Luka wass the best defender for the mavs in comparison to the way they play in the regular szn. Everyone else got cooked most of the game. Gafford got dominated, pj did well but he usually plays better defense, Tim, ky, derrick and exum all got cooked more than luka

Yes he is, he’s a better shooter, better in isolation, better in the midrange, better playmaker, better passer, better passer in the pick and roll, makes more advanced reads and is better at passing out of double teams. The defense doesn’t make up for all this.

@@grandmastajerm851 thats not gonna help when they traded away all their spacing like grant williams and seth curry for good defenders and interior presence. there are literally no consistent volume 3 point shooters on the team other than luka and kyrie, everyones acting like "they got cold" PJ washington been shooting 31% from 3 for the entire time w mavs and he shot 29% last night on 7 ATTEMPTS (why is he taking that many 3's). the way luka is playing right now is built for a team thats no longer here anymore, they gonna need some major coaching and off ball adjustments, because how he played last night is not gonna work in the playoffs consistently or even at all. Especially since their defense has gotten eaten up so far by a kawhiless clippers.

@@bondinho6114 he's not he's a only an offensive juggernaut and its mainly cause of his usage percentage. Defensively a liability. Kawhi will give you 25 with a better percentage and less usage and will lock up your favorite player.
