet visits in my truck, always the hubbys truck, but she doesn't mind goung to the Vet at all, she always has a pleasant experience at the Vet because the employees & Vets always fuss over her & adore her since she's been going there since we adopted her. Soooo, (sorry for such a long story, just wanted to make sure I gave you as much info as I could) she has necer had a bad experience in my truck but it's the inly one in our family's trucks that shecwants NOTHING to do with. Whuch has now stopped our going visiting & all that since she is now too heavy for me to pick her up & put her in myself when it's us home just ourselves all day long. ANY ideas or suggestions would be more than greatly appreciated !!! Thank you so so much for all that you do for all dogs & their humans. I think you are amazing to do these pods & Q&A's along with ALLLL the other services you provide. You are definitely God's right hand man here on Earth to watch over & help as maby as you can. It without a doubt just HAS TO BE a true life calling for you. God Bless you & your family. Hope to hear from you soon if possible !!! 💙💙💙💙✝️✝️✝️🙏🙏🙏

  • Hello dear man ! I look to you for pack leadership. I rescued my latest Bichon (my precious girl passed at 18 from dementia and stroke). This one I rescued at one from a home that locked her up all day and all night. It took me a year to rehab her on a leash and was incredibly scared of men. I spent over $5,000 to fix her health issues. My main issue is she is so fearful of the ironing board, and vacuuming cleaner. She is such a loving girl and obediant girl and I love her so much. I gave her a new name "daisy" white and pure. Sonia Sydney Australia

  • Profoundly thank you for your wisdom and advice! I own a scarlet/green wing 18 years old macaw and now 2 puppies - an year old pit-sheppard-doberman puncher mix and 8 months old golden retriever. I love my dogs and me and my partner feel very happy with our little furry family. The macaw who lives with me for the last 7 years is very unhappy with the new family. She used to spent the day on my shoulder or walking around me and even layed eggs without a partner because of our bond. Unfortunately, now she has become increasingly aggressive and territorial to the dogs, my partner and even me. Most recently she bit and split my ear and is now so hard to brave out allow her to roam free or back on my shoulder as she creates danger for all people and pets around and herself by attacking. Puppies are showing respect and running away from her, but the waw she is pushing she can get hurt if she corners them up or I might have to choose between having her or a loving human partner. You own this amazing mix of animals and i hope you might have an advice how to bring back piece and ballance in our lives . Thank you so so much about your passion, creativity and strength!

  • So happy to see you back as a true pack leader for us Ceasar as a teacher. I hve a lovely, energetic girl. I am a Holistic Practitioner for people and dogs. I lost my best boy ever at only 6 years old of lymphatic cancer,when Zelda came I wanted to ensure her health was better ,also our journey began just before Covid. I hve been very successful at treating her myself with very little intervention from a vet required. She is healthy and beautiful .However, we now face a "trust" issue i believe because if I treat her ears for a yeast infection ( over weeks) or clip her nails she will show her teeth and there have been 2 occasions where she has nipped my hand not biting down bit it is showing me that we hveva trust issue that we didn't have before. I hve recently changed up my normal treatment session for her ear maintainence, doing it on her big walk so she is distracted by her nose and that has worked. If you have any advice for us I wld greatly appreciate it. Its so nice to have a Vet be the meanie but Holistic vets are limited and expensive and I am really good at it. Thank you Katy

  • Once I had a dog who was afraid of getting in the water (a pond). He was obsessed with fetching, balls or sticks. One day I tossed his favorite ball in the water. After a little yelpy whining and running around the shore on his part, and some encouragement on mine, the ball became more important then his anxiety. After that it was hard to keep him out of the water lol. Ozzy was the best dog 💖

  • Hi Cesar, I'm 15 years old and a fellow dog behaviorist in Australia. Thanks so much for your videos, shows and more. I've learnt heaps. Although I don't have a business, I help a lot of people with their reactive, aggressive and fearful dogs. I have an issue with my own dog though, which I would like your advice on. He is a 2 year old intact male golden retriever, named Lucky. Lucky is an awesome dog I can take anywhere in public, and trust him off leash. I got him at 15 months, when he was like a wild bucking horse, but quickly, using dog psychology, particuarly the walk, got him to where he is now. He's like a different dog now from when we got him. The issue is though, that me and my family live on 2 and a half acres and have farm animals. He is fine with the adult goats and other dogs, but tried to kill any baby goat, rabbit or guinea pig. If he was aggressive towards them, I could deal with that the way I dealt with aggression to small dogs, but he believes that they are food, and should be killed to eat. This is pretty much the only thing I don't know how to do with dogs. It's very annoying and also sad, as it's also causing a lot of division in the family, and I have to always keep the animals and Lucky separate. Your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

  • My dog has no past trauma we got her at 7 weeks old, so no past other than the day we brought her home and she sat in my lap completely fine. Makes me think I did something on one of our trips but from day one after that I'm going to the park once the car started it became about running cars not the car itself she loves the car, she's always hated the /sound of it starting/running & then the movement of the car🤷🏼‍♀️she'll get in the car and the word car makes her run to the car😅 she's very excited cuz she knows we're going places(she likes the vet she doesn't even mind that, she knows she gets special treats from the vet and to get to see other dogs every time we go😂Plus she's just thrilled at the fact she gets to come with me those times,& not just stay home. but as soon as the car starts she starts to shake and whimper the whole ride. I did notice when she's allowed in the front seat because it's just her and I she's a lot better, but only for a short trip (a quick ride around the block, Etc) she will be 2 in January 2024 & in the past 2 years we've had her, we went on one summer holiday both years. It was about 4 hours away she didn't cry constantly wimper but she did on and off here and there to let me know she didn't like it 😔 she has a very hard time laying down for longer than a minute at a time I even gave her anxiety treat that didn't work 😢so she sat almost the entire way there and back and whimpered on and off throughout the rides. Do you think since there's no actual trauma from the car it's just the vibration and sound of the engine she's also not a dog to stick her head out the window I thought if we could get her to do that she would enjoy the car more but she won't put her head out like most dogs 🤷🏼‍♀️ I'd like to take her more places more often, but I don't like how it makes her feel. So we only take her when it's short or necessary like going to a park that's further away summer vacation once a year, Vet.. Do you think a weighted vest would help her since there's no real clear indication of why she doesn't like the running car(she never gets sick from the car like my childhood dog did) she's a Husky and completely fine with loud noises..Not that the car is loud but I always thought it was the vibrations, she just seems so overwhelmed by the riding experience like looking out the window, all the sounds around us and I'm feeling like the front seat makes her feel tight and secure so a weighted vest might work the same🤔🤔🤔 forgot to mention when I said she won't lay down in the car she also unless the kids are in the car and she has to, if they're not so Pace from side to

In the first few months, we discovered that she did not want her paws to be touched at all. Her reaction was so strong; she did not bite though. She also seemed challenged the trust; her energy gave me that impression. Overtime through discipline and consistent routine I believe I've gained some trust. Now, I can touch eyes, ears and nose even wash between your toes. However she still strongly protests(barks) about getting her nails done. She is food driven & I have presented treats after grooming tasks to try to create a positive associations. She'll take then but will continue barking shortly after. I also try to respect her space when she gives those looks like "not right now." When we do tasks, I try to make sure she moves forward to me willingly, minding my energy and praise her when she does. In the past, I've also tried walks & medication to make her tired but she quickly recovers during a nail trim. I feel I'm so close but don't want to break her trust or respect. Is there more I can do to help her during nail trims?

    • Continue with your routine, touching eyes ears nose paws. If nail cutting is difficult try putting peanut butter on your forehead, dog licks this and you can trim. No I am not joking, it works. Good luck.

  • Please help! I have a chihuahua. She had a prior human. That person had her in a kennel, to sleep. But it was an apartment, that woman had cancer shortly after getting Peanut 😊the dog had puppy pads all over the place because PeNut was left alone weeks at a time. Cancer was beaten back after 5 years fighting. Then she got brain cancer, that took her life after 2 years. When she passed jo one could take her and she was headed for dog shelter. So, we agreed to take her. She was 7 years old with a 7 year history with her person full of cancer. We adopted her prior to her going to a shelter. Immediately she took to me right away. When we got home, she loved home, especially our backyard she finally had a whole yard to play in. She assumed my partner was pack leader so she clung to her. But loved outside. Fast forward my partner got cancer & passed. So she clung To me. But now? She's afraid to go outside with my brother. Now I have MS & cannot let her out. We put down puppy pads. But she's having poo & pee accidents everywhere. We do have another older dog about 10. He adapted fine. My brother put in a doggy door. He's adjusted greatness had an accident. But, Peanut insists on staying in and clinging to me. How can I get her back to enjoying our backyard?

    • When I leave the home, I always leave the tv on, my vet suggested this years ago And I have done this with my other dog, it works! They always hear people talking And it comforts them. The radio on doesn’t work, it has to be the tv. Just a suggestion, but it clearly works , it did with our lab that we had for 16 years. Than I got a schi tzu 9 years ago, and we do it with him.

    • Search for the topic on KZhead. There are many great folks out there who have strategies for helping. I think Cesar has done at least one video on it. A week ago, I rescued a 5 year old female German shepherd who is very nervous, sensitive, and hasn't really engaged with me, or even waged her tail. But, she follows me everywhere I go. Getting a little better, but I know it's going to be an issue. I know it's too soon to work on things with her, so I've only left the house twice, but my mom is here with her. Did a lot of pacing. Anyway, I've been doing a lot of research on KZhead for the very same thing, and like I said, found a lot of different ideas to use for when I can start working on it. You're going to find good ways to start. When you do, read your dog, and you'll know if you've gone to fast, and just take a step back, and keep working on it. And like Cesar says, be mindful of your energy. I hope you find what works for you and your dog. I know what it's like. My first dog didn't have anxiety when I left in the car, but if I was home, and walked to a neighbors house without him, he would just go nuts. Didn't try to work on it, just took him with me. If I left in the car, he was fine.

Husky it's like a toddler or child who knows how to play the parents so when it comes to me understanding some of my dog's behaviors I don't have a clue because I've tried everything but when it comes to other people's questions in your reply I completely understand and know what to do in their situationns but not my own I think a lot of it has to do with because Ive gone through the same or similar situations just with my Husky alone😅😅 or they're just things I know how to handle if my dog were too do 🤷🏼‍♀️ hello I put a very lengthy description and a question cuz I need to know how my dog loves the car even the word she goes crazy and has always got in the car no problem is when the car is running and the actual driving in the car I mean sometimes she'll vibrate on the spot or just pays back and forth the entire ride😢

  • Why does my dog eat poo?

    @CC-vu5ly@CC-vu5ly6 ай бұрын
    • I have read that if dogs smell the food in the poo from the dog who poo'd, that is what they are after. Or a possible Nutritional deficiency. I've only had one dog in my life who had that nasty habit but luckily it was only the poo of unknown dogs who are walked in our same neighborhood, never the poo of his "household siblings/pack" so always being walked on a leash & a polite request to other dog owners in the neighborhood to PLEASE carry a plastic bag & clean up after your dogs (which should be common sense, but we all know how rare that can be) but the other neighbors walking their dogs did start to carry a bag & clean up & the problem was solved. If your dog goes to public areas like dog parks & such, other dog owners should be required to clean up there but I'm not sure because I dont take my dogs to those kinds of places. Luckily we have a huge fully fenced in property & also walk our dogs so they have plenty of play/exercise space. I am curious to see what the real answer from Ceasar is also. Good luck !! I remember how nasty & gross that was to deal with. 😊😊😊

      @jro9365@jro93656 ай бұрын
    • Yep... especially if the dog that pooped was a fast eater and the food was not fully digested. A lot of dogs will also eat cat poop for the same reasons mentioned. Mine did, until my cat was no longer with us. He also ate fresh horse poop. Since they are grass eaters, I chalked to up to him having an upset tummy, and needed grass to calm it.

Can you give me advice, dear Cesar, on how I can take away their aggression so that I can enjoy walking with them and without them pulling on the leash? Because I want to be able to walk with my 3 Jack Russels with pleasure and pride! Furthermore, they are never aggressive towards each other at home, but they are towards other dogs, and I would like them to be able to play with other dogs without attacking each other! Thank you in advance for your tips and advice! Greetings from Holland, Harmjan
