What’s the Glass movie about?
From Unbreakable, Bruce Willis returns as David Dunn as does Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price, known also by his pseudonym Mr. Glass. Joining from Split are James McAvoy, reprising his role as Kevin Wendell Crumb and the multiple identities who reside within, and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast.
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn (Bruce Willis from Die Hard and The Sixth Sense) pursuing Kevin’s (James McAvoy from X-Men and Atomic Blonde) superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters. Meanwhile, the shadowy presence of Elijah Price (Samuel L. Jackson from Pulp Fiction, The Avengers and Unbreakable) emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

    • You have to understand, that when you study theater, they teach you that when you're acting, you're not yourself, you have to become that other person, and you have to consciously give into the role, that you're conscious that you're not the one that's crazy, it's the character, not you, that you do not possess such a psychological illness, is Kevin the one that has it, not James, and that's why the actor/actress does his/her research with the characteristics of the character that they're about to present to the public, and not himself or herself you know, and that's why they do the research, to be conscious and aware that they're about to act a character and not themselves you know, unfortunately, there are REALLY strong roles in the business, that they might cause the person to break their psyche, like the Joker for example, you have to represent MADNESS itself with that one, and if you don't take the necessary psychological precautions, the role will break your mind and psychology, which is why Joaquin Phoenix is one of the best actors in the business, 'cause even after going such an experience, he's still himself and hasn't lost himself in such a role, unfortunately like the one from the Dark Knight Joker actor, that the role was too much for his mind, but James is one of the best too apparently, 'cause he had to play MULTIPLE characters in this movie, and represent a person with a broken mind without breaking his own, and for that, he has my respect and applause 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 😎😎😎

David has been doing this for 15 or 16 years and in that time he's clearly practised and developed all of his skills and powers whereas the beast is fairly new and hasn't really tested out his abilities yet. Also Patricia cannot intimidate or manipulate David so I'm not surprised she's scared or at least cautious of him he didn't even break a sweat during their fight. I would also guess that Patricia or the others may well have read or watched the news stories of the Overseer and what he's done its not like the personalities lived in ignorance they're all intelligent so they must have seen the stories on the news over the years about all the times David has saved or brought people to justice so his reputation proceeds him.
