Note: The lioness is from the Satara Lion Pride and the cubs were fathered by Casper The White Lion and his three Shish Brothers.
Game drive etiquette Rules:
- When you come across a sighting, slowly pull over on the side of the road closest to the animal, but keep a safe distance
- If there are animals in the road, immediately stop at least 20 m from them
- The lane furthest from the sighting should never be blocked, so that others can pass if they want to
- Don’t linger longer than a few minutes at a sighting, so that others can view it too
- Never go off the designated roads
- Never climb out of your vehicle during a drive, or hang out of your car windows or sunroof
- Don’t hoot or blare loud music
- Avoid driving into vegetation, as this could damage the environment or kill small animals
- During night drives, never shine a spotlight directly in animals’ eyes
- Never make noise to get animals to move, stand up or otherwise react for pictures
- Respect the rangers, and always comply with their requests or instructions

Mom has experience and her tiny cubs don't. She's stressing over all the vehicles and these tiny cubs have no fear. Mom is on a mission and trying to safely get hér babies there with her. Especially the one cub seems to be challenging her and it's making her tense and holding her up, Just like in many families, there's the one child that is stirring up trouble Poor mom has her hands full! As a mom myself, I feel for her. Those tiny, tiny cubs are awfully cute though and they are cuteness overload!

If this is where I think it is in South Africa, then the vehicles are not pressuring anything. We live for these sightings and are usually very patient with them because we understand what a precious sight it is and that we are in their territory

@@KingoftheRoad-2023 Thats cuz all animals are different. Lions are social creatures and obviously they would be able to recognize their own offspring and consider them to be a part of their pride. If you were to take a crocodile for an example, they just abandon their children. Mammals are more likely to take care of their offspring with love and care and acc have a superior intelligence compared to other classes of animals with few exceptions. Have u ever seen a male lion seriously attempting to kill off their own kid? We all know Lions can be rlly aggressive and yet no matter how much those lil cubs annoy him by following him or simply bothering him during his sleep, he clearly shows restraint and is aware that they are his kids and they are harmless creatures. Lions are not simply vicious beast that simply act purely on instinct without thinking at all. Lions only act on instinct to those which it considers to be a threat.

@@KingoftheRoad-2023 You really have no knowledge on cat's in general, there's a soft skin (I'm not sure what's it called) but the mom's bite on it gently to carry their cubs, and it does not harm the cubs, rather it stops them from any movement temporarily paralizing them, so their unable to shift. Which is a good thing, you're just failing to see the wisdom. Also if the cubs sensed any danger from her, they wouldn't follow her.

@@KingoftheRoad-2023 if you don't know, the mother lion bites the cub's head because there is a skull bone there, that avoids the mother lion's teeth tearing the cub's skin. They do not bite the abdomen or back as it can pierce the skin and tear the internal organs. Honestly, mother lions are smarter than many mothers

I see a cautious protective mother doing a great job. I see a road with cars in their territory, causing an inconvenience, not the other way round. I see mom staying close to her cubs while looking out for danger. We don't know if a male lion could've been close by in that long grass, and if it wasn't the father of those cubs by nature, another male lion could kill them. We also don't know if another cub was close by. God bless these magnificent creatures!.
They created a road block walking down the road, you can see everyone stopped waiting for them . Of course mom has no concept of this because she's a lion doing what a lioness does.

Yes, you can tell that she was definitely concerned when she kept looking up into the truck and then back down to her baby. She knew it could be dangerous, plus she couldnt just quickly grab the cub when it was under the truck.
