I think the thing that really hurt the Lakers morale was the fact they played some of their best basketball of the season. AD was being a monster. D-Lo was being efficient and deadly at the 3. The rest of the starters were playing well and Denver was playing some of their worst basketball. They were missing open shots and couldn't get into rhythm. This was a game that the Lakers absolutely should have won all things considered but Denver took their best shot and kept coming. It's like in boxing when you manage to land your best punch on an opponent and they just smile back like it was nothing.
The true shooter has faith... even though a bad stretch. Even after being rejected by Bron, then dunked on by Bron. He comes up with the winning shot. What a Champ!
